Quick Intro

I'll keep this part brief. I joined the Brotherhood back in 2015, getting my start in Clan Tarentum. I became BTL of Grey Wolf and subsequently served as AED of House Liath for a total of nine months around a decade ago. I took a long hiatus not to long after that, from which I returned during Ascending Conspiracy. From there, the rest is pretty much history.

GJW XVII ANIMUS

Phase two of GJW XVII Animus has kicked off as of a couple hours before this report. For the sake of report length. I'll spare y'all links to the competitions pages.

A quick note. Wars are won mostly on Participation. The more stuff we do, the more points we get. Of course, placement does count for something, but participation is key. The War contains easy comps to do in every bin. Getting at least one entry per bin rewards extra points. And getting one entry in every bin takes no more than a couple of hours over the course of two weeks. If you need help with something, reach out. Your fellow members will help you.

Competition organizers work hard to bring us things to do. If you ask me, one of the best ways to show appreciation to an organizer is to participate in the competitions they organize. Trust me, people wouldn't organize comps if they didn't want to see your entries. So, let's show the DC our appreciation for bringing us this war by participating!

A Word From Our Aedile

Hello Ventress! Thanks for reading this far and sticking with my paltry addition… First of all, thanks to everyone for the opportunity to serve as Aedile - I will do my best to help our Quaestor and to make House Ventress the best it can be. The biggest part of that is, of course, participation. I have been slow as of late due to some RL things and that doesn’t set a great example, so please be patient and hopefully I can lead by example soon. For the first several months after joining the Brotherhood I was able to advance quickly and accomplished quite a lot in a short amount of time. This is something that we can all do, but it helps to see leadership doing it! As my RL distractions sort themselves out I will be there as I was before - in the meantime, try to keep doing what you do and set a good example for me and others - GJW is a great way to participate! Submit entries in as much of each bin as you can, ask if you need help! Again, thanks for the opportunity and I look forward to seeing and hearing about all the great things Ventress accomplishes.
