Voice Report #2: Shouting from The Pavilion

A New Praetor:

At the end of last year, Idris' Praetor, Zentru'la tendered his planned resignation. Iddy was then tapped for DGM before this took place, and I was chosen for voice, which in turn led to a series of mass hirings. COU hiring for a new PCON, Turel hiring for a new Praetor to the HM, and a Wiki Tribune! Erinyes also gets to hire a new Magistrate to the Emissary at some point. Two weeks ago, however, Zen's resignation went into effect, and I put out a call for a new Praetor. I got over a dozen people interested, with more than half of you submitting applications this time! The choices were hard all the way down the line, and if I had more positions, I would have hired a few more than I did.

I'd like to ask all of you to join me in congratulating Duchess Jenni on her promotion from Magistrate to Praetor of the Voice.

...But Wait, There's More!

An opportunity not taken is an opportunity wasted. I had a lot of good applicants, from across a lot of backgrounds. Some of them I get along with quite famously, others I have butted heads and debated pretty much everything with. With that said, having elevated one of my Magistrates, that opened the door to another, so I offered it to my runner up for the Praetor post.

I would ask folks to congratulate Selika Roh di Plagia Slagar as they step up and fill the role as Magistrate to the Voice.
