Star Wars Product Review Forum

One commodity we have in abundance here in the club is our member's expert knowledge on all things Star Wars. So what we did was set up a forum here so you can put those decades of study and experience to work for us and the internet-at-large.

Reviews are a great way to achieve several of our goals here. First they help our members make informed decisions with their hard-earned cash. Second they spotlight new and interesting (or not) products that are hitting the shelves. Finally, reviews have value as an online tool and are a virtual commodity.

I don't always buy from a website like Amazon, but I do often frequent the reviews there on products that interest me. This is something Amazon capitalizes on that actually drives traffic to their site. We can do the same thing here.

At worst, we take advantage of all the great experience here. If you guys are like me, you buy more than a few Star Wars-related things throughout the year. At best, we create an archived repository for critical reviews on real-world products that others outside our club (read: potential members) can use to make informed choices.

You'll see Sarin (Pravus) and I review books and comics from time-to-time in our reports. This is a way of storing and organizing that great free knowledge and turning it to our advantage.

Currently the Product Review Forum is located below.

Star Wars Product Review Forum

It's broken into Books, Toys, and Games (board games, RPG's, video games, etc.) for categories. If you'd like to review something that doesn't fit one of those categories, let me know and we'll set up an appropriate sub-forum.

Finally, I might be able to work out a way to award something if you complete a nice review and add it to the archive. Let me talk to the MAA, etc., and I'll get back to you on it.

So if you have a review you'd like to share, post it in the archive and let me know and I'll do up a news post for you with a link.

Thanks to Socorra for setting it up.

great review might have to skip it if I come across it

I'm assuming people can add their own review for products even if someone else has?

Of course.
