Hashi follows the simple belief that those who rely on words are often the first to die. He is not above conversation when needed, but when the time comes for conflict one's actions will speak for the individual more deeply than any pretty words could. This commonly translates to many as Hashi appearing rude or crass.

Hashi is all too aware that he is not an overly intelligent man, nor is he particularly fond of hard labor. The only talent he’s ever held is killing others. Though he harbours little ill will towards his opponents but understands their deaths are what pays for his needs. This can lead him to placing himself in dangerous situations without considering the circumstances fully.

Hashi does not believe in swearing fealty of any kind except to himself. He offers his services in exchange for credits. This means he lives a nomadic life, often working until his usefulness has run out and finding some means to travel elsewhere. This leaves him without many close companions or associates to rely on.

Though Hashi was taught how to fight and survive on his own, his teacher had little time to educate him in the finer aspects of civilized society or academic pursuits. He is often unwashed and prone to scratching as a result of his hygiene. Something many find disgusting and leaves him in a difficult placewhen dealing with others.

The one gift passed onto him by his teacher was the lightsaber he carries and the knowledge with which to use and repair the extraordinary weapon. Hashi’s devotion to its care is of the utmost importance and to lose this weapon would be a tremendous blow to him. He is devoted entirely to his style of weapon and disdains the use of blasters or slugthrowers.

Hashi believes that those who act without any sense of morality are less than dogs. However, a life of providing for himself and facing the dangers of the galaxy have led him to understand sometimes you have to place such morality aside. This can lead him to hesitate in moments of danger.
