House Hoth, so named for the Former Joint Task Force Hoth, is one of the two Houses of Clan Odan-Urr, re-established in 42 ABY as a Noble House of the Vatali Empire, in the shadow of their 33 ABY predecessor. They were once viewed as the Sword and Shield of Odan-Urr due to their Rapid Response Force, the first to enter any situation that threatened Odan-Urr, and the last ones out.

Formerly based on Solyiat alongside the House Hoth maintained strong ties with the Wookiee “Remnants” of New Tython who had made the planet their home.
