Greetings all!

Woops... This ended up being a day later than intended. For that, I blame Howlader. There's no particular reason for this, but I've found that when you want to avoid personal responsibility for a busy week, the easiest thing to do is blame a panda. So there you have it. Damn Howlader.

This has been a great week, both for the House and for the Clan. Our House has seen the entrance of two new members, and three of our own advance to the ACC Beta Tournament quarterfinals. On top of that, several of our House members were instrumental in Taldryan Team 2 taking home Revelation and winning the Fading Light Run-On! So, congratulations to Taldryan and specifically to Yacks, Shadow, Halc, Tarax, Rathus, and Jac for their winning story.

New Members and Quick Things to Do

First of all, a big welcome to both Kooks and Bis-Ron! Kooks was recruited by none other than Armags (Congratuations on Knighthood!), and Bis-Ron was lucky enough to be placed in our House by the lottery system upon joining. Welcome to you both!

For both new and old members, it's always a good idea to check out what kind of competitions are ongoing . After this report gets finished, I myself will be participating in the puzzle competition that Aiden Dru over in Ektrosis is running, and there's a couple other very easy competitions that our own Decimo is running, including the creation of a Harbinger logo and motto (this one just for Harbinger members). Quick competitions are the easiest way to get involved and advance, so I suggest you all check them out!

Speaking of competitions... Mine and Kaz's search for report graphics ends tomorrow! Get to it! This report is going to be much sexier in a couple week's time... And not because Tarax is going to be helping me write a report next week.

While not a rank promotion, Armags has become Tal's new representative in TOR! Congratulations, Armags!

Gaming Update: D3 Has Eaten Mav's Soul

Reaper of Souls hit D3, and it's a hell of a lot of fun. I started a new Crusader and have nearly hit max level on it (leveling is pretty easy). I've seen several Tal members in game, and I started a Tal community (this isn't a guild - just a place for us to talk), so if anyone wants an invite, let me know!

If you haven't played D3 but like click-based computer games and combat, check it out. Beyond being a ton of fun, it's a great way to earn awards in the DB!

Fading Light: ACC on Deck

As mentioned above, Tal Team 2 cleaned up and earned themselves a shiny, ancient blade.

Next up is the ACC... and you need to be qualified to participate! To get started, you'll need an approved Character Sheet, and to complete both ACC Fundamentals and ACC Qualification. If you need any help, just ask... I'm the dude in charge of that stuff. ACC Fundamentals takes just a few minutes, and is a very quick thing to get started on. It also gives ACs, which will help you advance in the SA Society... so it's a good idea to do it, anyhow!
