We've just rolled out an update to the Character Sheet system, adding automatic unit conversion between metric and imperial for character height and weight.
This change required some internal database changes because we used to allow arbitrary text in those two fields, which has now been changed to only allow numeric values in order to ensure the automatic conversion always works. Due to the fact that we didn't want to manually go through all 6069 Character Sheets in the database, the conversion from text to numbers has mostly been done automatic, using some simple heuristics to determine what bits of the field to parse:
- If a unit of measure was supplied, the code assumes the field to be in that unit, taking the value as-is for metric, and converting it to metric if the unit was imperial (The database internally stores its values as metric)
- If two numbers were supplied, the metric one was chosen
- If no unit and only a number was filled in, it was assumed to be metric (as that's what the CS creator has always asked for)
- If no sane value was provided ("Anything goes", "Nobody knows", "Unknown", "Varies", "Don't ask a lady for her weight", etc.) the value was set to zero.
- Some stuff left over was updated manually (for example, some members supplied weight with/without armor, in which case the value without armor was chosen)
While this process should work perfectly for most cases, we can imagine there are cases where an incorrect value was chosen (for example when somebody filled in '6' as weight, which is a sane value in feet, but not so much in meters for most species), or the value was parsed wrong. In this case, please send an e-mail to me, Wally and Atra, no later than March 24, containing the affected Sheet IDs and correct values, and we'll make sure to get it fixed. Alternatively, you can just update your sheet and submit it, but that will not update archived sheets that may be attached to ACC fights.

Something was wrong.
Atyiru felt it the moment the doors to her office hissed open. The air, already too quiet in the absence of her once-loyal Proconsul, suddenly seemed to weigh on her, thick and oppressive. She felt her breath becoming shallow as he stepped into the room, the rhythmic cadence of his footfalls entirely oblivious of the sudden tension.
The next moment, Timeros Arconae, her brother and newly-appointed Rollmaster, took a knee and bowed his head. “Your Excellency.”
“Please, brother,” the Consul said, as she tried to recover her customary levity. Where...did that come from. “Must we stand on formality like this? I’d much rather you stand.”
“As you wish,” the Adept intoned, rising as smoothly as he had fallen before standing stock-still and silent, eyes fixed upon the Augur. “You requested a meeting.”
The question remained but unspoken, but Atyiru was adept at reading her brother’s cues. “I did. It appears there’s been a security breach at Dusk Station.”
Silence. Not a flicker of the eyes nor a word of response. Just a cold, waiting stare that lingered at the back of her head, poking at her memories.
“Brother…” she said, finally, leaning over across her desk. “I have the security logs. Mejas Doto was released on your orders.”
There was a momentary flicker of awareness in the Arconae’s eyes. When he spoke, however, his voice was dead and monotonous.
“His talents were required.”
“His talents?” The blind Augur raised an eyebrow. “I was unaware that he had any save in the field of murder, and we have others who are...amply equipped for that. Could you give me the cause?”
“It shall be apparent soon.”
“Brother, that will not suffice. You - ”
Atyiru’s incipient remarks were broken up by sudden noise from her office’s antechamber.
“The Consul is currently indisposed! You cannot -”
A loud crash silenced the protests, and the doors behind the Adept slid open, revealing four instantly-recognizably men. Strategos. Wuntila. James. Rayze. They stepped into the room with the casual organization of veteran killers, spreading around Timeros in a half-circle, hands on their sabers. Through the opened door, she could see Bly lie on the floor, clearly unconscious.
The Consul froze. Five men. Five Arconae. Five Shadow Heart Arconae, all armed. At long last, she recognized that deadened, dissecting look in her brother’s eyes: It was a look she’d seen him give to enemies on the battlefield.
She heaved a sigh, moving back her chair and fixing each of them with a stare through her blindfold.
“Well, then. A coup?” She managed a wry smile. “I suppose the dungeons did just get a few new empty spots.”
“Oh, Atyiru,” Strategos said pleasantly as he took a tentative step around the desk. “There’s no need to make this harder than it has to be.”
“Well, I suppose that if - “ the Consul’s words were interrupted by a storm of motion as she sprang from her seat, throwing herself bodily out of her chair and towards the door. She felt herself stop even as she began to move, however, her moment roughly arrested by five pairs of invisible hands that left her hanging in midair.
“Ah, yes. I thought that might come up,” Strategos sighed. “Very well. I suppose further talk is-”
“Superfluous to requirement, yes,” the Augur managed to say. “Whatever you came to do. Do it.”
James glanced at Rayze, who nodded before producing a dark sackcloth motion at Atyiru.
“Oh, you’re kidding me. I’m already blindfolded! I’m bli-”
The next instant, Wuntila’s fist came crashing down at her, and everything went black.
She awoke to a series of sharp stabs in her stomach.
“...awake,” a voice spoke close to her ears, indistinct through the sack, accompanied by another piercing sensation.
“Atyiru Caesura Entar.” This time, she recognized the voice. Timeros.
“Every action has a reaction.” James.
“Your actions have been seen.” Strategos.
“And judged.” Legorii.
“The consequences are yours to bear.” Rayze.
“Atyiru,” spoke the voice near her head, and recognizing him as Mejas. “We name you Atyiru Caesura Entar, di Tenebrous Arconae.”
“Rise, Consul,” intoned the group, as the pricks at stomach continued, slowly marking out the Clan sigil.
Today marks the two year anniversary of Atyiru as Arcona Consul. Over the past four years of her membership, she has repeatedly shown her value to the Clan. She has been a great artist, an amazing writer and an all-around enthusiastic participant. She has grown, too, within those years, and Arcona has grown with her. Leadership can be a tumultuous affair, and having seen it up close we can say that she has handled every crisis thrown at her with grace and wisdom.
As such, the Arconae have unanimously decided that it is time to add to our ranks, and welcome Atyiru as the thirteenth di Tenebrous Arconae. Congratulations, Abbles. <3
On behalf of the Arconae,
James and Tim

Three years ago this month Plagueis achieved something that many had thought we would never see: our returned to Clanhood. We, along with Taldryan, became the first houses to reach this milestone in quite some time. Many people in the Clan had worked tirelessly to see this moment over the course of many years, but the man who became the newly minted Consul of the reconstituted Clan Plagueis did a lot to bring us to that goal. I know that, through his actions, he reminded many of us that our dedication to the family we had built was of more import than any external tribulations we might have faced. I have no doubt that the vibrant Clan we all share today would not have continued without the welcoming manner and steady hand that he brought to the home we all have grown so fond of.
As a more recent newly minted Consul, I made it one of my goals to recognize the work that Montresor had done to help bring us to the place we find ourselves today. It gives me great pleasure to report that Montresor has been approved by the assembled di Plagia for inclusion in our ranks. While it is not the norm to recognize one who is not within our Clan, I hope that this exception truly underscores the import of this action we have taken. One's contributions to their Clan should not be negated or rendered unimportant by a desire to serve the Brotherhood at large as Montresor has done, both in the Chamber of Justice and in service to the Grand Master. I'm sure many of us, both within Plagueis and without, owe some thanks to the work he has done there. I know that Plagueis and its members have benefited greatly from things he has helped bring about, such as the Promotion Assessment Tool that he provided the inspiration for.
In the end, however, Montresor should now proudly stand with his fellow di Plagia. There are few who have deserved it more!

As of late, I have struggled to keep up with competing demands from real life and the Brotherhood. I am sure that this has been noticeable, as it has become increasingly difficult to satisfy my obligations in multiple places. After a lot of thought, and the influence, advice, and guidance of many individuals I respect, a decision has been made. I will be leaving the position of Consul. I hope that this will provide good opportunities for others to lead the Clan. I am confident that whomever my successor is, they will do well.
I have had an exciting experience in these past two years. I've worked with a lot of great people. I've learned a lot from them, as I hope many of them have from me. I look forward to seeing what the future holds and hope that it is not only as good as the past couple of years, but even better.
I do not intend to disappear. I will return to my home in House Shar Dakhan, and continue as a member from there. Despite my currently busy schedule, I intend to be active and enjoy the Brotherhood from a different perspective.

I've spent my last few days as Rollmaster in a dark, dusty conference room, deciding. I had good company though! I had good company during my entire period as RM. Frosty Romanae and Sith 'Beef' Bloodfyre, thank you for your support, shared wisdoms and fun during this awesome time in the summit.
We had to make a decision, and a hard one that was. All applications were really good!
Thank you for that
After some additional questions... It was still a hard call... We see potential in all who applied.
It's official! Tarentum's new Rollmaster is... Drumroll..........
Kromtal Stormfyld, aka Darknyte.
I'm looking forward to his future accomplishments! Be on the lookout for his, soon to come, first Rollmaster Report.

Dark Jedi Brotherhood,
DB v. Xanos Zorrixor resulted in a verdict that recommended expulsion. This recommendation resulted in a random website generated jury that has deliberated the facts of the trial. The jury has delivered a unanimous decision to expel Xanos Zorrixor. This decision was made following 24 hours of deliberation and discussion.
Grand Master Cotelin executed his duties as Justicar, but the decision to expel was the jury's and the jury's alone. Their deliberations, discussions, and decision were held outside of the Justicar and Grand Master's purview.
Jac and I have decided to release this result with a joint statement. This is an unfortunate event in the history of the Dark Brotherhood, but one that has exercised the very Covenant designed to protect our members. Trials, defenses, jury deliberations, and decisions were carried out in a professional manner and great care was taken to conduct all aspects of this case by the letter of the Covenant. Gone are the days where a club leader or random figurehead possesses the singular power to remove our members.
This case and the resulting expulsion are also a clear indication that a member's rank does not provide them a cloak of protection. Xanos was nearly our Grand Master, achieved the highest rank a non-Grand Master can achieve, and was a distinguished contributor to our club for many years. Despite these accolades, Xanos was not above the Covenant. He was warned by both Jac and I to stop his behavior, he was found guilty of Extremely concerning harassment, he repeated that harassment against the clear and repeated wishes of DJB member, and he did so with the knowledge that additional punishment would occur.
This is an unfortunate day for the Dark Brotherhood, but it is a day that has confirmed the fairness of our systems and processes for handling the most unfortunate situations we encounter. I am proud of the Justicar team and their tireless efforts to represent our club and its membership.
Grand Master Pravus

Now that applications have closed, it's time for me to announce my decisions for our two vacant staff positions. First, I want to thank everyone that applied. Each and every one of you was qualified, and any of those that applied could have been chosen. Everyone brought different skills, abilities, and qualities to the table. Given how close all applicants were in their overall suitability for the job, either with experience or with activity, I ended up looking at some slightly more obscure metrics upon which to base my decision. The position of wiki staffer is really one that can provide a starting point to leadership in the Brotherhood, or a gateway back into that realm. As such, I decided, all other things being equal, to prefer those that weren't holding other positions elsewhere. While this decision was motivated by the idea that I'd get to have these new staffer's undivided attention, it also let me strive for another goal as well. Often times these sorts of jobs are given to those that have already proven themselves, and that takes away the opportunity for others to prove themselves, too. Opening up more opportunities for advancement, not just in the medal/promo rat race but more importantly along the road from consumer to producer, is in and of itself a goal to be lauded.
It is in that spirit that it gives me great pleasure to welcome Meleu Karthdo and Tasha'Vel Versea to the Wiki Staff to fill our two vacancies. Both of them have tackled projects on the Wiki before (with Meleu having spent some time on the staff previously) and I have confidence that both will be able to make valuable contributions to the Wiki moving forward.

Supported Games Update
Good evening, DB! After a month-long test, I am pleased to announce the addition of two new additions to our club’s supported games library.
Effective immediately, Titanfall 2 and Star Wars: Force Arena are officially supported platforms.
Details for each game below.
Titanfall 2 has multiple options for cooperative play. All of these events meet the Player Vs. Others (PvO) criteria, and will award 2 Clusters of Fire for each submission. As this is a non-Star Wars game, there is a daily cap of 30 CFs.
As always, you must submit a screenshot through the site showing at least two DB members. Ensure your gamer ID is listed on the site for validation purposes. For now, 1v1 matches are not supported. This will be reviewed at a later date.
The following activities are accepted:
- Amped Hardpoint - Capture and hold a hardpoint to earn points. Amped Hardpoints give double points.
- Bounty Hunt - Kill enemies to earn points. Earn more by 'banking' bonus points at designated points.
- Pilots vs. Pilots - Kill enemy pilots. Titanfalls not permitted.
- Capture the Flag - Steal the enemy flag and return it to your base while stopping the enemy team from taking your flag!
- Attrition - AI soldiers flood the map. Three teams, two players, one AI.
- Skirmish - Small scale conflicts.
- Last Titan Standing - Everyone gets a Titan, and the last one on the battlefield is the winner.
Please ensure all screenshots submitted look like this:
Additionally, you may earn up to five (5) Pendants of Blood for playing Titanfall. Pendants are awarded at levels 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. You may not earn additonal PoBs after regeneration. Once you have earned five PoBs, that’s it. No more.
Get out there and win glory for your faction, Pilots!
Star Wars: Force Arena
I am particularly excited to add Star Wars: Force Arena to our list of supported games. This game is the first fully supported mobile game in the club, something I’ve been hoping to add since taking over as Fist.
The gameplay for Force Arena is pretty straightforward: This is a MOBA-esque game that pits a main character and supporting AI characters (from an upgradeable deck). Your job is to destroy your enemy’s shield generator before they destroy yours!
During the test, we found that a guild-size limitation of 50 members essentially precludes this game from 1v1 PvP support. The 2v2 PvO events allow for a co-op matchup of 2 DB members against random players from around the world. Should the guild limitation be raised/changed, we will re-assess the 1v1 viability for the club.
Based off testing and average match times, all matches submitted will award 1 CF per match. Since this game is a Star Wars game, there is a daily cap of 50 CFs.
As always, you must submit a screenshot through the site showing at least two DB members. Please ensure all screenshots submitted look like this:
It’s always a great day when we get to add more gaming platforms to the club. I should mention that it’s Gorefest this weekend, in case anyone was looking for a reason to hop behind a controller or a keyboard and try our new games out!
Oh. One more thing. By popular demand, Heroes of the Storm is getting a test. Details here. This event is already live and goes for the next two weeks.
Keep on gaming!

Dark Brotherhood News
Coming from the FIST Gaming Network offices, I bring you yet another month of gaming news and competitions to wet your appetite. Unfortunately since we are in the slow gaming news part of the year there isn’t much to update you on, since many of the new SW games are slated for the end of the year. To make up for this lack of news we switch gears and look at the new content and changes coming for the games in our current gaming library.
The blizzard games Overwatch and Diablo 3 are expecting big updates “soon” and SWTOR just recently dropped a new game update that added a lot of new stuff into the game. So if you're a fan of these games then go check out the new stuff.

Since Diablo 3 is making a comeback, members should already be aware of these rumors. With Season 9 coming to an end sometime in the next few weeks, everyone is now wondering when will Season 10 start. Oh and also, when will the Necro finally be released and for what price? If you are bored waiting for it why not try some Diablo 3 Mahjong?
Our Overwatch players also have rumors and changes abound, like Unity Day and DOOMFIST?. Did you know that in 2016 there were more articles written about OW then any other game? Also, did you ever wonder what your favorite OW characters would look like in N64’s Goldeneye? Well, wonder no more.
Blizzard is combating Korean Hackers in a big way and it will bring changes to everyone who plays on Battle.net. Read about it HERE.
