You enter the dungeon via turbolift, hundreds of feet below the surface of Antei, down into the deepest depths of the Codei Prison. As you step out of the lift, the first thing you notice is the heat—a sweltering, miserable heat generated by the molten lava that both powers and protects the prison. The walls shine in the flickering light, the moisture dripping slowly downwards to create creeping tendrils of moss on the dark stone.

The second thing you notice are the chains dangling from the ceiling. Massive, twisted strands of black metal ending in a pair of stone manacles, hanging roughly seven feet in the air—high enough to make just standing in them a torture in itself. You know the chains and manacles have been forged with Sith Alchemy. They were constructed to prevent even an Elder from accessing the Force. Those bound by the black chains would be utterly helpless. Escape would be impossible.

The room is rectangular, seemingly carved out of solidified magma, and roughly the size of a small transport. Against each wall stands immaculate, durasteel tables covered with sharp, ugly instruments used for torture and interrogation. You can sense a myriad of deadly machines hidden just out of sight underneath the tables, waiting to administer both drugs and pain. Splashes of blood, having long-dried into the bedrock, remain as evidence of those who had suffered here before. Echoes of their ghastly screams seem to reverberate around the dungeon, sending shivers down your spine.

The doors of the turbolift close with a soft whoosh, cutting off your only escape. You stand in the dungeon of the Codei Prison—the inescapable hell for enemies of the Brotherhood—and you are not alone.

Revak walked to the center of the room and looked around. Never has he been in such a horrible place. The stench was the hardest to overcome. Smelling almost of machine oil and sulfur with a hint of burning hair; it was enough to make his stomach churn.

He had come to the hellish region of Antei to recover a datacron that was stolen from House Odan-Urr. The datacron was a square box, small enough to fit in a human palm, containing battle plans crucial to the retaking of the Jedi world: New Tython. His six months of searching had come to an end.

Revak knelt on the floor and closed his eyes. He tried to ‘feel’ the positive energy of the datacron but all he could sense was an ominous force behind him. This caused him to open his eyes and jump to his feet. He turned to see a tall dark robed figure standing between him and the turbolift. The figure out stretched is hand to reveal the datacron.

“Looking for this, Jedi?” The figure spoke in a stern monotonous tone.

Through the enhanced vision of his battle helmet, Revak could just make out a slightly down-turned mouth and two large head-tresses peeking out from the robe’s hood.

“That datacron is the property of House Odan-Urr. Hand it over and I will leave quietly.”

The figure removed the hood revealing two large black eyes and strong facial features. Standing before Revak what the Sith Battlemaster Raiju Kang. Revak lowered his right hand down to his wait and rested it on the hilt of his lightsaber.

“Do you really think I will turn this over to you that easily?” Raiju laughed. “Without a home, you are nothing. Tarentum will wipe out your entire order. Until then, I will start with you.”

Raiju continued to laugh. His right hand pushed back his robe and revealed his lightsaber. Removing the lightsaber from his belt, he ignited it and tossed the datacron off to the right. It bounced off the wall and into a tool box full of bloodied torture equipment. Raiju immediately made his first strike against the Jedi.

Revak ignited his lightsaber and raised it horizontally above his head to catch Raiju’s overhead strike. As the two blades met, the intense light illuminated Raiju’s face revealing his blood-lust grin. Raiju pushed against Revak, sending him stumbling backwards. Raiju stood firm, bladed to Revak and held his lightsaber in front of him at waist height and at a 45 degree angle.

Revak caught his balance and planted his fleet. He raised his lightsaber vertically in front of his face then lowered it down to his right, pointing the blade to the floor. “You were once a great Jedi, sworn to peace and compassion. Let go of your hate, and come with me.”
