Dead Sprint Combat

When The character gets in trouble, they find no fault in bravely turning tail and getting the hell out of dodge. Obviously, this means that they tend to survive even the most deadly encounters... but the same can't always be said for their compatriots. This fact hasn't exactly made them the most popular among their peers, but hey, at least The character isn't dead yet.

While The character avoids combat whenever possible, they have no qualms working with technology under the stress and pressure of combat. My Fees Are High For A Reason General

The character does not charge a high price because they have to pay for a life of luxury; they charge a high price because they know that they are the best in the game and worth the credits. Those who do not know The character will feel they are gouging them, but those who have seen them in action know that they always deliver. This bravado follows The character around and builds on the success of completed jobs and can be off-putting to other Mercenaries that will try and lash back by pointing out their failures.

Always Prepared Combat

Sometimes the only way to prepare for the worst is to always expect it. The character takes this philosophy one step further by never leaving home without accounting for every possible scenario they might expect to encounter. The character tends to always have the right tool or item for a situation and has a habit of quietly and almost smugly presenting solutions before anyone even recognizes there is a problem. This foresight is far from infallible, however, and they often find themself at a loss in situations that go beyond what they could have imagined. While incredibly practical and often a life-saver in a pinch, their perpetually pessimistic outlook on daily life can be a bit draining on more optimistic-inclined companions.

Alternative Methods General

The character's skills as a medic are not just limited to holo-books and lectures. They has read up and practiced a handful of experimental treatments while inventing a few home remedies of their own. This allows The character to work outside the box in less than ideal situations, and can lead to them solving mysteries other trained medics might struggle with. This, of course, comes with its own string of failures, as nothing is ever perfect. That, and some of the more established professionals in the field often doubt or question The character's alternative practices. They typically brush them off in favor of doing everything they can to help a patient, but does quietly seek recognition for accomplishments as a healer.

I Know I Put It Somewhere... Combat

Fond of staying alive and prepared, The character keeps several bladed weapons hidden on their person at all times and in all different locations. Intergalactic Drifter General

Having been born inside a star-ship as opposed to planet-side, The character has never had a particular world to call their home. They grew up in an environment that requires being of use in order to survive, and without the borders that breed patriotism. The allegiances of the galaxy mean little to them, only the strength of individual merit. They are most at peace when in space, and will take on any contract or mission that enables them to remain firmly seated in a cockpit.

This utter lack of affiliation often results in what can be construed as insubordination and disloyalty, putting them at odds with those that value such things.

Tiny, But Fierce Combat

The character works hard to maintain an image of fierce tenacity despite being of a smaller stature. To that extent, The character has learned to not take jabs about their stature offensively, but to instead burn them quietly as fuel for their inner spirit. The flame that is sparked as a result is controlled by The character's discipline of never overestimating their own abilities or those of their opponents. They has trained to fully utilize their size as an advantage when fighting larger opponents. They know exactly how to leverage their weight to deliver the most effective take downs or maneuvers. The effort to maintain this image can be draining at times, and when outmatched or overwhelmed, The character becomes susceptible to a loss of spirit.
