As most of us know the Pokemon Company has just hit its 20th anniversary. For some of us this is a 20 year passion and so what better way to celebrate than by combining two amazing fandoms into one.

Most are aware Pokemon are based on real life creatures and things somthe object of this competition is to head over to wookiepedia and find an article, item, species, creature you really like and turn it into a Pokemon or Starwarsmon!

Submissions must be original pieces of work. Hand drawn, computer media whatever you want.

On the work the Starwarsmon must also have four attacks that relate to the item it's based on. It must also have one special ability as well as a type that relates to the current Pokemon types. There must also be reasons as to why you chose the attacks, type and special ability.

Submissions will be marked on creativity above all else. Please also name your creation.

Please include wiki link with your submission so I may refer to the article when I am scoring.

Star Wars Creature: Akk Dog: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Akk_dog

The majority of my choices were based on Gen1 Pokemon knowledge, what I could glean from bulbapedia and the wookipedia knowledge of the Akk Dog.

I chose the Normal type because it seemed the most appropriate given the mix of traits possessed by the Akk Dog. It might have been a ground type but honestly it didn’t seem “Earth” based enough.

Attack/Special Choices: The Akk Dog’s skin is immune to lightsaber blades, so i figured “Iron Defense” as an “attack” which raises the defense would be a connected choice. “Crush Claw”, “Crunch”, and “Stomp”, were really anatomical choices and seemed the most appropriate attacks for an oversized hound/lizard. The special, “Strong Jaw”, seemed to makes sense given the heavy jaws of the Akk Dog.

Vornskyon
Type : Dark / Poison
Ability : Detect the Force
Attacks :
1. Dark Pulse 10pp
2 . Slash 15pp
3. Crunch 15pp
4. Venom Tail 10pp
The reasons:
1. Vornskyr are venomous and hunt at night, so that is why I chose Dark/Poison type for my starwarsmon.
2. Vornskyr hunt jedi by detecting the force, so it made sense to me for my starwarsmon to have that as an ability.
3. I chose the attacks that best suited my starwars mon based off the information about the vornskyr.

Name: Anurcanis
Anurcanis is a dual type Water/Ground type. It's special ability is Stench: may cause opponents to flinch.
His four attacks are:
Bite - Because Frog-Dogs are known for their large toothy maws
Muddy Water - As a dual water/ground type muddy water makes a lot of sense
Mud Bomb - Because he's styled after a frog.
Slam - Frog-Dogs are quite large, and would be able to slam into many Pokemon who are much smaller than itself.

Why did I pick a Jackelope, well it's a Jackelope. That's just awesome in it's own rights. ;0
