[Week 1] - Even a Sith has a Plan

A wise man once said that failing to plan is planning to fail. It doesn’t matter how strong or smart one is, one needs a plan in order to succeed. You have been tasked with securing the allegiance of a person important to the plans of the Dread Lord, Corvus Shivar, the human CEO of a major manufacturer of industrial fabricators and power units. More importantly, it is preferred that this task is done without killing anyone. Describe how you would go about accomplishing this task using your own wits and resources. You may utilize up to two additional members of the clan in your plan as support, but the plan must be primarily focused on your character.

Your plan should be stated in some detail, but there is a 1,000 word limit for this event. Submissions will be graded on thoroughness, realism, and grammar.

### Executive Summary

As Clan Plagueis grows and the Planet Aliso is more fully utilized, we need more resources, particularly regarding industrial fabricators and power units. As requested by the Dread Lord, I have devised a plan to crack CEO Corvus Shivar and gain an allegiance with his corporation.

The plan will involve some… questionable activities on our part. But no one should get hurt if all goes to plan. And I see no reason things should go as planned.

In short, we will plant several of our lower-level clansmen as manufacturing and guard employees, gaining trust over a short period of time. They will then be in a place to allow our infiltrators to come in at night. They will begin to plant information and data on some of our competitors to the point where they will come running to us for jobs and money.

### Plan

The plan has three distinct phases described herein. The basics are that anyone with weapons will carry stun only, and only the best slicer and mechanical kits will be used. The costs of all of this, including fake identities and such, will be heavy. But in the end the loss of lives should be minimal, if not zero. Further, Mr. Shivar will not know of our meddling.

#### Phase 1: Implantation

The first phase is where we ensure a few of our members are hired by the corporation. I encourage three (3) guards, one for each main shift, and two (2) manufacturing workers, both on the late shift (the shift with the least amount of staff at the main facility).

These five folks would ensure they gain trust of their fellow employees and their supervisors, and also gain the access needed for the next phases. This would include the guards getting some elevated levels of security access as well as the manufacturing folks gaining knowledge of many of the computer systems and mainframe locations.

#### Phase 2: Infiltration

The second phase would involve a lot of coordination between our forces, the mock employees, and our infiltrators - a special class of Force Users or Mercenaries sent in during this phase. The night guard and manufacturing staffers would ensure that the loading docks or other entrance is open with little to no security surveillance equipment turned on. All we would need is about a 5-10 minute window. A blackout would even suffice, although I would hope we could get in without that.

Then our infiltrators go in and find access panels or the mainframe itself and begin to dump their data. As stated above, this is information about the corporations’ other partnerships being soured, containing illegal activities, or downright thieving from Shivar. It would also put in some good seeds with our Clan and Hyperdyne.

A simple brownout or flash of the security systems would let our infiltrators out once their upload is complete. The manufacturers and guards would either quit at a random drawn-out sequence or remain on staff for further use similar to this plan.

#### Phase 3: Activation

This is the most simple phase, but a simple trigger or two on the holonet would ensure the implanted data from Phase 2 is noticed and made available to Shivar and others at upper levels. This would trickle down the fake knowledge that their negotiations with other parties should cease and then start with us. These planted data would also be made known to the public in a way so that the holonews is also feeding into the corporate ledgers and sectors.

### Resources

The resources here will be heavy, but loss of life and long-term usability is highly likely. A separate cost estimate can be sent in the coming days upon request.

* People
* 3 x Guards (one on each main shift)
* 2 x Manufacturing Employees (both preferably on night shift)
* 4 x Infiltrators (for Phase 2)
* Supplies
* 10 x Secure-loop encrypted micro-cameras
* 5 x high-encryption datapads
* 4 x highly-capable, advanced slicer kits
* 1 x high-end mechnics kit
* 9 x embedded, instant-death kill chips (we do not foresee these being used)

If anything has been left out of this section or any other portion of the report, please but ask and I will provide.

Ask nicely and hope they say yes?

Barring that, the only good way to convince a corporation that it's in their best interests to do *anything* is to show them where the money is to be made by the decision. Then again, Kul is not exactly the best with financial markets and business procedure, so he'd more than likely switch to "aggressive negotiations."

Utilizing beast mastery and Dathomiri method of communicating with beasts, I would have them inhibit production and efficiency of the company. Looking to solve his problem, the CEO would be much more easily approachable. Whilst dealing with Corvus, I could utilize my skills in the force to aid me in striking a deal with the CEO. The plan would be to not only rid him of his problem, but to even use it as an asset. The beasts can be manipulated to guard the outposts instead of sabotaging ,should a skilled enough Jedi intervene. Once a deal has been struck, calling off the attacks would be simple and a steady supply of food would be enough to keep the beasts happy and working. Food would be relatively inexpensive for the CEO to provide as it wouldn't require much to keep his new employees gruntled. Should I require more trained speech craft skills, I would ask that Jai'de accompany me as she is quite manipulative and attractive (being careful not to offend her by calling her manipulative)

Simple. I would show up at his home, drug him, and then pose him in all sorts of compromising, sexually explicit poses with a gungan. When he awoke, I would make it very clear that the photos I took would be seen by everyone across the galaxy if he did not agree to ally with us. "Meesa thinkin' you not be wantin' deesa photos bein' seen by yousa family, okeeday?"
