Competition: Week 1: The Wraith

It is believed that the Artifact of Kalsunor is possessed by the spirit of Cy Thuron that is yearning to break free. But how did the spirit of Cy Thuron end up inside this artifact after being slain, physically, by Mirus Hi'ija all those years ago?

Your task is to write, in no less than 500 words, from the point of 'death' to how Cy Thuron ended up inside the artifact. What was the build up to this event. Did he know how to transfer his spirit, was it accidental, does his spirit have a goal? Explore these different ideas as you pen your fictions.

All entries will be graded using the voices grading rubric and all submissions should be through text box or in .pdf format.
