Specifics

The Fleet had taken a momentus leap of faith but something had gone terribly wrong. In what amounted to a single instant, the space around you felt like it took hours before a brilliant flash and everything went dark.

A memorial had been errected upon Sepros in honour of the many whom had died, and your name is upon it.

Hours after the catastrophic event had occurred, you awaken with a terrible feeling of dread...

Looking for a simple story, one page minimum to as long as you want (please keep it reasonable), describing in your own words what went wrong and how you returned "from the dead" to the Orian System and your summit.

Realism, adherence to your Character sheet will be required for this; all submissions that do not follow these requirements will be ignored.
