The Outpost

Peering out from behind a destroyed land speeder, the armored trooper of the Imperial Scholae Guard used his HUD to take a range to the roadblock that had literally just sprung up in his path back to his men.
Zhan’s forces had managed to commandeer a number of armored vehicles that looked to be pre-clone war era armored personnel carriers and set them in the road. Around the, they had dropped out a few rolls of anti-personnel wire and a few mines. To top it off, they had set up about six e-web positions on the rooftops and on the ground providing a great series of overlapping fields of fire in order to protect the roadblock and the carriers.
Checking his supplies, Dante ran through what he had on him. Weapons wise, he had his lightsaber, two 17DL-44’s in thigh rigs, his AXM-50 with a few grenades left, and his trusty E-17d sniper rifle that he had taken off of a rebel sniper that he had killed during the 2nd Battle of Trent years ago. Well worn, but still highly functional, the weapon was now raised by its owner to a shooting position.
Holed up in a building almost 1,000 meters away, the Field Marshal took a breath, let part of it out, and then pulled trigger. The blast leapt out of the barrel and almost instantaneously impacted against the traitorous officer’s head. The soldier dropped lifelessly to his knees as his head had just been slice through and through by the laser bolt. Surprised enemy troopers were in shock as their commander slumped to the ground with a melted helmet.
Shouts to take cover came forth from the platoon that was now without their commanding officer. The now frightened traitors looked out from behind their fortification to try and detect the enemy sniper who had just claimed the life of their lieutenant right before their eyes.
Browsing through the scope looking for targets, Dante found what looked like one of the senior non-commissioned officers and took aim at the sergeant’s head. He seemed to have taken over for the dead lieutenant who had just been slain by Dante.
The newly minted platoon commander didn’t last long as Kell went through his motions again and pulled the trigger with the same result. Two shots equaled two dead leaders.
With their two senior leaders gone, the enemy forces began shooting wildly out from behind their makeshift bunker.
Blaster strikes impacted all around the side of the building that Dante was hiding in, but he had set up his sniper’s nest within one of the buildings that offered excellent protection against small arms fire. If they decided to open up on him with one of the crew-served e-webs or the armored personnel carrier’s heavy blaster then he would have to move to his secondary and tertiary sites.
Dante had a decision to make. He could either stay where he was and pick the enemy apart one solider at a time, or he could try and devise a possibility that would also give him a quicker route to his men. Comparing the pros and cons of each idea ran through his head, and he knew which one he had to choose. The longer that he took to get past this obstacle, the bigger the chance more reinforcements would show up and make his life even harder.
Bringing up his tacnet, Dante quickly looked over the map overlay on his HUD and said “Shadowstalker One here…. Requesting close air support at coordinates Alpha Romeo Seven-Four-Two-Six-Five by Five-Eight-Seven-One… Over…”
The reply came back almost instantaneously with “Roger that, Shadowstalker One… This is Gamma Five Niner on approach to those coordinates.”
Kell smiled to himself and said “Message received… two runs should be good, and then I might need a quick extract if this goes badly… Shadowstalker One out…” He gathered his gear and moved towards an exit that had conveniently been made in the side of the building when a grenade had missed his location and blew out part of the wall.
The LAAT/I gunship appeared moments later above the battlefield and began laying down cover fire at the coordinates that the Field Marshal had requested.
With debris flying all around and forcing the heads of the enemy forces down, the Obelisk jumped down from the 2nd floor and hit the ground running directly towards the embattled outpost.
Making their second pass, the gunship was almost directly above Dante as he made his way into the fray. Firing a DL-44 in one hand and wielding his purple saber in the other, the leader of the Imperial Scholae Guard reached the obstacle and leapt onto the personnel carrier before switching over to his trusty AXM-50. He unleashed bolt after bolt into the huddled mass of enemy troopers who had been hiding from the withering fire of the gunship. It turned out that he hadn’t really needed to bother with the assault blaster.
Jumping down from the carrier, he surveyed the scene of massive destruction. Only a few enemy troopers had survived the onslaught of the air support to be killed by Dante so it hadn’t been that much of a feat of skill to defeat the outpost.
After turning on his comm, Kell said “Shadowstalker One to Gamma Five Niner… Excellent work… If you can give me a lift, I’d be appreciative.”
“Roger that… landing about 100m north of your position on a building top” came the reply from the captain who was flying the gunship.
“On my way” said Dante as he headed for the landing zone. Soon, he would be with his trusted 90th Legion and put an end to this Zhan.

Streets of Ohmen
After crash landing his TIE Fighter onto the streets of Ohmen, Landon Cruise made his way towards the Palace. While battling through scatters of Scions with his Lightsaber skills, he encountered a large outpost of enemy fighters. Through the distance he could sense the feeling they were harboring large equipment that could be used to bombard the Palace.

“Dang, these Scions are going to use some of this equipment to thrash the Palace. I lost my communications to other members through the crash, but might be able to take these guys” stated Landon Cruise

Quickly Landon Cruise started to think of a way to trick the Scions in order to flank them from behind. After searching his young mind, he came upon a quick idea. Landon had recently been dabbling in the arts of Telekinesis. He knew he could use some of his power to move minor objects in order to divert their attention for but a moment.

Moving from the shadows, Landon Cruise swiftly moved into the position behind the enemy troops. He was all concealed from behind the giant barrier of wall the enemy had created from the destruction of much of the city. Landon Cruise noticed everything from broken doors, to statues that once lined the streets of the Ohmen. This only further enraged the young Sith.

After minutes of meditation, Landon Cruise began focusing this new found rage toward using his Telekinesis. Landon Cruise began to focus on a task much bigger than him. While the young Sith knew he would never be able to lift a whole wall, he thought he could attempt to at least shift the wall enough to make the Scions evacuate.

Minutes went by and Landon Cruise thought he might not be able to move it after all and would have to resort to throwing small objects with his power. It was at that instance though he felt his Master Valhavoc telling him something.

“Keep your focus, clear your mind, and focus your passion on what you desire. Seek out what you desire and your powers will work for you. Your force abilities are only limited to yourself. Once you defeat your mind, your powers are unlocked”

It was at this moment Landon Cruise started to feel the vibrations of the wall. Through the movements Scions were heard communication to others to get off the wall. Unsure of what was happening. All the while Landon Cruise still concealed was focusing all his power into this act. Though his powers could only go as far as his teachings, he was still able to clear his mind enough to “shift” the wall.

While his feat of moving it would take many more years to accomplish, his task was still completed. While shifting the wall, most of it had fallen on the Scion’s equipment destroying it. Many Scions would escape the area, but some remained.

“One by one I will defeat you. My House members will save our Emperor and Zhan will fall. Your doom is only a matter of time.” Stated Landon Cruise

Landon Cruise began to make his way towards the Palace after slicing down the last few Scions who dared to stay and face him.

Acts of Violence

A group of dark jedi lead by Dante was heading towards the palace from the outskirts of Ohmen city. They were trying to get to the emperor as fast as they could to be able to save him from the scions of Zhan. There was an explosion overhead and then one in the middle of a building that crashed down on top of a group of Scholae troopers. The explosion sent Delak sprawling backwards away from the group cutting him off from everyone else. Dante radioed to Delak to make sure he was ok and he reported back that he was and to keep moving he would find another way to get to the palace. Delak turned around to head back towards the way he had come away from the city center and more toward the outskirts since there were so many downed buildings. He knew this would take time but he had to move quickly.

Delak came up on a group of scions that had fortified one of the bridges near the river. He knew there was no other way around these forces here so he knew that meant only one thing, he must push forward. There were a group of 8 scions protecting a fortified position. They had a heavy turret and regular blaster rifles. They were many but still they would be no match for the power of the dark side. Delak pulled from within himself a rage of the dark side that was like no other. He became mad with power and decided to take the group head on. The group was definitely caught off guard when Delak jumped high in the air and landed in their center avoiding the threat of the heavy turret. Delak ignited his saber and sliced backwards into the gut of one of the scions as the rest turned to bear. He quickly leaped back into the air as two of the troopers shot into where he had been standing. The two troopers knew too late what happened as they dropped lifeless to the ground. Delak spun round kicking a scion in the head knocking him back while slicing the head from a fourth scion. He quickly shot a quick burst of electricity into a fifth man and pushed him into the fast moving currents of the river. He blocked a few blaster shots from the remaining troopers deflecting one into one trooper and then quickly cut down the remaining ones.

With his foes defeated he jumped the blockade and headed back towards the palace section of the city trying to avoid any further troops. He made short work of the trip but on foot it took forever. The troopers in the city had made their way back into the safety of the palace to try and defend scholae forces from taking back their home. It would not be enough because these men had one thing on their mind and that was revenge. Zhan would soon be dead.

Guardian Kazuki one of many House of Scholae Palatinae members also part of Battle team Acclivis Draco.Decide to take part in the battles in the streets of Ohmen, to help end this conflict with Zhan and his forces. Who have been trying to overthrow Dark Jedi Brotherhood current ruling,which so far everything has been even terms throughout this war. The dark jedi in training snaked up his electrobinoculars to take a look at the small Scions’ outpost that he ran into after fighting through the streets and trying to regroup with his allies on the fair end of Ohmen. After observing he noticed a two man e-web emplacement with the remaining elements of the enemy platoon doing area patrols every 5 minutes. Taking a few minutes to collect his thoughts there is no thought process or a strategy what he is about to do in a few seconds. Kazuki hefted the flechette launcher he took from a dead enemy soldier a block down,it had one round left and he had to make it count because its maximum range is 250 and he is roughly 150 meters from the outpost.Not second to lose after he had a positive lock on the enemy personal. In quick succession,Kazuki fired the last cartridge of the flechette launcher and dropped it to the ground. Immediately starts running towards the enemy outpost. All doing so he actives his lightsaber,which in doing so alerts the Scions that he was coming out him. It was too late for the gun emplacement as men that was manning it disappear in ball of explosions. Kazuki sprang off his back foot and launched his entire weight behind his first strike. Which worked very well as he sliced enemy trooper from his shoulder to his waist,along with the blaster. The guardian did this over and over to each enemy soldier he came to within the outpost. While he was fighting his way through,so he can get to the other side of the street. The last Scions soldier in the outpost,which was the commanding officer of the platoon that was stationed at this outpost. Came up behind Kazuki as he strike down his latest victim,with a vioblade thinking he would catch the Guardian off guard. Kazuki was very aware of the attack that was about to happen.So the Guardian snapped a rear kicked to the man’s chest which staggered him back some from the blow.While the enemy commander was staggering back Kazuki falled his kick with a devastating kill blow with his lightsaber through the man’s chest. Thats when he heard someone called out to him from above.

“My lord do you need a ride to the staging area of the last push to take this planet from the Scions” That’s when he looked up and saw the shuttle hovering over him.” Yes please take me there.” Without another word Kazuki boards the shuttle after deactivating his lightersaber and clipping it to his belt.
