A young Jedi walks along the sunny surface of Tatooine. As he walked along the edge of what was once a massive dried up lake, he couldn't help but think on the irony of being able to see for miles.. yet having nothing to see within those miles. His eyes scanned the barren desert, not expecting to see much, but still paying due attention in case anything came up. He had heard of a Sith lurking around these parts, so slacking off was not an option. Not until the dangerous woman was captured. That was when it hit him. Suddenly he really couldn't see anything. It wasn't even as if his eyes were closed, but more like every ray of light around him had suddenly dissipated. Panic swept him as this surprise attack pounced. His feet were frozen with terror, could this be the Sith? The darkness seemed to be infinite. He could still feel the blaze of the sun upon his skin, but without any vision he stumbled forward. The blackness seemed to follow him. It was seemingly infinite, consuming. The young Jedi tapped into the force, attempting to seek out his attacker through the force. He felt the dark presence behind him. But it was already too late. He felt the emptiness inside him. Literal emptiness, as a lightsaber pierced his back. He looked down to see the blade of his attacker, but darkness was all he saw as he faded from life.

As Ophelia concentrated the feeling of light inside her mind dimmed and as she reached out her fingers the darkness creept away from their tips slowly pooling and congealing as if tar leaked from her cybernetic’s servos. Coldness swept over her and then away down with the inky black then the sensation left her and she watched as it snaked across the floor then expanded outwards, upwards and somehow inwards until it enveloped her and the room she stood in and nothing remained but the dark.

As darkness consumes the light the force gets stronger within. Force Darkness
