What is there to say about Firith? That he’s active? Well in that regards he is extremely active. In fact, I do believe that Firith is one of House Marka Ragnos’s most active members, if not the clans. From annoying everyone on Telegram daily, to always getting involved with the ongoing email discussions, run-ons, event competitions and competitions around the Brotherhood as a whole. He’s not afraid to say his mind or say what he thinks which in this day in age where everyone skirts around matters or steps as if on eggshells can be quite refreshing. He’s a relative newcomer to my House and that means little in the grand scheme of things. He’s settled in well and taken to his new location like a duck to water, or for a more Brotherhood related example; Muz to the Booze cabinet.

Now we’ll get to the nitty gritty of what Firith has done since his last promotion way back in August. First off he has run three competitions; Assemble Your Weapon, They Are Coming For You & Ahem A Poem About Me. He has also participated in 91 competitions, which you will have to forgive me for not listing every single one, however, most recently he has participated in I Am The Man Who Arranges The Blocks, MAA Puzzle #4 and Cursed Treasure.

On top of this crazy participation record, bearing in mind this is over a 7 month period, he has earned a total of 1 Anterian Cross, A Crescent With Diamond Star, 3 Crescents with Ruby Stars, 13 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 8 Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 3 Crescents with Emerald Stars, 3 Pendants of Blood, 16 Clusters of Fire, 58 Clusters of Ice, 30 Clusters of Earth, 22 Clusters of Graphite and 1 Scroll of Indoctrination. Gaming wise he’s done 6 PvP Matches and 7 PvE matches. Passed 8 courses in the SA and fictionally; in the last half a year he’s written 23,020 words in Fiction competitions alone and another 12,768 words in Run-ons. This in itself totals 35,788 words.

That’s insane.

It also shows he does more than one category of competition. He does everything from fiction to gaming and his arts pretty damn good. Firith is a man who is unafraid to get stuck in, regardless of how he feels at the end he will still throw himself back into the mix to just enjoy himself. In our latest event set on Moraband, he took part in everything he could and walked away in the top 3. The weekly counts always have Firith mentioned and I’m usually surprised if they don’t. He is a man that one can look to and know things will get done. He may be a grump, and he may have his own issues outside the club, but we all do.

I am proud to have Firith in my house and today I am more than proud to recommend his promotion to EQ2. He’s a bloody workhorse and I’ll be sad if I ever have to see him depart for better prospects, cause in truth he would deserve them.

Well done old timer. Thank you for making me proud to be your Aedile.

Additional reasons

Firith is the resident old man of Naga Sadow. He's a curmudgeonly gentleman who has worked hard to show just how much he values his time spent here. I couldn't imagine Naga Sadow without Firith, his trademark way of talking in fictions always amuses me. Raikou has talked about Firith's achievements and I'm pleased to add my congratulations.

Well done and enjoy Savant, Firith!

Firith is a character. I don't mean that in the 'he has a sheet with points on it and a fleshed out background' sort of way. I mean that in that he has an almost iconic sense of self that he brings to everything he does, be it his constant communication on Telegram or his vast amount of competition entries. It may seem like it is not that huge of a thing, but these sorts of memorable individuals do wonders for our clan in that they encourage people to be more than the stereotypical 'brooding bad boy sith' or 'happy go lucky jedi'. And yet, this is just a small example of how Firith has been able to enhance the clan.

My aedile did a great job elucidating the hard numbers of what the man has done in terms of quantifiable activity, competition entries, and so forth. What he may have missed is how he is constantly trying to help out.

A great example of this is how, when we were discussing the 'writing my character 101' documents, he made an off-hand remark on creating a list of questions for members to pore over to help them flesh themselves out. I honestly forgot about the conversation until i got the email. Firith sent to me a document that was twelve pages long, asking 178 questions. My head still swims, as I don't even know how I could utilize it fully, as it is just too much. But it illustrates the craziness of the man, putting in that level of work based on a throw-away conversation. His work with other members of the summit to create events (the Void storyline comes to mind) bears this same level of activity.

Ultimately, I have always felt that people promote themselves, and in this case Firith exemplifies it. His level of dedication, his constant activity, and his curmudgeonly stubborn-ness to drive toward improving the clan in any way that he can marks him as a Savant. I am glad to help put words in so that it is appropriately adjusted on the site. Thank you for all of your work, all you have done, and all I know you are planning on doing. I truly appreciate you.

It is with great pleasure that I write this for Mystic Firith'rar J. Versea-Stormwind. Since coming to the Night Hawks he has been an indispensable asset to the team, house, and clan. The guy is constantly active. You cannot go a week without seeing this name on at least a dozen different competition details. As his Battle Team Leader, one would want ten folks like this on a team.

Firith’s writing ability is amazing. Not only has he participated in the many, many comps the Brotherhood produces. He wins at them. Just going through his activity records will put a smile on any BTL’s face. Not just on a sporadic basis, he consistently places in these comps. Most impressively, his storyline for the Sands of Time with his team was unbelievably good and as a staple, he won the whole comp.

To caveat off the fiction aspect, Firith’s graphics ability is just as stellar. He has not only created good graphic comps, but he places and wins at them as well. His graphics for Sands of Time, Siege of Heaven simply amazing. The man has many facets and is instrumental to our team.

Mystic Firith, in my opinion, should not only be bestowed this promotion but he in all rights and purposes should be commanding a team of his own. As both of us are military veteran’s, I can say that I would have been honored to serve beside him in the battlefield of our military careers. It is still just as much of an honor to know him, interact with him personally.

Mystic Firith is well deserving of this promotion, and it is with great honor that I recommend him for the elevation in rank.
