I've been Shadow's Master since she was a lowly Apprentice in the DB. She always came to me asking for guidance and seeking my counsel. It's been an honor to have an apprentice who's so willing to seek knowledge and work very hard to climb through the ranks to Dark Jedi Knight. A year ago, she was promoted to Jedi Hunter and although real life has been keeping her busy, she's never failed a task I've given her.
Fiction is what she has her heart set on. She completed an 11-page character fiction, a 10-page Summit Task as per the QUA's request, and a 10-page lightsaber fiction. All of which are amazing pieces of work and has helped her grow and understand the DB more. In addition, she's passed Leadership Fundamentals, a difficult course to pass in itself and earning the prestigious Dark Maven in Combat which is a tremendous achievement.
All in all, she has participated in 22 competitions, having ran 2 herself for Scholae, Caption Fun 1 and 2. She's earned the following medals since her last promotion: Crescent with an Emerald Star for first place in What's that I hear? Soundboard! competition, Crescent with a Quartz Star for third place in Rainbows and Maul competition, 4 clusters of Ice for [Voice] Ambitions, Crescent with a Ruby Star for first place in the What's your mount? competition, another Crescent with an Emerald Star for first place in Calm before the storm competition, 3 more Clusters of Ice for her work in the Dark Crusade Avenger II run-on, and even a Dark Cross for her hard work and dedication to Scholae.
Shadow never ceases to amazing me in everything she does. I hope she never forgets that all eyes are on her right now as she basks in the glory and attention for joining us now as a Dark Jedi Knight. Welcome Shadow Nighthunter. Welcome to your destiny. Congratulations!

A great deal of work needs to be put in to achieve Knighthood. That workload feels all the more heavier when real life gets in the way as it did with Shadow. Despite this, she has worked surely but steadily towards her goal over the past year, producing exemplary work for whatever is asked of her. It is no surprise then that she has earned a plethora of medals for her competition submissions, not to mention a Dark Cross for her dedication and commitment.
Fiction writing is Shadow's greatest strength, and I had the pleasure to work with her on the Dark Crusade: Avenger II run-on. Her posts were always wonderfully crafted and a joy to read, progressing the plot while providing a personal insight into the characters' thoughts. Shadow has also written a character fiction, a lightsaber fiction, and a Summit task, all of which has helped to deepen her understanding of the DB and further refined her writing ability.
It is a privilege to recommend Shadow for promotion to the ranks of Dark Jedi Knight. Congratulations Shadow! There are few more deserving of this than you.

It is a great pleasure for me to see an excellent member of our House in such an important moment. Since the promotion to the rank of Jedi Hunter, Shadow Nighthunter has proved that she is ready to finish her training and to become a Dark Jedi Knight of the Brotherhood.
On her way to the Knighthood, Shadow has been a dedicated member of House Scholae Palatinae. She has participated in numerous competitions and completed many SA courses. However, she does not only participate in the official activities of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, but also takes up additional works, like writing out-of-competition stories to improve her skills in this area.
Apart from her activity, Shadow has proved herself as a well-mannered and mature person. She is calm and always does her job. It is not easy to reconcile busy school schedule with DJB activities, but Shadow is an excellent example that it is possible.
That is why, I am glad to add my support for this promotion recommendation for Shadow Nighthunter.

It is my great pleasure to add my voice in supporting Shadow Nighthunter and her promotion to DJK. In the time Shadow has been part of Scholae she has continued to grow as a member and become a valued part of this house.
Completing the requirements to move through the ranks to reach DJK can be a daunting challenge, one that only a handful of members ever complete. Shadow has worked very hard, especially in this last home stretch as a JH. She has worked diligently to not only be an active member, but better her own skills.
With her main passion of fiction, she has completed several major fictions, both as part of the requirements for her promotion and for enjoyment. She participated in a team for the Pre-Crusade runon. Her summit task involved her writing a separate fiction to better her skills at writing stories involving other DB members. She completed this task with flying colors.
As already covered, she finished all the requirements set forth for this promotion. But she has done more than that. She has become a vital and important member of this house. More importantly she has shown the growth in skills and understanding that befits established members of the house.
Finally let me say congratulations, Shadow. You've worked really hard for this and I am honored to add my recommendation to this list for your promotion. I hope it is one of many more to come. Drinks are on you!
