I am honoured to be recommending Snar for his promotion to the rank of Jedi Hunter. He has been a beacon of activity inside of Clan Arcona and House Galeres since joining us. As such, he has completed all requirements set forth by the Master at Arms Office for his next rank promotion:

Since his last promotions he has managed to earn himself a Merit medal in the form of a Dark Cross as well as writing a five page character fiction depicting his characters background history before joining the brotherhood. Not only showing himself to be a talented writer, Snar has jumped into gaming and really stepped up as a member of the Arcona community. He has recently participated in doing a total of 10 warzones with other members of Clan Arcona, as well as taking part in Flashpoints racking to earn an impressive total of 63 Clusters of Fire. He has done all of this and more in the span of about a month, and has earned an Anteian Cross for his efforts and willingness to help his fellow clannmates.

Snar continues to expand his knowledge of the Brotherhood and its workings, taking Leadership Studies and completing the Exam with a score of 97%. He is also in constant contact with other members. This is either through the forum of constantly talking on IRC and inside of the Clan Arcona channel.

He took it upon himself to complete a MAA task having to write a seven page fiction which was approved by the MAA Office.

With all of the above he has managed to complete the tasks set by the MAA Office. His hard work and drive has been exceptional lately. Congratulations Snar on making Jedi Hunter, and I look forward to seeing what you do in the future.

Below are your requirements for the rank of Dark Jedi Knight:

Six weeks at Jedi Hunter required or complete a Master At Arms assigned task

Must have a merit award

Must have a crescent or Legion of the Scholar

Complete:

Participate in 15 total competitions OR complete 15 HM Flashpoints, Operations or PVP events with a DJB group.

Create a competition and run it with the assistance of your leadership

Major House Summit Task as designated by your leadership or Master – these should be roughly equivalent to any of the other tasks presented below but can be fine-tuned to the member’s strengths – if your leader does not provided you with a task within a week of you requesting it, contact the Master At Arms. These tasks should not artificially expand on the six week time-in-rank requirement. Masters, a task you assign should have cursory approval from your House summit.

Complete three of the following:

Two Shadow Academy leadership exams

Five Antei Combat Center matches

Rank 4 in the GMRG

Earn 40 (total) Clusters of Fire

Minimum ten pages of character fiction to be approved by your House leadership or Master - this can, and ideally should, be built off of your previous five page work

Have three level 50 characters in ToR

Earn a Shadow Academy Degree

Complete a quality wiki article (it could be your character’s) as determined by your House leadership or Master

Create and run an additional competition

Complete a final fiction task, either a lightsaber fiction, a joint run-on task with your master, or any other major fiction task (roughly 10 pages) as designated by your House leadership or Master. Masters, a task you assign should have cursory approval from your House summit. If you do not receive instruction on this from your House leadership or Master within a week of requesting it and you wish to do this task, please contact the Master At Arms.

Sabers screeched through the training halls of the Arcona Citadel as two members clashed in combat. An ochre blade swung around to swiftly block a strike that would have seen the Aedile of House Galare’s head cleaved from his torso. Ducking under the attack, the Zabrak brought his fist up with surprising speed, allowing it to slam into his student’s torso and sending him staggering backwards.

“You still lack drive, dedication,” Cethgus Entar Arconae sneered. “You have learned nothing from me,” the rumbling voice of the Aedile spilled across the hall.

Liu’qin grumbled slightly as pain traced across his body, though it was surprising that he recovered so quickly. He grabbed his armoury saber and brought himself to facethe Primarch. Forcing his feet to move, he drew himself closer to his Master, trying to figure out a way to slip past his defence.

Cethgus moved first, however. The Primarch darted forward with speed and precision wrought from years of combat. Blow after blow rained down on the Jedi Hunter as he fought back with every muscle in his body. Though it seemed that the fight was very much one sided, Liu’qin had come a long way from being the Novice that Cethgus once inherited as a student. He was now fully trained in combat and by skill and instinct was actually causing his Master to break a sweat.

Slipping under his student’s defence the Aedile brought his hand out grabbed a hold of Liu’qin wrist, held it in place while snapping his knee into the Jedi Hunters stomach, sending him sprawling into the floor. Taking a few steps back the eyes of the Iridonian fell upon a male human standing in the viewing gallery he had only just arrived.

“That’s enough,” the man's voice was recognisable over the training rooms speakers. It belonged to Sanguinius, Quaestor of House Galeres.

Cethgus looked over at his brother and tried to hold up all 5-fingers of his hand, indicating he needed more time with his apprentice.

Sang shook his head, a smile tugging at the corner of his lips.

Cethgus frowned and tilted his head, but when he turned back to his apprentice, he was no longer laying sprawled out on the training floor. The Jedi Hunter instead stood proudly behind his master, armory saber leveled at his neck.

The Aedile grunted, but then nodded slowly.

“He’s ready, brother,” Sang said over the speakers. “Congratulations, Liu’qin.”

Liu’quin beamed with pride as he lowered his saber and bowed respectfully towards his Quaestor. He felt a sudden shift in the air of the room. Before he could blink, he felt a heavy fist slam into the side of his jaw jerking his head, shoulders, and then his entire body into the cold hard floor. The newly minted Knight’s body bounced once and then skidded to a halt a few meters away.

Sanguinius shook his head, and Cethgus shrugged helplessly before walking over to offer his student a hand up.

I am delighted to announce that Liu’qin Vahn is ready for promotion to the prized rank of Dark Jedi Knight. He has completed all of the tasks that were required of him to obtain this rank.

Firstly, he has obtained 122 Clusters of Fire, showing he is highly active within the DJB gaming community. He has also proven that he has knowledge in various combat techniques, having obtained the Dark Maven of Combat degree.

Liu’qin has also demonstrated a good readiness for leadership, having passed both Shadow Academy Leadership exams, as well as running the Critical Error competition.

When it comes to general activity, Liu’qin has impressed, taking part in five The Old Republic Warzones, and another 10 regular competitions, these being the Dark Crusade’s Phase I Chapter 1 gaming, the Jedi Knight Ladder #6, Curbstomp the Gamers 3, Dozen of Games Round XI, the Trials of Loyalty events Antagonise, Team Name/Logo and Battleplan, Dozen of Games, Caption the Frag and Your Dream..Room?

Liu’qin has also been awarded a Dark Cross and several crescents, showing he has been recognised both for his skill and his outstanding activity.

Finally, he has completed both the time requirement for promotion, and his major summit task, which was to make a detailed report on Journeymen inside of Clan Arcona, detailing where he felt we could improve, how he felt he developed, and if he needed any help at all.

I am honoured to be recommending my student Liu’qin for the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. He has been a dedicated member of Clan Arcona and House Galeres though he has had his ups and downs, I am glad to see the day he finally makes it to the rank of DJK. His activity and drive to progress further in the Brotherhood has been a clear example with this promotion.

I would like to take this chance to talk about Liu’qin as a person and a member of Clan Arcona. He has been an active and friendly member since he joined this club. Taking every task in his stride and aiming to achieve the very highest standard with everything he undertakes. He has dabbled in every aspect of the Brotherhood, from writing to gaming and is always trying to interact with new members of the Clan and get involved as much as possible. He is in touch with myself and Sang all the time trying to get more work where he can.

He enjoys getting himself involved inside of the fictional development and continues to ask for work in this area. Though recently he has began to interact with other members of the Clan inside of the Old Republic, doing Warzones with myself, Snar and Atyiru both of which will help them towards their goals further on towards Dark Jedi Knight. He is helpful and fun to talk to never having a dull moment, for all of these reasons he is a respected and energetic part of Clan Arcona and House Galeres.

For all your hard work over the years, and dedication to Clan Arcona you deserve this promotion. You finally made it to Dark Jedi Knight, Congratulations Liu’qin and keep up the hard work in the future, I look forward to seeing more from you.

The entire might of the Shadow Clan gathered in the spacious Throne Room of the Arcona Citadel. Consul Wuntila Arconae stepped through the azure flames that curtained the Serpentine Throne from the dias from the rest of the room. At his side, his Cythraul Kilvin looked out at all gathered with watchful eyes, letting his presence resonate freely with his master’s aura. Now flaking their Consul, Proconsul Marick Arconae stood with the rest of the summit; Sanguinius Entar, Socorra Erinos, Valhavoc, and Cethgus Entar all nodded their heads in acknowledgment of the Shadow Lord.

“We come together today on the eve of our next conquest in the Dark Crusade,” Wuntila’s baritone effortlessly filled the chamber. No speakers or amplifiers were needed, as even the newest recruits in the back of the Throne Room could hear their Consul’s voice.

“Arcona acts as a single family. One Clan. One family. I have the privilege of acknowledging a member who has proven her loyalty above and beyond the call of a typical journeyman. She stepped into a leadership role when called on, and stepped away when needing to focus on her own training. Through all of this, she has proven that she is worthy of Knighthood.”

There were a few murmurs in the crowd. Arcona had just promoted two Jedi Hunters already, how could they already have a third? The chatter was silenced instantly when the Shadow Lord raised his hand into the air and subsequently lowered it with the silence.

“Nath Voth, step forward.”

Nath blinked twice and froze in place. She tried to take a step forward, but her feet were cemented into the floor. She tried to open her mouth to speak, but found that her lips had been sewn shut. She tried to scream, but nothing came out--

--She awoke in a sweat, jerking back in her chair and hitting her head against the lamp on her work desk. She swore softly and then looked down at her desk, and realised that it was empty. Her eyes became attentive as they widened and she frantically started to search around the desk for what she had been working on.

Restless sleep had followed sleepless nights. It was an endless cycle that left the Jedi Hunter perpetually on guard, attentive of every action she took and every word she exchanged. And still, she worked tirelessly at her trade. If a task was given to her, she did it without question and without any fanfare.

“Where is it!?” She cursed, slamming a fist onto the table.

“Nath?” Naradas’ voice came from outside her room.

The Zabraak scrambled around as she tried to find her saber, but then called out as calmly as she could muster.

“Y-Yes master?” She called out.

“Ah, you have finally awoken, excellent,” Naradas spoke in his usual soft voice as he stepped into the Jedi Hunter's quarters, his sickly golden eyes locked onto his student. “You were quite exhausted from the ordeal of the past several days. Are you alright?”

“Yes,” Nath's voice was soft but firmly steady, eliciting a slight smile from her Master. “But my project is-”

“In my hands,” Naradas interrupted smoothly, his pale hand raised into a loose fist, the hilt of a lightsaber contained within. “I took the liberty of examining it while you slept. A fine weapon, quite well balanced for a first successful attempt. You have my compliments.”

Nath remained silent for a long moment, her black eyes studying her Master intently before nodding slightly.

“As silent as ever,” Naradas smirked before tossing the hilt toward Nath.

Nath caught the hilt easily, her fingers automatically wrapping around the hilt as if it were made for them, which it had been. With a slight press of her thumb, she ignited the lightsaber. The blade sprung into existence, its light casting sinister shadows around both Master and Student. Naradas shifted into a formal gait, his hands clasping behind him as he stared down at his student, his eyes glowing slightly with dark power.

“And with this task complete, you have passed all the trials that I, and your former master Zakath, have given you,” Naradas said in a cold formal tone. “You have grown in power, proved your ruthlessness and your loyalty, and with the successful construction of your lightsaber, you have earned the right to be a Dark Jedi Knight. You have my congratulations.”

“But do not think your trials are ended,” Naradas continued, his lips twisting into a sinister smile. “As your former Master discovered, new trials and new enemies await as you advance in rank. You have proven your strength thus far, but more difficult tests and more powerful enemies will come, and this time, you will not have the guidance of a Master. Instead you will need to discover the way to more power for yourself.“

“Now get some rest,” Naradas turned to leave, pausing at the doorway to stare at Nath for a long moment. “You will be shipping out in the next few days, so I suggest you prepare yourself for the trials and tribulations to come.”

It is my pleasure to declare that Nath Voth is now ready for promotion to the coveted rank of Dark Jedi Knight. She has completed all of the tasks that have been set before her with due diligence and an excellent drive.

Firstly, she has completed a quality Wiki article that can be found under Xenem Terrim. This shows that she is able to both use Wiki code and has a good grasp of character development. She has also obtained the Shadow Academy Philosophy degree, demonstrating she has a good level of understanding behind various Dark Side beliefs.

In addition to this, Nath has passed both leadership exams, showing that she has a good working knowledge of the theories of being a leader. She has further shown good leadership potential by running a competition, the IG event Strippers Are People Too, in conjuction with another member.

Nath’s record in competitions has been excellent too. She has taken part in no less than fifteen, these being, [IG25] As the light fades from your eyes, [IG34] Online Mission), [IG24] Who Said That? , [IG42] Death Star, Tractor Beam, X-Wing, [IG14] Six for Ten, [IG26] Call Your Banners (Medium), [IG07] Exodus Scramble, [IG06] Torture by Crypto (Medium), Phase I: The Hunt, Phase I: Reconnaissance Phase I: Encryption, Phase II: My Enemy, My Friend, Phase II: Advanced Recon , Phase II: The Betrayers Headstone, Phase II: Encryption and the One Sentence run-on.

Nath has been also been awarded an Anteian Cross, as well as a Silver Nova, fulfilling the requirements for both a merit medal, as well as a competition award.

Finally, Nath has both spent the requisite 42 days in the rank, and has completed her Major Summit Task, which was to help with the House Galeres Wiki Overhaul, in which she helped re-write a large portion of the Wiki pages that relate to House Galeres and its command ship, the BAC Darkest Night.

I am honoured to be recommending Nath Voth for her promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Since joining the brotherhood she has been a dedicated and devoted members of this club. Pushing herself to achieve this final rank of the Journeymen ladder, she has proven herself an active part of Clan Arcona and House Galeres.

Though Andrelious has managed to talk about what she has achieved activity wise, I want to take the opportunity to talk about Nath as a person. Since joining the club she was instantly engaging with members, interacting and helping to maintain the fun and friendly environment that Clan Arcona has. She is always offering to proof others work, though this sometimes can involve a huge amount of fictional work, or even parts of peoples wiki pages. Nath is always pushing herself to help others, and get even the other Journeymen of Clan Arcona involved in anything from RPG’s to just talking to them.

Finding a way to help others all the time, she has managed to also make room for her own personal requirements to achieve the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Impressive for someone so new to the club, she has also stepped up for leadership. Taking the mantle of Battleteam Leader of Dark Forge, though this was only for a short period of time, was done when House Galeres needed someone to step up. She has been a valuable and noticed member of the Clan.

For all of her time and effort she has committed to this club, Arcona and Galeres I am proud to see her take her step to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Congratulations Nath, you worked hard and finally made it. Keep up the awesome work and I look forward to seeing more from you going forward.
