Nikola stepped into the room, his senses tingling as he made a mental note to stay on his toes. The summons had come only a handful of minutes
before, but seeing as the Commander was in the area, he had made his way directly to the room upon the Invicta which he had been directed towards.
The room he stepped into was dark and he sensed nothing around him, his eyes attempting to pierce the darkness that seemed to stretch around him.
Suddenly his sight was stolen, and he swallowed the feelings of fear and anger that threatened to boil over as he tried to rationally work out what the frak was going on.
âGood, you obey orders as well as you always have.â
Nadrinâs voice boomed from the darkness around the Jedi Hunter as he frantically looked around, a low chuckle shredding through the air as Valtiere searched for his masterâs presence.
âIf I wanted to kill you, I have had countless opportunities to do so before now, and that is not why I am here. I am here for something that I will
enjoy far more than merely your death.â
Nikolaâs blood ran cold as he tried to think about what might have happened to cause his master to blind him and taunt him so.
âNo, today is not the day you die. Today, you are born.â
Suddenly, Valtiereâs vision returned and he saw that, although the room was still dark there was a single beacon of light shining in front of him,
ignited and hovering in front of him.
His lightsaber.
âToday Nikola, you become a Knight of Arcona.â
Suddenly, countless other beams of light burst into existence around the room, a crescendo of colours that dazzled and shone through the darkness that had held the area captive not moments before.
âTake your lightsaber.â
The Hunter walked forwards with as confident a gait as he could manage and wrapped his fingers around the lightsaber that floated in front of him,
taking it into his hands and holding it before him. He dragged his attention away from the weapon to look at the solitary figure walking towards him
and recognised with a start that it was his master, but for once he was seeing him without the mask he always wore to hide his features. Even more surprisingâ¦a grin split his youthful face as he beamed with pride at the older man.
âCongratulations Dark Jedi Knight, it has been an honour and a privilege.â
Nadrin swung his saber up in a formal salute which Nikola mirrored and as he did so, the lights in the room came slowly to life to reveal a large majority of the other Arconan Jedi, arrayed around him to join in his triumph.
Nikola smiled.
It is my proud duty to report that Nikola Valtiere is eligible for promotion to the esteemed rank of Dark Jedi Knight. He has worked tirelessly to achieve what was required of him.
Valtiere has created a quality Wiki page, that being his own character's page, showing that he has fully grasped the concept of Wiki editing.
He has also gained the Dark Maven degree in Flight, demonstrating an interest in expanding his knowledge base. This is further evidenced by the fact that he passed both Leadership Studies and Leadership Fundamentals, showing also that he understands the theories behind leadership.
Valtiere has also been incredibly active through competitions, completing no less than fifteen competitions, including an impressive four entries in
the first chapter of Dark Crusade, in which he was part of the second placed Wiki team for Krayiss II. He has also earned an Crescent with Emerald Star for coming second in the 'Where's Waldo' competition.
For his impressive activity, Valtiere has also recieved the necessary merit medals, which are two Dark Crosses and a Steel Cross.
Finally, Valtiere has completed both his major summit task, which was to revamp the Void Squadron Wiki page, which he did with his usual diligence and attention to detail, and the final task that was set by the Master-At-Arms Office.
Good work, Will. Congratulations on your Knighthood. Qel-Droma and Arcona are looking forward to see you joining the Equite ranks within the coming months.
