In the past seven months, jedi Hunter RianAslar has been a busy man. Having participated in the Rite of Supremacy this winter, he won himself a Bronze Nova for graphics in the first week and ten seals as well as a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. He was later awarded a Steel Cross for his work as Battleteam Leader of Phoenix. Also, he has won himself seven Crescents from participation in competitions. His activity is exemplary and exactly what this Brotherhood is lacking at the moment. His elevation to Dark Jedi Knight is the least we could do to reward him and thank him for his work and participation.

Rian Aslar, outstanding member of the closed House Ektrosis and now one of Taldryanâs most active members, has finally reached his Knighthood. Hard work and constant diligence has paid off for him and now Iâm glad to be able to recommend this promotion into the final rank of the Journeymen, and one of the most coveted amongst the Brotherhood.
Starting off with his requirements, Rian has been a Hunter for the past 6 months, has earned up to 14 Crescents and 2 Legion of the Scholars, as well as 4 merit medals including a GC, an SC and 2 DCâs. Clearly just by this it should show how his activity is high, but I will endelve even further into his requirements.
His participation since his last promotion has well over submitted to 15 competitions, including the most recent submissions to the Voiceâs competitions âPast Imperfectâ and âThe Bountyâ, in which he placed 2nd in the ladder competition. He has also passed his Leadership Fundamentals and Leadership Studies SA exams, has revamped the Phoenix Phyle Wiki page as a Task requested by myself (House Summit, at that time), and has run 8 competitions in total, including his most recent one titled âMe, myself and Iâ.
Constantly active, Rian has earned himself a Dark Maven in Flight, added with my statement above about his running 8 total competitions and has created/edited his own Characterâs Wiki Article, as well as multiple pages of Fiction outside of competitions and his Wiki, in which he has submitted to his House Summit. It is clear that Rian is deserving of this promotion, and I could not be more pleased with his stellar work in our House.
I would also like to take a moment to recognize Rian past his Dossier and bring forth his real personality and drive for excellence. Barely is there a day when I donât hear from Rian in one way or another, whether he be on IRC, or Iâm getting an email stating his has done some form of activity. I have yet to see a project or idea go untouched somehow by this members hand, and his thoughts were highly influential in House Ektrosis, and I know he will continue to do so in Taldryan. Always eager to help out, he makes sure we know he is available to do anything.
Another fine trait to Rian, is his experimentation and eagerness to delve into everything that pertains to the DB. I canât say enough how much Rian is an inspiration to me to get moving with activity when I see him passing an SA exam or participating in a competition, or just being there and visible. Few words can express Rian other than Loyal, Dedicated and Driven. He really is a unique individual, just talk to him for more than 5 minutes and you will figured that out.
Rian, itâs been a fun ride to watch you start out as an Apprentice in my House, and now to see you finally getting Dark Jedi Knight and serving as Battleteam Leader of Phoenix in Ektrosis has been pure awesomeness, and you more than deserve this.
Congrats, Obelisk Rian Aslar, Knight of House Taldryan! You are House Taldryan's first knighthood, bare it with pride!
