I will continue to watch your progress, Altair Tellaryn, but my direct intervention in your promotions must come to an end.

Battlelord Selika Roh di Plagia is without a doubt one of the Dark Brotherhood's most active and dedicated members. Selika is driven to excel in nearly every facet of our club and has succeeded in achieving near unparalled success. A key leader and mentor in Plagueis, check. A staff member who provides services and guidance to our entire membership, check. A writer who excels at creating entertainment for members and also excelling in our competitions, check. A gamer who challenges even the might GM in clusters, check. Selika has done it all, does it all, and will no doubt continue to do it all.
Outside of the objective numbers that will be covered in excruciating detail below, there is a very subjective metric that I truly believe separates members who near the rarefied air of EQ4 and above. This subjective metric can be summed up simply, the will to improve our club. Selika has this will. He wants to find areas of the Dark Brotherhood that need improvement and then determine the best ways to make them better. He supported DJB fiction projects without the expectation of award. He volunteered for T:Wii without the expectation of recognition. He served as a mentor to our members, without the glory of positions. Selika wants to make our club a better place and he has done it over a consistent period of time.
It is my honor to lead Selika's EQ4 promotion and my privilege to the be the first to congratulate him on the rank of Warlord.

I am absolutely thrilled to have the opportunity to provide my input towards the recommendation for Selika Roh di Plagia's elevation to Equite 4. Selika (known to most of us Plagueians as Slagar, or more affectionately, "Slags") is quite possibly one of the club's absolute best, and the numbers are there to prove it.
Since his elevation to Equite 3 well over a year ago, Selika has shown that he is a force to be reckoned with in just about all aspects of the Club. An avid gamer, he has participated in over 350 separate gaming activities, garnering a mind-bending 5852 Clusters of Earth, 313 Clusters of Fire, and 13 Pendants of Blood. Because of these numbers, he is always in the running for the highest levels of the Grand Master's Royal Guard. Additionally, he has written over 13,500 words of fiction, earning 27 Clusters of Ice for his efforts. To put that number into perspective, candidates for Masters degrees generally only have to write a 10,000 word thesis. Simply amazing! Selika doesn't just participate in competitions and activities, he wins or comes close to winning everything he competes in. Selika has earned numerous crescents of all levels and types, as well as three novae, two silver and one gold. These numbers are enough to give anyone Dossier envy!
Selika isn't just a consumer in the DJB, he is a producer. In the past year, he has organized or co-organized 42 competitions, most notably the well received Clan Plagueis Restoration event. As Quaestor, he led his house to victory in that same competition, with his house members outscoring House Karness Muur by a nearly 100 point margin.
Over the course of the past year, I have had the fortunate opportunity to work directly with Selika in many different capacities. He was one of the first members of Plagueis to welcome me into the fold, and he guided me through the Journeyman ranks and my first forays into DJB leadership. I was his BTL, then his Aedile, and now I hold the job he left to become Proconsul. Throughout this growth, he has provided calm and measured guidance, and most importantly friendship. I'll make this blunt: Selika is one of the reasons I care as much about this club as I do. He sets an absolutely outstanding example to everyone he deals with, and I couldn't have asked for a better guide and mentor as I continue to learn the ropes in this club. To say he has earned this promotion to EQ4 is a colossal understatement: he deserves this promotion.
Congratulations, friend!
Darth Dracaryis, 2015-12-01 05:38:44 UTC
Selika is one of our most remarkable members. As if being one of our most active participants (78 competitions since last promotion!), an active leader (organizing a half dozen competitions and co-organizing more than thirty as QUA and then PCON - as Plagueis members attest in the other reccs, and most skilled members (3 Novae and nearly two dozen crescents) wasn't enough, Selika has now devoted much of his attention to the club as a whole. Selika's Amethyst Kukri exemplifies the kind of member he is - the medal was given not just for his incredible work ethic in his Clan but also his assistance to the Dark Council.
As a Tribune, Selika has done an excellent job in managing the Wiki and overseeing some important changes. Selika has made literally hundreds of Wiki changes since becoming Tribune, but more importantly, Selika has implemented policies in how we handle article names of units to better fit the new way we handle Clans and Houses and has prepared the Wiki for our massive shift in canon. Much of Selika's contributions come as a skilled and thoughtful advisor, considering positions and offering valuable feedback during small-team discussions.
The mark of an Equite is that they make the club a better place. For some, these are small actions, within a Battleteam, a House, or a Clan - activity, leading competitions, and making units more fun and enjoyable. For others, they are Brotherhood-wide actions, taking on positions like Wiki Tribune and making the Wiki a cleaner, better place. For the rare few, they combine incredible dedication at the Clan level with selfless work for the Brotherhood as a whole. Selika is one of those few, and thus, his promotion to Equite 4 is, without a doubt, deserved.
Congratulations, Slags. You deserve it!

Selika has been, quite literally, a powerhouse driving Plagueis. As a mentor and as proconsul, Selika has pushed everyone in Plagueis to their full potential, and makes them care about Plagueis as a unit more than they ever thought possible. His dedication to the clan cannot be understated, and is shown in everything he does.
When I chose him to be my proconsul I knew I was choosing someone who has been my friend for almost 15 years, but I was also choosing someone I knew had a drive unlike any other to improve the product we provide for our members. With the recent Forged Alliances event with Tarentum, Selika helped coordinate, create, grade, and facilitate many of the events. He’s pushed everyone in Plagueis to participate in not only Forged Alliances but every facet that the Brotherhood offers.
On top of all of this, Selika has been assisting Plagueis in bringing together a successful framework to carve out a future for Plagueis, and most importantly, our future with Episode VII quickly approaching. With major contributions to the ideas Plagueis have been putting into place coming from Selika, I have no doubt that without his assistance we wouldn’t have been ready in time.
The dedication to these major, time-extensive projects, are all examples of the things we look for in upper level equites. I am more than thrilled to write this recommendation for Selika’s promotion to EQ4, which is far more than deserved. Congratulations!

One of the greatest parts of leadership in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood is the ability to recommend deserving members for awards and elevation to the next rank. And no elevation is more important to a DJB member than their promotion into the ranks of the Equites. Only those who show extraordinary skill in competition, a strong ability to lead, and a fierce desire to make this club a better place for its members are even considered for promotion into the Equites. Jai'de Serpens is one of those members. Even a cursory glance at her dossier and activities over the past seven months shows that she is ready to join the ranks of the Equites. Her absolute dominance in clan competitions and her innate ability to lead and motivate the members under her charge show that she has what it takes to make the next step in her DJB career.
Since her elevation to Knighthood seven months ago, Jai'de has been one of Clan Plagueis fiercest competitors. Her numbers during the Plagueis: Restoration events speak for themselves: During Round 1: Broken, Jai'de took first place in the Fiction and Gaming events, and third place in the Trivia Event. As a result, she took the overall top individual competitor spot, winning yet another crescent and earning a major highlight in the Clan fiction update. Not satisfied with winning just one round, she turned around and did the exact same thing during Round 2: Building. She once again took a top spot in the Gaming event, and with her top five finish in gaming she managed to pull off another individual event win, taking yet another crescent and another highlight in the Clan fiction! On top of the crescents earned for both of these events, she put up staggering numbers of Clusters, garnering over 1800 Clusters of Fire across 32 separate gaming submissions, and 15 Clusters of ice split over three fiction submissions. To put that into other terms, she wrote over 7500 words of fiction across only three fiction submissions. Absolutely amazing!
While her star shines as a competitor, her abilities as a leader are equally impressive. Jai'de has served in a leadership position at every level possible within the clan. She served as the Battle Team Leader for the Disciples of Dreypa for over two months, spurring activity within her battle team and showing unrelenting dedication to the members under her charge. Each week, Jai'de drafted an individual email to each member of her battle team, outlining each member's individual promotion requirements. These were not just simple cut-and-pastes from Promotheus, these were individually tailored emails that focused on what the member needed to do to get promoted, and guided those members to activities they were most likely to actually do. Jai'de knew her members, and knew them well. Her efforts led to multiple members gaining various Journeymen ranks, with some attaining the coveted lightsaber of the Knights! When the Apostles of Syn Battleteam leader was promoted to Aedile, Jai'de stepped in and took on the mantle of battle team leader while simultaneously holding down the Disciples of Dreypa. Allow me to say that again: Jai'de led two battle teams simultaneously for the better part of a month while the Clan Summit looked for a suitable replacement for the vacant BTL job. Her dedication to this club and its members knows absolutely no bounds!
As a result of her demonstrated ability to lead and her intense desire to guide the newest members of the DJB through the novice and journeyman ranks, Jai'de was selected to serve as the Rollmaster for Clan Plagueis. Assuming the role just prior to the start of the third round of Restoration, Jai'de showed her ability to not only guide but to also provide for the Clan's members. As a Clan summit member, she planned, co-organized, and graded the final round of Restoration, focusing on the Fiction, Graphics, and Battleplan events. As Rollmaster, she immediately reached out to newly assigned members of Plagueis, providing a welcoming email to each new member that highlighted what their first steps in the Club should be. She asked them what they were interested in, and attempted to link them up with like-minded older members of the Clan. Jai'de published monthly Rollmaster Reports, each highlighting the activities of the newer members, and providing an opportunity for the Battle Team Leaders to get practice in providing input to reports.
In short, there is absolutely nothing that Jai'de Serpens cannot do. She is a master of all trades, and she exemplifies the very best that the Dark Jedi Brotherhood has to offer. While real life has taken up much of her precious time, she still manages to stay active and engaged within the Clan. I personally count Jai'de as one of my real friends within this Club, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to show the rest of the Brotherhood what an awesome person and leader that she is.
In view of Jai'de's demonstrated potential for increased responsibility, I strongly recommend her for promotion to the grade of Equite 1. Congratulations, Jai'de!

We often talk in the Dark Brotherhood about how word-of-mouth recruitment is our greatest tool. I think Jai'de exemplifies this to the maximum. I first met Jai'de playing SW:TOR, and after nearly a year of nagging she finally joined up into Plagueis. At first it was just to have some shiny profile to sit the clusters she was earning by raiding regularly with us, but it soon turned into more than that. As Jai'de found out what we were all about, she went in a little deeper. Eventually she found herself as a battleteam leader in Plagueis: a position that we largely use for the acclamation, training, and upbringing of new journeymen into Plagueis and the Dark Brotherhood. This was a job that was, literally, second nature to her as it was very similar to her 9 to 5 job. Jai'de was amazing at it, getting journeymen who had been inactive for months to return and become active. It didn't take long for her to move up to rollmaster where she oversaw this for the whole clan. As rollmaster she was constantly engaging, challenging, and helping journeymen move along their path in the Brotherhood.
On top of her stints in leadership in Plagueis, she was active herself. Earning hundreds of clusters of earth, pendants of blood, participating in competitions, and helping to run competitions (notably the Restoration event) on top of her leadership duties are all examples of Jai'des progression from knight to the equite levels. I'm more than ecstatic to see someone who I not only recruited into the Dark Brotherhood make it to the equite levels, but who was also my apprentice, and most importantly someone I consider a great friend. Congratulations, Jai'de!
Teylas Ramar, 2015-11-30 22:35:17 UTC
What’s left to say about Jai’de that hasn’t been said time and time again in prior recommendations? She’s an amazing member, pure and simple. She took on both battle team leader jobs, effectively acting as Clan Rollmaster without any of the support of having BTL subordinates even before she eventually took the Rollmaster job. She really stepped up during the final phase of our Restoration event this summer, the most ambitious of them all. Her assistance in grading, organizing, and penning fiction updates for that competition were a godsend and really helped keep everything on track. And, on top of that, her time as Rollmaster was stellar. The email turn around for new members, the amount of engagement with them she provided, every aspect of her work in the position was absolutely fantastic. I’m happy to join the chorus of voices here calling for her advancement into the ranks of the Equites!

It is my distinct pleasure to be recommending a promotion to the rank of Hunter for Allistaire Von Drake.
Over the past 28 days she has participated in two competitions, bringing the total to five, of which she has placed in two. Her participation in the Clan’s event “Ashes Falls” has earned her over five Clusters of Ice, and has seen her Inquisitorius rank increase to three: Apprentice Inquisitor. Finally, In addition to her activity in our Clan’s runon, a Slice of Life, she has also increased her society ranking for the Shadow Academy to rank three: Sophomore.
All in all, Allistaire is a steady force of activity, who I am proud to see ascending the ranks of the Brotherhood. Congratulations Allistaire, keep it up!

In his 21 days at the rank of Sergeant, Harold has more than fulfilled the requirements to be promoted. Harold has logged into the DJB Voice Server, Participated in 14 competitions of which he placed in 1. His vigorous gaming has seen him reach Rank 3 in the Grand Masters Royal Guard as well as earn him 174 Clusters of Earth and has taken his first steps as a competition organizer by co-organizing 2 competitions (Matchmaking for Glory #7 and Casino Night(Pazaak)).
With this activity I recommend Harold for a promotion, congratulations dude and well deserved. Can't wait to see what else you can do!

Torin has been an excellent member of our Clan, boasting above average activity since day one. This has continued since he was Knighted, and in the six months since then he has earnt himself an Anteian Cross, 15 Clusters of Ice, 12 Clusters of Fire and 5 Clusters of Earth. Most notably is his drive to participate in as many things as he can; he has participated in 32 competitions, earning himself 2 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 8 Sapphire, 5 Emerald and 3 Topaz Crescents - quite an impressive collection.
He has impressed us with his efforts as a Journeyman, and continued to excel as a Knight; I have no doubt he will continue to be awesome as an Equite. Congratulations, Torin, I am promoting you to the first Equite rank.
