Elad has recently transferred into House Revan with the requirements for the rank of Jedi Hunter already met.

He earned Guardian over four and a half years ago - though he was present and active as a Guardian in Clan Scholae Palatinae for at least a year after earning the rank. He is registered for the forums and has joined conversations on IRC.

He has completed a leadership exam. He earned more than enough Clusters of Fire to meet the requirement for twenty-five. While he was serving as Battleteam Leader for the Nightshade Squadron, he proposed and ran a competition to develop a new motto for the Battleteam. He has won multiple crescents and has been awarded a Dark Cross for his devoted participation in the House Feud between the houses of Scholae Palatinae.

Since he has met the requirements for Jedi Hunter, I submit this (belated) promotion recommendation. Welcome to House Revan, Elad. We're looking forward to working with you on your final rank.

James Roberts-Brannigan has completed all the requirements for the rank of Guardian - and has done so at a blistering pace. His completion of a Wiki Audit of Revan's pages was offered as a MAA Task by Dash and completed quickly and efficiently. His work has outlined a few errors that will be corrected and helped identify elements of House history that needed better definition.

He has been an active participant in the House's IRC channel since his return to the club. He completed his order exam (Krath Core) with a 96% while he was still an Acolyte. His phenomenal scores on another ten exams (Sith Core, Runon Studies, Chamber of Justice I, Chamber of Justice II, GMRG History, Philosophy I, Philosophy II, Lightsaber Studies, Advanced Lightsaber Studies, and Combat Tactics II) and remarkable presence in competitions (Revan Trivia Ladder, [Voice] Extraction, [Voice] I Love Re-Runs, [Fist] Bag em and Tag em 2, and [Fist] BF2 CTF) have presented him as a knowledgeable and active individual in the House. He has earned a total of 21 Clusters of Fire so far.

His character information and history has been in development on his Wiki page. He designed and is in the process of running the competition "[Revan] The Colonization Project" with the assistance of the House Summit.

With the MAA task completed and all other requirements for the rank of Guardian put away in remarkable fashion, I submit my recommendation that James Singleton Roberts-Brannigan be given the rank of Guardian. I'm excited to see you constantly progress in the House and to watch the enthusiasm you have for the House as it builds.

Congratulations, James!

Reaver Tra'an Reith di Plagia
Primary reason

When many people think of Plagueis, they think of di'Plagia. The last of that name, Kal Vorrac, has done a masterful job of keeping the House running while in control, and then returned after his departure to continue contributing to it. Since his last Promotion nearly two years ago, he's earned Four Crescent with Topaz Stars, 6 Crescents with Emerald Stars, a Crescent with Diamond Star, 12 Clusters of Fire, 3 Seals of Defiance, 8 Clusters of Ice, 2 Seals of Bone, a Scroll of Foundation, 4 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, a Crescent with Sapphire Stars, and 3 Crescents with Quartz Stars. He earned his Clan Title, and a seal of loyalty for that same Clan.

He has earned a tremendous amount of respect from the various members whose recommendations are attached, and I can and will acquire more should you require it. He's served in multiple capacities, first as Quaestor of Setal Keto, and then later as Quaestor of House Plagueis after the disbanding of Clan Plagueis. He single handedly planned, wrote, and ran a multiple-event competition called "Reboot". It was one of the most successful competitions run after the consolidation into a House. Since his last promotion, including his time as Quaestor of Satal Keto he has run 33 competitions, not including his event for the recent IG's, or his writing for Shards of a Lingering Darkness.

To define it more specifically, he was Quaestor of Satal Keto for thirteen months, before the de-clanning of Plagueis on July 22nd 2010, and was appointed to Quaestor of HP four days later on the 26th of July, and was then Quaestor of HP for an additional nine months. That's two years of constant, consistent service to his Clan/House in a leadership role before stepping down. Most people make it six months to a year, eighteen on the outside. Furthermore, he did so without complaint, and with the intent to better his House/Clan. Service is his name, and this is one of many facets that proves it.

Unfortunately, his spree of activity finally came to a halt three months ago, and he had to step down to resolve issues in Real Life. After a two month-long hiatus, he returned and asked for work. He stepped into the BTL role, alleviating that from Unus Domus, and picked it up with speed and pride. He shaped Primus Pilus in his own image, and managed to prove that they could be brought into an active, happy group that consistently remains active and involved.

Kal is also currently involved in Shards of a Lingering Darkness, a three-house alliance/feud event designed to help encourage activity in HSP, IHR, and HP. His fiction has received praise from everyone else involved, and even those just observing. This is just the introductory post, of which there are three intermediate posts to come, and one ending post. It currently stands at 12 pages, and is growing longer as Kal is only half way done with it at the moment. Despite the massive amount of writing involved, he has released new competitions every two weeks for his Battle Team, and for Plagueis as a whole. More than that, he has vetted entries for other members, picked up the ACC Matchmaker, participated in 3 battles in the ACC 2v1, and is a powerhouse of representation.

At every point, he proves to be an active member, contributing to the stability of Plagueis and exceeding expectations at every turn. The one time in which he could not handle it, he passed along the mantle, only to return willingly to a lesser role when he had resolved the issues that led to his departure. He continues to serve with grace, humility, and dedication, which cannot be said of many who have tried the same in the past.

To address the point of the newest rule of promotion to Equite 3, Kal di'Plagia Vorrac has successfully raised not one, but three members who credit him as their Master. Unus Domus, Vivackus Kavon, and Mograine. Of these three, he has only received official credit for Vivackus. As such, I still have included their names because they consider him their Master due to the time and effort the put into helping them through their ranks and trials. He has received only a single scroll of foundation, and were it not for the fact that I consider his promotion to be more important, I would request two more for him.

I ask on his behalf, and without his knowledge, that he be considered for Equite 3, having proven that he has the skills, the knowledge, the drive, and the dedication to ascend further into darkness.

On a personal note, I am where I am now because of him. If not for his friendship, and the fact that he believed in me, I'd be rank and file or Rogue. When I was ready to be active again, he took me in, watched me settle in, and offered me a steady diet of challenge and opportunity, never giving me what I couldn't handle, and always being there to back me up. I owe him a lot, and I hope that when he gets this, he knows how many people really respect him and how hard he has busted his ass for Plagueis.

Adapt. Ascend. Avail! Kal was, and remains, a big help to Plagueis; when he was QUA of Satal Keto, he began instituting several things which were the reason that Plagueis managed to survive as a house; though my memory is not the best, I know that he began formalizing our MSP and began working on a program to help members new to the house and brotherhood alike. When he became Plagueis' QUA, he did even more; in addition to instituting both of those, he managed to stop, and even reverse to some extent, our downward momentum; I won't say he made Plagueis the best house in the Brotherhood. I will say he's the reason that Plagueis did not die out. When he returned to duty in the Brotherhood, he quickly took up the roles of Pilus Commander and Taskmaster, one dedicated to encouraging excellence, the other to teaching and guiding our new members, both being incredibly necessary. On a more personal note, Kal was responsible for my education till I became a Knight, and we both consider him to remain my unofficial master. He didn't focuse on shooting me up through the ranks till I got a saber; he focused on actually teaching me. I can say with absolute certainty that Kal has not only been a great influence on my experiences in the DJB, but in my real life, something I cannot say for anyone else in the Brotherhood. -Unus Domus, Roll Master of House Plagueis There is always that one member that everyone knows and everyone loves, usually. Plagueis has one such member, and people gravitate toward him like no other leader I've seen other than the Grand Master Muz. This member is our very own Kal Vorrac, and I can safely say without any question that I love this guy. He was Quaestor when I was Aedile, and if it weren't for him I can safely say my sanity would have slipped away and my old self would have returned with a raging passion. This man demanded that we as leaders of Plagueis open our eyes and swallow any distaste we had for members, he demanded that we do what actual leaders should do, that we be unbiased to people and reward those that actually deserved it.

Through him, we saw various changes take place in Plagueis. Some, if not most, were unpopular at first, but quickly people realized that what Kal was trying to do was create a level playing field for everyone. Journeyman were just as important as Equites and Elders in storylines, people were included, and the more one participated, the more one received. It may not sound like much to some, but to people like me, it was a wondrous thing to be apart of.

Not only was Kal a great leader, he was an amazing friend as well. He always took the time to listen and talk to the various members that needed it, like I needed it. He would talk to you, listen to you, not pass judgement, and when you were getting a little rowdy in #Plagueis, he would request that you stop and send you a warning, not just kick you from the Channel and then demean you in front of people. He was, in my opinion, one of the best QUA's I've had the pleasure of knowing, and definitely deserves this promotion.

-Sarak Shai, Former Aedile of House Plagueis

Firsts, I'd like to plainly congratulate Kal. He is a fantastic, sociable, devoted member of this club. I met him first while we were serving as Quaestors as he was trying to rebuild what he proudly refers to as the "Ascendant House," restructuring to fight off the same low activity that has affected everyone lately. It was a pleasure to work alongside him during that time, just as it's a pleasure to work with him now. Kal has committed himself to being the lynchpin of an interhouse run-on that has helped spur on activity in all three of the participating Houses. While I've only been able to watch most of his activity from afar, he has certainly remained a standard in Plagueis as a Battlemaster, as a member of the di Plagia, as a competitive member in the House and club throughout competitions, and a fantastic participant in the club at large. I heartily endorse the promotion of this man to the third tier of Equitedom - he has earned the right to be called a Sith Battlelord. I expect to hear much more from him as he continues on in the club.

OT Eiko Quaestor, House Revan

In my time as a member of Plagueis and in its Clan and House leadership there has been one constant. Consuls, including myself, have come and gone, members have joined and left, but Kal di Plagia Vorrac has been here, and not just idle. He has been the only source of consistent leadership and membership in the history of Clan and House Plagueis. In all honesty, I should be writing a recommendation to promote him to Warlord right now, but he has, for a reason unknown to everyone, slipped through the cracks. He gives his time and effort without expectation of any kind of reward. I know this recommendation is not going to be factored into his promotion, but I want to make it known, as a former Consul of Plagueis, that this promotion is WAY overdue.

~ Alaris Jinn di Plagia, Right Hand of Justice

I have known Kal since before the removal of clans and he has always been one of the greatest members. He was not my master but he might as well have been. Kal helped me with almost everything I've done for the Brotherhood. Kal read all my written things as well as critiqued my graphics. He advised me on my path to Knighthood and still reminds me of the things I can do to advance as a member.

Not only does Kal deserve this prestigious rank, but it would be almost criminal not to promote him. I can't think of a more deserving member in House Plagueis and I'm glad that I can see the advancement of a great Dark Jedi.

~Furios, Member of House Plagueis

Kal is one of those unsung heroes of the Brotherhood who knows his abilities and works to the best of them without overreaching himself. He's a legend unto himself in Plagueis and has seen the House through the best and worst of times. A huge factor in leadership is consistency, and Kal has this in spades. His members were able to always look on him as a consistent person and were comforted by that, which in turn garnered loyalty and stability. I am absolutely sure that if it weren't for Kal, Plagueis would've closed down by now. His writing ability is excellent, and he has demonstrated this both in numerous ROs (in and out of Plagueis) and in the ACC, where he fought valiantly in the 2v1 and has even participated in the Matchmaker event more recently. Kal definitely deserves this boon and it is my great pleasure to approve it. Congrats, man.

"I’d like to recommend for Kal di Plagia Vorrac to the rank of EQ3 – or Sith Battlelord. There’s several reasons for why I’d recommend him for the promotion, but mostly it’s because of his dedication to the improve his surroundings in the Brotherhood. For as long as I can remember, Kal’s always been about helping both the growth of his Clan/House and that of individual members. He was my guide and mentor from when I really became active in this society until the day writing this report, and he’s still one that I always can reach out to to ask for advice in any issues I might have. I’m not the only one in the pack, and I know that a large group of people can thank him personally for making the Brotherhood a good investment of their time. In doing this he’s also been helping the Clan/House and the Brotherhood when viewed from a major perspective – in bringing forth the next line of active members and leaders of the Dark Brotherhood.

In the recent year he’s also done a lot more distinctive work with the present House Plagueis, which has undergone a large reform during the past year. In leading the reform of the House, we’ve seen that it has slowly grown from a Clan with a lot of unwritten paperwork (for example the wiki articles) to a House with real quality background and history. The roster list has also gone from being the “Brotherhood’s graveyard” to become a place for active and prospective members that truly have a bright future coming in this community. That’s said, my finishing words in this recommendations will be to describe Kal with a few words – “Others first”, while these words of self-sacrifice is more describing a Jedi trait, it’s really telling the truth about him. He always strive to help others before himself, and I think it’s time he got something back – he’s a Sith afterall."

-- Mograine Sith Warrior Grand General of the Jusadih Armed Forces

<I>Jedi Hunter Kant Lavar sat motionless, facing Dajorra's falling sun, eyes half-closed and straining to watch its dying rays.<BR><BR>  Upon the creation of his lightsaber, he had been brought here by the Consul, personally, to a circular dais atop Arcona Citadel on Selen. It was the first time he had been allowed to the Ziggurat's upper levels: the Holy of Holies of Clan Arcona, where its greatest secrets lay. And, he suspected, if he failed in his tasks, it might well be the last time.<BR><BR>  The last rays dipped beneath the horizon, and a final ray of light seemed to linger, just moments, on the Jedi Hunter's face.<BR><BR>  It had been an apparently easy task: Meditate, without calling upon the Dark Side, without food or drink, with the sun full in the sky, from dawn to dusk. The Consul had given a simple but forceful warning as the Jedi Hunter had set himself down for meditation: Failure to obey would be met with death. After that, the Clan's leader had requisitioned the Journeyman's lightsaber and left him to his own devices.  Darkness creeped forward as the sun finally disappeared, cloaking the Journeyman in shadow. Night had fallen.<BR><BR>  Wordlessly, the Jedi Hunter stood and turned around.  Figures, robed, with lightsabers in-hand, stood upon the ziggurat, apparently waiting. Kant Lavar recognized many of them: Arconae, Summit and other luminaries, each important within the Clan. Still others stood silent and hooded, wordless and hidden. And before them all stood Zandro Savric Erinos Arconae, Lord of the Shadow Clan.<BR><BR>  "Jedi Hunter Kant Lavar," intoned the Consul, "you have come before us seeking to be elevated, have you not?"<BR><BR>  Kant Lavar nodded, eyes downcast. "I have, Master".<BR><BR> "Then understand that any hesitation, any disobedience, any defiance will result in death. Do you?"<BR><BR>  Again, the Jedi Hunter gave a nod, more cautiously this time. This elevation seemed unlike any other trial within the Clan…there was an unspecified sense that told him that his very life was at stake, here. Around, the gathered Arconans seemed to tense just slightly, and fingers hovered over an activation button. "I do, Master."<BR><BR>  "Very well then," said the Consul. "What makes you believe you are ready to become one of us?"<BR><BR>  An easy question, to begin with. "I have finished all tasks set before me by the Summit, and brought each to a good end."<BR><BR>  "Oh?" the Consul snarled, suddenly, as his face contorted with disgust. "You mean the construction of this trinket?"<BR><BR>  Zandro Savric Erinos Arconae reached within the folds of his robe, taking out a small cylinder.<BR><BR>  Kant Lavar recognized it instantly. It was his lightsaber.<BR><BR>  The Jedi Hunter looked at the Consul, shocked. "Yes," he said weakly, as Zandro Savric Erinos Arconae weighed the weapon in his hand.<BR><BR>  The Consul snorted contemptuously, and tossed the weapon off the ziggurat without so much as another glance.<BR><BR>  "No!" Kant Lavar screamed, heedless of protocol. There, tumbling through the air, was a work of months: Something that the Jedi Hunter had poured his heart, his soul, and all his skill with the Dark Side in to create. And it was about to be unceremoniously destroyed by another's hand. It felt like someone ripping out his heart.<BR><BR>  And suddenly, that void within his chest was filled with anger. And power.<BR><BR>  Kant Lavar reached out a hand as fury spilled into his eyes and face, all propriety forgotten. The weapon abruptly reversed course, flashing to life before it had even finished settling in his hand. In a single, fluid motion, the Jedi Hunter ran through his Consul with the shimmering blade of his own making. <BR><BR> The Consul seemed puzzled for a moment, as he stared at the Journeyman. Then, a smile appeared on his face. "Very well," Arcona's ruler managed to get out, before collapsing into shadow. <BR><BR>  Kant Lavar looked around, expecting the gathered Arconans to reach for him any moment now, but no such attack seemed forthcoming. Instead, the Arconae and Summit had their lightsabers still in-hand…but they appeared overall more relaxed, and some were even smiling. <BR><BR>  "Congratulations," a voice said. <BR><BR>  </I>But..no! That's impossible!<I> thought the Jedi Hunter, as one of the previously hooded figures removed said hood…only to show the face of Consul Zandro Savric Erinos Arconae. <BR><BR>  Then, comprehension dawned. </I>Of course. A Force Wraith.<I><BR><BR>  The Consul approached him, seemingly without fear or tension. "You have learned the final lesson of the Dark Side." <BR><BR>  " It's…about power, isn't it?" Kant Lavar ventured. <BR><BR>  "It's </I>always<I>about power," the Consul replied, smiling slightly. "But yes. The final lesson is this: Power is never given away. It is always taken. If someone should block your path, strike him down. Even if that someone is me." <BR><BR>  The Jedi Hunter nodded, comprehension dawning. Around him, the gathered Arconans lit their weapons, one by one. Around the ziggurat itself, on lower levels, others responded in kind, until the night sky was lit by dozens of separate weapons. <BR><BR>  "So…what will it be?" Zandro Savric Erinos Arconae asked, bringing forth a lightsaber of his own. "Do you claim the mantle of the Dark Jedi Knight?" <BR><BR>  Kant Lavar understood. Nodding slowly, he lit his lightsaber and raised it high. A hundred Arconans followed suit.<BR><BR>  Triumphant and ascendant, the newly frocked Dark Jedi Knight was first to shout as a hundred sabers pierced the sky:<BR><BR>  "ARCONA INVICTA!"</I><BR><BR>  I,Timeros Caesus Entar Arconae, hereby request a promotion for Jedi Hunter Kant Lavar, who has fulfilled all requirements for promotion under the Dark Jedi Brotherhood's promotion guidelines, as follows:<BR><BR>  Kant Lavar has been a Jedi Hunter for over six weeks.<BR><BR>  Kant Lavar has earned an Anteian Cross for his services. <BR><BR>  Kant Lavar has earned a Crescent with Ruby Star for his competition activity. <BR><BR>  Kant Lavar has participated in the following five competitions: Black Tempest Feud Run-On, "Contingencies I" battleplan event in the Ninth Great Jedi War, Clan Arcona Caption Competition, Baneshade activity competition, "Prophecy" song of war, 3 events in the 2008 independence games, 5 events in the 9th Great Jedi War, 2 events in the Disorder Vendetta, <BR><BR>  Kant Lavar has completed the following two Shadow Academy Leadership Exams: Leadership Studies and Conflict Mediation<BR><BR>  Kant Lavar has created and run the following competition: "Memories"<BR><BR>  Kant Lavar has performed the following major House Task: Kant has spent several months leading the Prophecy Phyle<BR><BR>
