Every year on May 4th, we award Seals of Loyalty to members nominated by the DC and Consuls--typically one per DC, two per CON. Normally I would have asked for those nominations last week, but this year we're doing something different. In November 2015 (we used to do SoLs twice a year), eagerly awaiting the release of The Force Awakens, Sarin awarded SoLs to all Clanned and positioned members in the club. This year, we're taking a page out of Sarin's book: every member of the club who has logged into the website between January 1, 2025 and May 4, 2025 will receive a Seal of Loyalty. That this club has not just lasted but thrived for 30 years is a remarkable testament to our community, the leaders at all levels who have kept the ship on course, and especially our members who keep engaging year after year. Zeon Blacktooth is a member who has stuck with Clan Odan-Urr through many changes, and across many Houses. Remaining with this group from the transition to Sunrider, and then Sunrider to the Guardians, all without slowing in his activities. Since his last award in 2021, he has participated in forty-seven competitions, a staggering amount for any person, and netted one Crescent with Emerald Star. Building upon this, he has also commented upon reports various times to offer his own views, and passed two Department of Legends courses with flying colours. For all that he has given to the Guardians, I suggest that he be awarded a Dark Cross.
