<I>Acolyte Driftan Housan stood quietly on the stage in the meeting hall of House Qel-Droma, in front of the entirety of its membership, along with the friends and allies he had made throughout the Clan.
His Quaestor, Legorii rose from his seat on the stage and the soft conversations diminished to silence.<br><br>
"Acolyte, you have proven yourself yet again and have come to this place to be recognized in front of your brethren. Is this correct?"<BR><BR>
"Yes, Master," the Acolyte said and bowed. <BR><BR>
"Then kneel," the Quaestor ordered as the Acolyte acknowledged the command and took a knee before him. <BR><BR>
“Today, the Summit recognizes Acolyte Driftan Housan and has, by consensus, willed that he be recognized as a Protector.“
The Quaestor lifted his hand and drew energy from the room around him and formed a shadow that seemed to ooze its way over the Acolyte, covering him in darkness. <BR><BR>
"Light is limited," spoke the Quaestor. <br><br>
"Darkness is infinite," said the Acolyte. <BR><BR> "Then as such, Protector Driftan Housan, rise and accept your new station within your Clan."<BR><BR> The applause was thunderous as the newly elevated Protector rose and faced his brethren. He raised his arm and shouted, <BR><BR> "ARCONA INVICTA!" <BR><BR></I> I would hereby like to request a promotion for Acolyte Driftan Housan, who has currently fulfilled all requirements for promotion under the Dark Jedi Brotherhood's promotions guidelines, as follows:<BR><BR He has completed and had approved a valid character history.<BR> He has graduated at five additional exams, those being: Force Cults, Leadership Studies, History of the Sith Empire I, History of the Sith Empire II, and History of the Sith Empire III <br>

<I>Novice Driftan Housan stood in the meeting room of his House, where a large number of his Housemates were gathered, seated before him. As the Novice's Quaestor stood, the Novice took a knee before him.<BR><BR>
The Novice's Quaestor, Legorii, raised a hand and conjured a dark mass of vapor, a coherent patch of darkness.<BR><BR>
"As your superior in the Dark Brotherhood, I personally attest to your achievements and am proud to confer on you the rank of Acolyte. With this elevation you have earned the right to step to the next pillar of strength and knowledge within Clan Arcona and the Brotherhood of Dark Jedi." <BR><BR>
The shadow fell from his hand over the Novice shrouding him as the Quaestor spoke again.<BR><BR>
"Light is limited."<BR><BR>
"Darkness is infinite."<BR><BR>
"Rise, Driftan Housan, an Acolyte of Clan Arcona."<BR><BR>
The applause filled the chamber as the newly promoted Acolyte stood and chanted:<BR><BR>
"ARCONA INVICTA!"<BR><BR></I>
I would hereby like to request a promotion for Novice Driftan Housan, who has currently fulfilled all requirements for promotion under the Dark Jedi Brotherhood's promotion guidelines, as follows:<BR><BR>
Driftan Housan has graduated the SA Basics exam.<BR><BR>
He has also performed the following three activities:<BR>
He has logged onto IRC and visited his Clan channel.<BR>
He has registered on the DJB Forums.<BR>
He has participated in Qel-Droma report trivia.<BR>

To Driftan: as promised, now that you have gained the rank of Acolyte, you are entitled to hearing our next set of promotion requirements. To become a Protector, you must:<br><br>

-Five Shadow Academy Exams, in addition to those needed to become an Acolyte.<br>

-Compete in any Dark Brotherhood competition. If you are unaware of any competitions, feel free to email your Summit.<br>

-Participate in a total of three competitions.<br>

-Earn five Clusters of Fire.<br>

-Complete your Character Sheet and the ACC Basics Exam (which can also count as one of the SA Courses for promotion).<br>

The young Apprentice fell to one knee as the Quaestor, Legorii, raised his hand. A small shadow creeped from underneath the outstretched appendage and descended on the Apprentice. <BR><BR>
"Light is limited, young one," the leader spoke. <BR><BR> "Darkness is infinite, my master," spoke the Apprentice as the shadow fell upon him, to be absorbed by the Dark Jedi.<BR><BR>
"Congratulations, Driftan Housan. You have taken a step further into the Dark Side of the Force. You have attained the rank of Novice, and are now fully a part of the Brotherhood. Stand and be recognized, a Novice.“<BR><BR>
The newly promoted Novice stood and facedhis brethren. Those in attendance applauded and as one, they spoke,<BR><BR>
"ARCONA INVICTA!"<BR><BR></I>
I would hereby like to request a promotion for Apprentice Driftan Housan, who has currently fulfilled all requirements for promotion under the Dark Jedi Brotherhood's promotions guidelines, as follows:<BR><BR>
<B>Perform a single, basic DJB activity beyond the Test of Lore, such as creation of your Character History or partcipation in a competition.</B><BR><BR>
Driftan has connected with his Clanmates on IRC, and is well on his way to ascending further in the ranks. <BR><BR>As Driftan Housan has fulfilled this requirement, I would like to respectfully request his promotion to Novice. <BR><BR>
