The recently concluded The Enemy Below event was an opportunity for members of Plagueis to stand up and showcase their talents. One member who took advantage of this occasion is Vanessa Rhode, entering 10 competitions , able to secure a single placement in each of the three weeks. She played a part in helping to guide her team to victory. In total, Vanessa has entered 14 competitions and picked up 3 Crescents with Emerald Stars. In our recent threeway Aftermath event with Tarentum and Arcona, Vanessa Rhode stepped up to the plate and contributed to the Clan’s overall performance. Her 11 unique submissions were integral to our recent tie to Clan Tarentum. She was also one of the highest contributing members of House Ajunta Pall, something with which this member should take pride in. In total since her last recognition, she has participated in 16 competitions and 4 fiction activities.

Knighthood is the final step on the path of any journeyman, and Vanessa has now cleared all the required gateways for elevation to the penultimate Journeyman Rank. Over the past year, Vanessa has diligently worked to knock down all of her knighthood requirements, all while balancing her club activities with an incredibly busy personal life.
Since her promotion to Hunter in July of 2015, Vanessa has earned two merit awards (Anteian Cross and Dark Cross), a handful of competition crescents (two Amethyst, two Sapphire, one Emerald, and one Topaz), Earned 25 Clusters of Fire and 10 Clusters of Earth, Co-organized a competition, and participated in 34.
Vanessa is one of Plagueis' best members, always taking part in clan conversations and giving her absolute best in events, whenever and however she can. It is my honor and privilege to recommend her for promotion to the rank of Knight.

Our recently completed Plagueis Pro Bowl clan feud offered all of our members the chance to step up into a high stakes, high activity competitive environment. Vanessa Rhode answered that call while entering 12 of the possible 30 events that were offered. She achieved second place finishes in the Prologue Puzzle and Week 1 Word Search competitions as well as a third place in Week 2 Puzzle. Her performance during the feud earned her a pair of Sapphire crescents and one Amethyst crescent. Her efforts aided her team’s success, earning her the thanks of Clan Plagueis.

Vanessa Rhode has been one of our hardest working journeymen since her return from the rogues at the very end of 2015. Since then, she’s racked up an impressive amount of competitive success. In that time, she has participated in twenty-one competitions and gained three crescents (one each of amethyst, emerald, and topaz). More important than just the number of competitions, however, was where that participation happened. During our recent feud with Clan Odan-Urr, Vanessa entered six of the eleven events, placing third in week one graphics, fourth in multimedia, sixth in round two puzzle, seventh in round one gaming, and eighth in puzzle. Or, in other words, 83% of her entries generated placements points for Clan Plagueis in our feud. Vanessa has also been active in the gaming sphere, earning twenty five clusters of fire and five clusters of earth as well. Her zealous nature to succeed and remarkable overall activity level during Between Light and Dark show her to be very deserving of this award.

Vanessa has been one of Plagueis’ core members since she returned to us. In the recent feud she participated in an impressive six out of eleven events, placing third in graphics and earning herself a crescent. But Vanessa had been active even before the feud, having participated in around 21 competitions over all, earning three crescents in the process. She has also earned 25 Clusters of Fire and 5 Clusters of Earth. This is extremely impressive for someone who is still a Hunter, and I know that we will be seeing more from Vanessa in the near future. Congratulations on your Anteian Cross, Vanessa! You’ve earned it!
