Tasha is the Blue to my Owen (Insert gratuitous Jurassic World reference here). Tasha has been part of my Summit as a Battleteam Sergeant to the Night Raptors Battleteam for the past three months and has participated in twenty two competitions, placing in seven of them. In addition to this, Tasha has garnered three Pendants of Blood, one hundred and sixty six Clusters of Fire, ten Clusters of Ice and fifty eight Clusters of Earth. Added to this, Tasha has written almost five thousand words of fiction. In our recent Clan event, Awakenings, Tasha came fourth overall, beating out many of our veteran members. These are just her shinies though and don't tell you about the person. Tasha is as I said, the Blue to my Owen. She has gone out of her way to assist me on several projects, notably the wiki rewrite of our House ship, the Retribution and the associated squadrons. She created the wiki pages for two of our Squadrons and created twenty four NPCs for them. As well as this, Tasha has created a series of “In character interviews” that have been well received by our members and they have fought to be the next member to be interviewed.

In her role as Battleteam Sergeant, Tasha has fought to keep the newly reopened Night Raptors open when activity fell. Despite the Night Raptors falling to four members, Tasha, in tandem with Armad, recruited three new members to the team, saving it from closure.

Tasha is my most active member in Marka Ragnos and is the one person I would recommend others to emulate. Despite not being picked as Battleteam Leader of Shadow Bane when the position was open, Tasha's humility and willingness to learn and help others moved me. She is selfless and a true, blue, Sadowan. I don't know what I would do without Blue on my team. For all of our hard work these past few months, I would like to award Tasha with a Steel Cross. Congratulations, you're my girl, Blue!

Tasha is one of our bright new members in Naga Sadow. Other recommendations here will cover her activity and other tangible things, but I would like to touch on her intangible contributions to Naga Sadow. Tasha brings a light-hearted and upbeat atmosphere to the clan, to the point where if she has sent an email to the mailing list it is nice to click on just for the sake of reading something different and interesting. Her interview series, where her character fictionally interviews members of the clan, has not not only been good for laughs, but also helped the clan learn about each other, since it includes details about each member. She has also done art for our members on a whim, and although this is an impromptu thing, it is always fun to see what she comes up with.

Tasha is an invaluable member to Naga Sadow. She is not only active and a leader, but also personally goes out of her way to make the clan more interesting for everyone beyond her normal responsibilities, and that is something that is not as common as one might think. Thanks Tasha, and congratulations on this award!

Tasha is the kind of member you want in your unit. Other people will go into the details above, so I will focus on what I have personally seen with her. She is a force that has done great things. She has worked very closely with my on creating and updating wiki pages for some of Houses squadron. She has always presented completed projects quickly and rarely needed direction. During all this heavy work she managed to remain involved in clan event, and create her own unique brand of entertainment for the clan through comedic interviews. She is constantly coming up with new ideas and willing to listen to some and throw them around to get the most out of them. She approachable and always in good spirits. We need more people like her. This award is overdue in my opinion and I am glad I can be part of it. Thank you very much for your service Tasha.

Tasha’Vel Versea is one of those members that all you can say about her is: wow! She exemplifies what it means to be an active member. She has been constantly looking for things to do within the Battleteam, House or Clan. When she is given a task, she will complete it efficiently and quickly. She has been striving to get current members to join the ranks of the battleteam that she is a Sergeant in, and was able to get one to join us. Since becoming my Battleteam Sergeant she has been working with me towards creating a continuing lore for the battleteam, looking to help blend the old lore with the new. She has also been doing “Sit Down Interviews.” Where she has an “interview” with a Clan member that she types up and distributes out to the Clan email. For her drive I recommend that she be awarded this Steel Cross.

Primary reason

Tasha has been one of those little miracles that happen every so often. For example, double stuffed oreos, the success of Episode VII and of course, my personal favourite. When I catch Mewtwo in a Great Ball.

Since her last award, Tasha has served as Aedile of Marka Ragnos for 17 days and as Quaestor for a month and a half. During that time as Aedile, I trained her to become my replacement. I encouraged her to grow, move out of her comfort zone and to push herself harder than before. I’d like to think that I was successful in doing so, because she took to the role of Quaestor quicker than I did my first time.

Tasha has continued to galvanise her House, engaging both the many veterans, such as Muz and Macron and the newer members, such as Darkhawk and Ophelia who recently joined us. Marka Ragnos has always been a difficult House to lead and so far I’ve heard nothing but good things from its members. Tasha is warm, approachable, eager to help and assist and wastes no time in utilising members’ skills.

Now onto the numbers game. Since her last award, Tasha has organised three competitions, and has organised a further House event, that is running at the moment called Rest and Relaxation Marka Ragnos Style. Tasha has also participated in 26 competitions and earned 633 Clusters of Fire, 3 Clusters of Ice and 254 Clusters of Earth along with a Pendant of Blood. She has participated in 37 PVP matches and 130 PVE matches. Add to this the 1169 words of fiction she has written for fiction events and the other 2400 words she had written for Operation: Firestorm.

Tasha has a difficult job as Quaestor, making sure that her members are happy, occupied and rewarded. Despite only being my Aedile for 2 months beforehand, I’m proud to see how well she is doing in being a provider rather than a consumer. I look forward to seeing Tasha go far, potentially even being Consul of Naga Sadow one day in the future.

Ol’ Blue, or just plain Blue as I call her, has also undertaken a wiki project to update the horrendously out of date HMR wiki pages that we identified as needing work and has put work down to several members to ensure it is completed more swiftly. She is also part of our Upper Summit, where her opinions and ideas are solicited on a daily basis by Locke and I as we continue to push Naga Sadow forward.

Naga Sadow would be a duller, quieter and less friendly place without Tasha and her exuberance. Her drive to help others, willing to jump in and play some Pazaak or JA, offer a member a battle in the ACC or talk them through how they can work towards their next promotion. Tasha has become my successor in Marka Ragnos and I’m pleased at her positive attitude to always push for the gold.

Congratulations, Tasha

Additional reasons

Tasha is about as upbeat and outgoing of a member as I've seen and that's a great thing to have around, 'especially when you report to a half(mostly?)insane Sith Lord as your boss.

Aside from being a hardworking Quaestor and a constant participant, Tasha is always friendly. That may sound a tad cliche, but she's like the opposite of a PR nightmare. Tasha is, in my experience, always polite and friendly with members of other Clans, with members of CNS, with anyone in the DJB. She's patient and willing to work with just about everyone.

Unrelated to that, she's managed to make or help make CNS veterans and Elders in Marka Ragnos want to do stuff again, and some of us have been trying to figure that one out for years! Under Tasha's leadership, the oldest House in CNS continues to flourish and grow.

Tasha also games. A lot. Her and Bentre (who I spoke of in my rec for him) have lately led CNS in kicking everyone's ass in gaming. We might not win the most (or a lot), we might not have the best gamers, but our people have fun doing it and enjoy the experience. That's what matters most, and I don't think we would have that without Tasha. A quick check of her dossier shows thay she has earned 633 CFs and 254 CEs since her last award, and in all of those that I was around for she brought as many members along with her as she could and was positive and upbeat about the experience.

So, personally, what I most appreciate about Tasha is that she is outgoing, she is friendly and nice to everyone. She'll work with everyone. She has invigorated activity where I have failed. She's led the Clan into an area it historically did little in with her gaming efforts. Thus, I'm proud to add my recommendation for her to receive this award.

Congratulations, Tasha!

Consul of Naga Sadow

Epis Locke Sonjie, 2016-04-19 06:06:26 UTC

There is a lot that can be said. I will leave others to wax philosophical on her merits and hit on what most sticks out to me about her. She has worked quickly and hard since joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. She worked with Sang as an Aedile, worked even harder since becoming the Quaestor of Marka Ragnos. She keeps the needs of her House and Clan in her decisions. She does what she can to ensure her members have fun. She has taken time to bounce ideas with me, and always has time to help members in need. She puts in time and effort above and beyond what most members see or might even believe. Truly admirable.

With each step upward and forward she has lost none of her energy or fervor. I hope that she continues to improve and never loses her passion for her Clan or for people. I am glad to add my voice in this recommendation.

Aedile of Shar Dakhan

Adept Bentre Stahoes, 2016-04-19 06:07:25 UTC

Tasha has been at the forefront of so much since I came to CNS that I instantly adored her way of doing things. She is kind, cares about her members and will do almost anything to ensure that those around her are happy and come first in every situation.

When I joined the Clan she was one of the first to welcome me and helped me settle in. We worked together and her enthusiasm for everything came across so strong I knew I found someone I wanted to work with. Upon being selected as her Aedile upon her ascension to Quaestor I truly felt as if I had found my home.

Apart from working upon numerous projects for the house including getting our wikis updated she also stormed ahead in the recent Clan events. In the run on alone she managed to keep the team going and got everyone involved from elders to journeymen utilising her knowledge of her house mates the best way she could to get maximum results. Placing herself in a few of the competitions as well as storming ahead in the gaming.

Recently she achieved GMRG rank XI and has been setting an amazing precedent for CNS gaming. On top of this she worked with me to create the recent House Event, Rest and Relaxation House Marka Ragnos style.

On top of all these things she has dealt with her own personal illness and hospitalisation. This didn't stop her. In fact she was on doing reports, running competitions and being as much of a clan presence as she ever was.

It's for these reasons and many more to come I am honoured to recommend her for this award.

Well done and thank you boss.

Ophelia

Tasha. My apprentice. It fills me with pride every time that I get to write you one of these. You're a shining example of what a motivated member can do if they keep a positive attitude, step into that ring every day and just bring their Agame.

You've gone from Aedile to Quaestor without missing a beat, and you've improved yourself at every step. Your devotion to your members, whom you consider as your family, has only increased from the time when you were just a wee apprentice. You've helped our gaming stats reach an all time high, and you're part of the reason that your House has a great fictional direction.

I'm proud to help you achieve this award. Congratulations apprentice!

Rollmaster of Naga Sadow

Marcus Kiriyu, 2016-04-19 06:09:30 UTC

I would like to take the time to recommend Tasha to you for recognition. She recently became QUA of House Marka Ragnos, and her work is good. She busts her tail in competitions. She puts out nice and thorough reports. She is on top of rewarding her charges and creating competitions for them to play in. We expect these things from leaders and she delivers. Others can detail the statistics. I'd like to talk about her care and leadership.

What’s cool about Tasha is her depth of personality and profound care for the people in this House and Clan. She really does look out for those under her care. She has made it a point to engage the Elders and longterm Equites in the House and I’ve seen more activity from them recently than I have in years. That is great! We have fiery youngsters and older members who are getting their hands dirty again. It’s a wonderful combination.

I really got to know her in this last Clan runon competition, “The World Is Not Enough.” Tasha was a real pleasure to write with. She was welcoming of me stepping in and helping out with the runon coordination. She welcomed my help with fictions. It felt really nice to be seen as a valued member with something to contribute and that made me eager to help. I think Marka Ragnos is in a really good place with her at the helm and it can only get better from here.

Tasha, Congratulations on your award. You seriously deserve it.

Adept Macron Goura Sadow, 2016-04-19 06:10:33 UTC

Tasha! My in character rival, but real life respected acquaintance. Tasha has been around for awhile now, and watching her grow through the leadership ranks is a pleasant view.

She has taken to her position of Quaestor very well, having to immediately seek out a replacement Aedile and proceed with a Clan event. Immediately after Operation: Firestorm, Tasha announced a House only event which she worked fervently on to produce on time for her members.

Her devotion and dedication to the Clan and her House is inspiring to see, and no matter what she comes across, she is patient and looks to resolve any problems that might arise with complete honesty and with great care.

Congratz on your recognition, it is wonderful to see you growing so well into your role as Quaestor Tasha!

Tasha'Vel was my predecessor as quaestor this run around, and while her hectic life is what gave her the impetus to resign her commission, she has still found the time to get involved with the House and our projects. Advising and putting her mark where she can on the Ragnos rebuild, she has been an invaluable aide to myself and others. In addition, Tasha has been holding down the gaming front pretty ferociously in Naga Sadow, which has not really been one of our traditional strong suits. Accumulating 22 crescents and 404 combined clusters of fire and earth, she has been an inspiration to others, to show people that we don't have to hold to the old stereotypes. Her willingness to drag people into the gaming scene in the club is a great thing, and will help make the clan a bit more competitive on that front. It is for this persistent and exceptional activity that I am requesting a Steel Cross for Tasha'Vel Versea, as both a token of our gratitude and as thanks for her continued efforts to better the house and clan. Thank you. ~Muz Ashen, the Lion of Tarthos

Additional reasons

I don't have much to say that hasn't been said. Tasha was my QUA before retiring. She's been active in gaming earning a large sum of clusters in the gaming competitions, primarily Star Conflict alongside her spouse.

It's good to see her come back after her busy life took over and succeed. Well done Tasha on your achievements.

Warden Kojiro Keibatsu Sadow, 2017-01-10 13:35:11 UTC

Despite having to step down, Tasha'Vel has continued to remain active in both gaming and she remains a positive force in the Clan's Telegram channel. Life can be busy, but she continues to drive gaming, and still looks for ways she can help the Clan out, despite lacking an official leadership position in the Clan. For her positive attitude, willingness to assist in projects as mentioned by Muz- and continued perseverance, I want to add my voice in recommendation for this Steel Cross!

Adept Bentre Stahoes, 2017-01-10 22:42:05 UTC

Ahh, Blue...

What can I say? Other than keep working hard and making me proud. Tasha has been with Naga Sadow a couple of years now and I'm pleased that she and Bentre joined us. They're a team and they work hard. Tasha has always been willing to get involved, include others and help me out in any way possible. Her activity is always solid and I rely on her to help Naga Sadow's weakness in gaming.

Congratulations, Blue!

Professor Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar, 2017-01-14 23:35:20 UTC

It's my honor to write this award recommendation for Tasha. She continues to be a great member to have around in Naga Sadow. While she has long stepped down as Quaestor of Marka Ragnos, she continues to be an active member of the community. Tasha doesn't have an official leadership position at the moment, but she tenaciously continues to seek ways she can help and make the club a more fun place for those around her.

Her activity is top notch, and reflects her dedication to the club. She has participated in 40 competitions since her last recognition, and has earned a wealth of awards. This includes 22 Crescents: one Emerald, seven Sapphire, 6 Amethyst, and a whopping 8 Ruby. She has also earned a wide array of clusters, including 94 of Fire, 7 of Ice, and 266 of Earth. Tasha's activity is highlighted by her participation team events. She has participated in 15 straight Star Conflict competitions since her last recognition, and placed in 13 of them. In all of those, other CNS members have placed along with her. This is huge for the Clan and its gaming cohort.

I'd like to add my congratulations for her earning this award. Although she became too busy to continue as Quaestor, Tasha continues to be an active and dedicated member of the Clan. We really appreciate her!

I would like to recommend the Steel Cross of the Dark Side to Tasha’Vel for her accomplishments during the past 6 months. Starting off with the Great Jedi War XII, she participated in 20 of the 27 competitions, placing in 3 of the gaming competitions, and during those she took part in 73 PvP and 5 PvE matches. She participated in 3 fictions competitions with a total of 1338 words written, as well as managing to get 3 posts written for the RO competition for 1005 words. After the war ended, Tasha’Vel came away with 1 Pendant of Blood, 246 Clusters of Fire, 5 Clusters of Ice, 44 Clusters of Earth, 16 Clusters of Graphite and 20 Seals of Wrath. Before that, she participated in 15 competitions, of which she took part in 20 PvP and 13 PvE matches. She participated in a Poetry competition over the summer that she placed 4th in. Before the War, Tasha’Vel was able to garner 4 Crescents, 2 Amethyst Stars, 1 Sapphire Star, and 1 Emerald Star. 114 Clusters of Fire, 91 Clusters of Earth, and 5 Clusters of Graphite were also obtained. She had been a Wiki Staff Member for the past 6 months and a Battleteam Leader for the past 3 months. To top it all off, she wrote 3 Battleteam reports, as well as chatting with members of the Clan encouraging them to participate in as many competitions that they could, and being a frequent commentator on news posts.

Additional reasons

Tasha is one of the cornerstones of Marka Ragnos. When I joined she was Aedile, then Quaestor and even though life took over she was never far away. She helped shape who I am today as a Quaestor in learning to deal with people and discuss whats best for HMR and it's people and for this I am grateful.

Armad has written an excellent Rec above in why Tasha deserves this Steel Cross, about what she's done and partook in and I really can't say anything more except I know I chose right in letting her have a second chance at leadership. She makes an excellent BTL and I am looking forward to seeing how she steers the battle team in the coming months with the upcoming release of the end of War fictions and HMR's decision to go against its Consul!

Keep up the good work Tasha.
