This time eventually comes for all hard-working Journeyman. He is only my third apprentice- and my second to reach this point, but I still find this point to be my favorite.

Jason Kane has been a fairly driven individual during his tenure thus far in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. He has spent the required 28 days in rank. While he has been quieter over the last week or two, it has been a rest well-earned.

For example, his gaming within Star Conflict has received 3 Crescents with an Amethyst Star. As a matter of fact, gaming seems to be Jason's strength, evidenced by the 18 Clusters of Fire and the 197 Clusters of Earth he has ground out (which equals a total of 233 CEs btw :D) and 7 Pendants of Blood for Diablo leveling and Star Conflict synergy-ing (synergizing?)- not to neglect the fact that he has reached Rank 4 within the Grand Master's Royal Guard! He is a driven dude, that much is for sure.

Over the course of his Journeyman-hood he has participated in 8 competitions and organized 4 competitions for his fellow DB'ers to partake in. This shows a drive to create as much as consume, which I hope continues into the future. While gaming seems to be his point of interest, Kane hasn't been satisfied with only that. He has also written up a fancy little wiki page for his Chiss-doctor character, and has engaged with myself in a number of different conversations on how he can integrate a non-front-lines character within Clan Naga Sadow. He also occasionally pops into Telegram to chat with our members, adding to the fun atmosphere of the Clan.

With all the things that he has said and done during the course of his career with the Dark Brotherhood and within Clan Naga Sadow, I want to elect my apprentice, Jason Kane for the honor and privilege of becoming a 4th Tier Journeyman. Rise and take your place among your peers, Knight!

It's great to see how fast Jason has risen through the ranks to reach Knighthood. He has worked his butt off and become part of the family that is Naga Sadow. I'm pleased to see his work pay off and his success be celebrated. Others have spoken about his achievements to reach the rank of Knight. I can only add my congratulations on making it this far. The rank of Knight is one of many steps through the Brotherhood, but Jason is one of the few to have made it that far. I hope that you continue to work hard and enjoy your time in the Brotherhood, Jason.

As a leader it is always exciting to have one of your members take a step up on the Journeyman ladder, but no promotion is as exciting as the leap into the ranks of Knight and I am proud to have seen Jason clear every promotion hurdle with ease - he was never a member that needed much, if any, prompting; Instead he would have diligently worked through the promotion requirements long before he even needed to do so, resulting in a patient wait on the time-in-rank requirement. The time has come for Jason to receive his well-deserved promotion to Knight, I hope that you take the time to enjoy the rewards of this new rank before you continue being such an awesome member.

Jason has been a busy bee since joining the DJB and House Marka Ragnos. Though more focused on gaming this is by no means a bad thing. He's dominated recently with the amount of CEs and CFs he's turned over, placing as well as running competitions left right and centre.

He's the sort of member to make me proud to be an Aedile, an inspiration to others and with his continued levels of activity I can forsee him ascending to the Equite ranks with ease.

Well done Jason, Well done Knight.

I haven't been Quaestor for terribly long (this go-round, anyway), so I haven't had the pleasure of watching Jason Kane go through his Knight trials. But I have seen his name consistently on the cluster digests, and seen his name on more than a few things. I have seen the records, the long list of accomplishments and tasks completed, and I am happy to see that today, Naga Sadow gains another Knight.

Knighthood in the Brotherhood is no minor feat. It requires a lot of work, a lot of learning and a lot of getting out of your comfort zone. The idea is to introduce the journeymen to all that t he club has to offer, and that very topic itself can seem a bit daunting at times. Knighthood also marks the end of the training wheels. The path forward is unscripted, wild despite all those who have gone before. It can be challenging, frustrating even, but I have little doubt that Jason Kane will push through, persevere and rise through the equite ranks much as he has done so far.

You have taken your first steps into a larger world. I am glad to be able to proclaim you a Knight of the Brotherhood.

Since joining the Clan, Jason has proven himself to be a great asset to our numbers. He works diligently on his promotion requirements as well as showing himself to be somewhat of a gaming savant. In the 21 days since his last promotion Jason has, logged into both the CNS Telegram channel and the Dark Brotherhood Voice Server, Participated in a total of 9 competitions 4 of which he has placed in. His gaming has seen him rise to rank 4 in the GMRG as well as obtaining a huge 7 Pendants of Blood and 220 Clusters of Earth. Finally, Jason has co-organised 2 competitions, ‘Diablo 3 Season 7: Rift Running’ and ‘The First Duel’

Just by looking at his dossier it is evident that Jason is someone who doesn’t just do exactly what is required of him and then stop, he is someone who is looking to participate actively in the Brotherhood and I can am proud to say that he has more than earned this promotion.

Every so often a new Journeyman comes over the horizon, and proves once again how tenacious those little buggers can be. Jason is certainly that. Yeah, I could point out the statistics, or just echo what has already been said about my apprentice. I don't think that it reflects how truly driven Jason has been. With each promotion that has come, his first question has always been "okay what do we do next?"

Some people would be happy to hit a certain benchmark and then just sit easy. Not Jason. When we were discussing the Shadow Academy and I pointed out some of the goals he could complete, he didn't express a particular interest in tackling them just then. However he did reassure me that "oh, I will tackle them all eventually. I will make my way through the entire Shadow Academy."

Honestly, that kind of attitude is spectacular, to have a set goal he has already decided to work toward. Some people would be happy with Rank IV, Rank V, or maybe even rank VII or VIII, but Jason has his eyes set on higher things- even if he is going about it at a slower speed than most.

Given the fervor he has shown in knocking down the goals on his path, I am excited to see to what heights he will soar. You have earned this promotion, Jason, and I look forward to seeing what else you bring to the table as you ascend toward Knighthood and beyond!
