Today, we celebrate a creative genius and intrepid writer, a friendly face and a helping hand, and, I can guarantee, a bright flame in this Clan's history. Today, we celebrate Lucine's ascension to Knighthood. It's been my honor and pleasure to mentor Lucine this far, and as her Master, I can most certainly say that few of her caliber or time have so well earned it.

In the course of the last month, Lucine has more than demonstrated explosive spark and drive in fulfilling the requirements for her promotion, including her participation in several competitions in which she won Crescents — not to mention her first place in a fiction for which she wrote over 21,000 words — and taking home 43 Clusters of Ice. Moreover, she helped (co)organize multiple competitions for her Clan to provide activity for her peers, and this, along with all her other accomplishments, was enough to earn her a Dark Cross for her efforts.

It is for all these contributions, but also for her positive attitude, constant cheer, aptitude, and ability to go above and beyond that we welcome Lucine to the rank of Knight, and for which we eagerly await all the more she will doubtlessly take our breath away with in the future. Congratulations, my dear. You've more than earned the prestige.

Lucine Vasano is one in a million. Or at least one in 14,877. A member for barely four months, she has already made a name for herself amongst her brethren in Arcona. As her Quaestor, I have seldom been prouder of a member under my command. She is independent, driven, and constantly active within her Battleteam, House and Clan. Her numeric achievements - the competitions she's participated in, the Clusters and Crescents earned, and the insane amount of fiction she has written - are well documented, but they fail to encapsulate her as a member. She is a light within the Clan, and a welcome, fresh face full of energy and enthusiasm. She took it upon herself to expand many fictional aspects of Shadow Gate and Qel-Droma in her own fictions, and worked with her Summit to help incorporate those elements into the official "lore" of Qel-Droma and its home Port Ol'val. She has also volunteered to help with numerous other projects, still ongoing, in addition to continuing to flesh out the new gangs and locations she created for Ol'val.

Were these the whole of her achievements, that would be enough, but she is also a consistently positive experience within Arcona. Her talent, aptitude and congenial nature all serve as inspiration to her peers, and drive those around her to further their own abilities and goals.

For all the effort she puts in, and the buoyant cheerfulness with which she does so, it is my honor to recommend her elevation to Knighthood.
