Dasha, or as we better know her, Jala, is one of the brightest stars rising in the Brotherhood currently.

During her time as Lieutenant, she has gone above and beyond by participating in a total of 58 competitions, more than triple the required amount. Out of all of this, she has earned a total of nine Crescents. Impressive for someone still young in their DJB career.

Jala has been busy in the Shadow Academy as of late. She has reached Rank IV, passed the Rewards and Management Leadership courses and earned her first Dark Maven in Philosophy.

But her accomplishments don't stop there, she is passionate about fiction, having completed well over 3000 words in total to date as well as having organised a competition. (Crazy Crash's Puzzle) a great sign of a member giving back to the Brotherhood community.

Lastly, I would be remiss if I didn't mention her activity in the Taldryan chats. Whilst not a requirement for promotion, she is highly active and always willing to give her input. Something which is fantastic to see.

As both her Master and Aedile, I am proud to request Jala's promotion to Captain. Congratulations, Jala! You earned it.

Dasha 'Jala' Talus is a joy to have around the house. She's energetic, enthusiastic, and creative. This promotion is well deserved and I am proud to call her a Taldryanite.

It is my honor to recommend Sergeant Talus for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant. Since the last promotion, which was greater than 21 days ago, Jala has met and exceeded all of the requirements for this elevation. The Sergeant has joined the Clan in our official Telegram channel and as a bonus has been an active community member. Jala has also participated in far more than just the required five competitions while placing in two of them! Technically the Sergeant has had more than two placements, again far surpassing the minimum requirements. Not content to simply participate in competitions, the Sergeant has also hosted a Sudoku puzzle competition that received 20 entries.

Jala has taken and passed the Shadow Academy Leadership Rewards course which also elevated the Sergeant’s society rank to level three. Jala has also had a fiction of at least 2000 words approved by former master Andrelious J. Mimosa-Inahj.

As you can see Sergeant Dasha ‘Jala’ Talus has met, and surpassed, the requirements for promotion to Lieutenant. I will watch Jala’s progress with great excitement as they now work on accomplishing a milestone within our club, the rank of Journeyman 4.
