Duk is an absolute joy to have around and I’m so glad he’s part of our community here in CSP and the Brotherhood. Since his last medal, he’s participated in 14 competitions, earning Crescents with a Sapphire, Emerald, and Topaz Star. Additionally, he’s picked up 15 Clusters of Fire, 10 Clusters of Ice, and a Seal of Loyalty. And let’s not forget his creativity. Duk has written over 4600 words of fiction, bringing stories to life and adding depth to our shared universe.

All of this hard work and passion has earned him the Steel Cross and it's more than deserved. Congrats, Duk!

Every year on May 4th, we award Seals of Loyalty to members nominated by the DC and Consuls--typically one per DC, two per CON. Normally I would have asked for those nominations last week, but this year we're doing something different. In November 2015 (we used to do SoLs twice a year), eagerly awaiting the release of The Force Awakens, Sarin awarded SoLs to all Clanned and positioned members in the club. This year, we're taking a page out of Sarin's book: every member of the club who has logged into the website between January 1, 2025 and May 4, 2025 will receive a Seal of Loyalty. That this club has not just lasted but thrived for 30 years is a remarkable testament to our community, the leaders at all levels who have kept the ship on course, and especially our members who keep engaging year after year. Dukwtape has been a constant force of activity in Clan Scholae Palatinae. From competing in regular competitions to being a regular presence on the discord server, Dukwtape is there. Since his last medal he has submitted to 11 competitions and participated in the recent Clan RP. Dukwtape has earned a slew of Crescents and Clusters: One with Diamond Star, one with Ruby Star, four with Amethyst Star, three with Saphire Star, two with Emerald Star, 17 Clusters of Fire, five Clusters of Ice, and two Clusters of Graphite. He has been an exemplar of conduct within the Clan and House Acclivis Draco and has shown a willingness to work to improve the overall lore and functionality of House Acclivis Draco.
