Primary reason: The Day of the Fox celebrates the ascension of Grand Master Firefox to the Iron Throne by recognizing the dedication and loyalty of our membership. This tradition has historically honored a select few of our members by awarding them the Seal of Loyalty. This Day of the Fox, like many other Dark Brotherhood traditions, will be altered slightly this year.

It is with extreme gratitude that I take the extraordinary step of awarding all Clanned and Positioned members of our Club with the Seal of Loyalty. Primary reason: Long a more pragmatic and level headed voice within Tarentum, Anshar's pursuits of knowledge and power have drifted from personal reasons (either achieved or set aside) to those that would . He avoided the darker aspects of necromancy within the clan, instead pursuing a more spiritual, or essence, based form of the art. Anshar has always put the needs of the clan above his own: stepping aside as Headmaster to be Consul being the most prominent example. During the Dark Crusade, Anshar resisted the temptation to jump ship and return to his homeworld of Jaguada, instead helping to lead Tarentum's forces through whatever hellhole they were sent to.

He has spent the past several years building up Messina, his county gifted by Tarentum, to be a fully functioning, self-sufficient state within Tarentum. Though he still pursues knowledge with the hunger of a Krath adherent, Anshar's pursuit and application of that knowledge is now aimed at better training his students so that they may better themselves and continue his work in Messina.
