The position of Order Leader is one of the most difficult within the Brotherhood. It is one that involves more initiative than almost any other position in the DB. The members that hold those positions never really have a specific set of duties that they are outlined to do. Sure, they have some, but most of their activities and work comes from a desire to further the Order, not to get simple jobs done. The Order Leaders are forced to think outside of the box, create new and exciting competitions, develop fiction that both corresponds with canon material and gives a fresh edge to their order. Further, they have to work with the most people outside of GM and DGM. The Order Leaders are charges with making sure the clans have good activities for their order's members, they track and approve of promotions, and they work actively with all of the Dark Council members on things that relate to their order. It is a truly diverse job that often doesn't offer a lot of guidance.
Last, but not at all least, is our Obelisk High Commander, Korras. There's so much that one can say about the work done by Korras, and I'm sure that no one can cover saying it all. Korras, is a person that genuinely cares about those around him. He has a rock solid integrity, and it shows in everything he does. Korras has a good way of keeping in touch with and connecting with people -- that, I admire. It's a natural ability to inspire confidence and lead that has shown especially in the RoS. For months before the RoS he talked about finding the fairest way of scoring the results and worked tirelessly to try and find a way. Since the inception of that competitions he has stuck to his rules and has kept the playing field level. He has made sure that people know what and how to do the things they need to advance in the RoS. The results have been thorough and on time and I think that Korras has made a competition that is truly amazing. The war game is something that can overwhelm a lot of people and discourage a lot of graders, but Korras has delivered in every aspect of the event. I have been amazed at the activity levels of the RoS, and I think Korras deserves a lot of the credit for making a great competition.
It has only been a short while since I promoted Korras, but I don't feel that a medal at this time would be appropriate. He has earned my respect as a great leader by showing what he is capable of through the RoS. I think he will only get better from here on out -- plenty of time to earn medals.
So Korras, I welcome you to the ranks of the Elders as well. Congratulations, Dark Adept.

I told you that I am proud of my Dark Council, and that today I would show it to them -- well today I am especially proud of our Obelisk High Commander.
Korras has been serving as Obelisk High Commander for a little over six months now. When he was appointed, a few people thought that he would need some help in the position, but Korras has achieved beyond all of our expectations. He has fit in well with the Order Leader role in watching the clans, making competitions. He has worked with Shadow and BF to monitor the Gaming Nights and make them a success.
I was particularly impressed with Korras's work on getting the Rights of Combat completed and on the collection of information for the gaming pages on the website. Korras has a high work integrity, he cares for the members of the Obelisk order, and best of all, he gets his work done.
I am looking forward to what comes in store from Korras -- including the upcoming Obelisk RoS.
Congratulations on your promotion, Korras. Thanks for all you do.

It was a slow start, but three months later, some headway has been made - thanks to DJK Kat Pridemore and OE Korras. ACCLive! had a history with the beginning of the ACC, it was a wonderful idea but failed in 'practice' After a bit of revival, it found a home again in the Combat Centre. Yet, despite it's new direction and face, it still didn't see much use - seeming to last forever in Test and Evaluation phase. I personally sought two members to hire to the ACC for the purpose of ACCLive! and the addition of the self-administering program. In that search I found Korras and Kat. Korras had been a judge for some time, so I was anxious to have him back aboard. Kat, on the other-hand, seemed fairly green but came highly recommended. She jumped at the chance to help out and sought the counsel of the staff, often - I am glad I selected both of them. It is still a hard platform to 'sell' but the both of them have brought the system to over 30 battles in barely a month's total time. They spend hours on end in the channel, most times just waiting, but we often forget the simple value of their presence. When a battle does come their way, it's waiting again - ensuring the script runs smooth for the combatants and ensuring that glitches are corrected as fast as possible. Again, waiting and monitoring - so many jobs in the Brotherhood depend on that one, thankless act of servitude and those jobs can go eons without being rewarded.
Korras was instantly moved to Operator, a position of a lot of responsibility - more so than a Judge - because he already knew the ropes. He often lends his services to battles beyond ACCLive!, which is invaluable in these times of great influx for the Brotherhood. Stepping up to the plate, Kat has also been selected as an Operator. Her overall knowledge has grown and my confidence in her is exceptional. She has such a grasp of the elements of the Centre that, as a new comer, I still saw fit to give her reign over the Jester's Keep.
They are both assets to the Antei Combat Centre, and in being so, are assets the Brotherhood as a whole. We cater to every Clan, Order and Rank; We require loyalty to the Centre and it's unbiased, unallied stances; We require the selfless ability to mentor new-comers through the basics of a platform that many enjoy and We take pride in what we do. I take pride in my staff, and I'd like to thank OE Korras and DJK Kat Pridemore for their dedication to the Centre and the Brotherhood by recommending the Grand Cross of the Dark Side to each of them.
