CONSUL REPORT #12 for Week Ending 16/07/2003

_**Clan News:
_Apologies (again!):**
I must apologise for the delay in this report AGAIN but at least you knew it was gonna be late again this week. This weekend coming I'll be at the wedding (the groom did survive....just) from the Fri-Sun. So I'll be on LoA all those days and Voranyen will, yet again, own you all:P The stag weekend was excellent, I really haven't laughed so much for years!
__Clan Re-Structuring:
Well, I never heard from one of you, so I presume you're all cool with the Clan restructuring that will take place in the coming weeks.
Clan Feud:
We hope to launch on teh 1st of August unti the 1st of September. We're almost finished teraing Gord and Dalthid up about the events and when we're happy to go, hold onto your hats as(in the words of JR) "It's gonna be a slobber knocker!!!"
Interclub Training:
I was talking to Mav earlier today and he requested that I plug the Interclub Training Night once again. Apparently we had a really good Sith showing a few weeks ago but everything has died down again. Can all Galeres and Oriens members really try to make these events (and any Krathies who can fight or fly!). Not only do you get medals, you get known by your Order Leaders and the LCH. Impressions can take you a long way in this club...

GM = It was the Grand Master's birthday at the weekend!
DGM = Obelisk rank polls will end soon. Guild proposals have been drafted and are being discussed along with the CoG position being revamped and vitally important.
MAA = The roster currently stands at 466 members, that's up from 458 of last week! JaM3z was promted to Epis!!!
HM = Cooch's 2nd stand in HM report. HE assures us the basic HTML course will be out before Mage leaves.
HRLD = Dark Voice to be released this coming Friday. Submissions being taken [Log in to view e-mail addresses]. Herald website content due for revamp.
CHAN = No news.....
SCL = The ACC is going well and Cyberguy is in Italy on another LoA. JaM3z has added a new news bar to the main DB website and a lovely IRC chat JavaApplet.
KHP = Applications for Magistrate are no longer required. Selection shall happen soon. July KMT's end soon.
OHC = Well done to Dagger who is leading the OHC cup and commendations go out to Khobai on his beautiful new Obelisk Website.
SHW = Pred asks that all members submit a small report on a new game they think would benefit and revitalise the Sith Order.
EMS = No news.....
LCH = Running CoG and Guild Q&A sessions on the MB's, all backlogged CF's have been distributed and if you have 15 trivia questions submit to Mav for a LS.
CM = The ACC is continuing to Initiate new members and the training matches have been lessened in post length so we can speed through them quickly.
JST = Has a lovely new site in development and a new medal coming out...and issued his first medal "Official Letter of Reprimand"!!!

Specifics: Jedi Hunter Cannabisia is drowning his demotion sorrows in finely brewed Miller Genuine Draft. Unfortunately, he has run out of beer and must now resort to Seagrams 7, which does not suit him.

Title: The Early Years

Specifics: Many people have a good idea of who their character is, and what they're like. It seems to me that not too many have a good idea where they came from. The Early Years is a fiction competition, based on this idea.
Topic 1: Childhood
You weren't always a Dark Jedi. At some point, you were a kid. Write a story about your childhood. It can be a major event in your childhood, what you wanted to do with your life, or even just a typical day in your childhood life.
Topic 2: The Teen Years
The teenage years are a troubling time. Lots of changes are occuring to yourself and those around you. Especially to those with Force sensitivity. What events in your teen years shaped who you are today?
Topic 3: Training
You can't just pick up a lightsaber and be a Dark Jedi. There's a lot of training involved. Heck, the training never stops. Write a story about a day in your training: who trained you, where you were trained, what you were good at, and what you just stunk at.
Topic 4: The Dark Brotherhood
Before you got to where you are today, you had to have your first experience with the Dark Brotherhood. What was it?
