Greetings, guys. I'm back from Cape Cod. I had a lot of fun, but the trip was overshadowed by some bad news. But in better news, the football season has started again, and it looks to be yet another great year in the NFL. Anyway, back to the world of the DB... A few things to get to this week.

-Celestial Fury-

-[Interclub Training Event](#lchicte)-

-System Manual-

-[Weekly Meetings](#meetings)-

<>Celestial Fury

Celestial Fury ended on Saturday. The Dark Brotherhood placed second overall. I'd like to thank all our members who participated and won so many matches. Participation in CF Has been on a steady decline since the third round, and I'm sorry to say that in the last few weeks, interest in CF has been dismal at best. However, I would like the congratulate our allies the Star Vipers on a superb showing in taking first behind the excellent playing of RedBaron.

I will be working very closely with Rebel Squadrons leaders on the next circuit of Celestial Fury. The next round of the competition will have more complete rules as well as an updated attack/defense system. We hope to make participate truly count.

<>Interclub Training Event

With Celestial Fury's end, the timeslot on Saturday afternoon/evenings returns to the Interclub Training Event. Since the ICTE is back, my ICTE All-Star list will also be returning. Due to a bit of a mix-up on the specifics of how to get on the ICTE All-Star list, I'll define it here: A participating member must earn at least 12 CF's against at least 7 opponents in order to qualify. In addition to that, they must also earn the most CF's that week. In other words, even if more than one person make 12 CF's, only one person will be added to my list and receive the Amethyst Crescent. However, I'm also allowed to reward superb performances by members who may fall short of the All-Star list at (mostly) my discretion.

So here's the All-Star list:

<>System Manual

Currently, I am working with the Chancellor on finishing the System Manual. Once its complete, I'll begin entering the information for various Clan systems. As I go, I'll be contacting each Clan and inquiring if they need me to make planet images, or if they have images of their planets/moons. So Consuls, be ready for an email from me within the next couple weeks, asking for that information. I'm happy to create planet images for any Clan that is lacking them... That way, I get to make them uniform. grin

The Dark Brotherhood territory is tentatively called "The Dominion of the Iron Throne." The name is subject to change, approval, and all that... But at the moment, it was probably the "neatest" sounding thing we could come up with. Feel free to submit different names to me at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] if you wish. Don't bother complaining about the name if you don't have other suggestions, it won't do us any good. Nor is this an official announcement or anything, so don't take it as such. You'll know the name when I do, which will be when its put on the System Manual.

<>Weekly Meetings**

I figure I might as well make mention of trivia stuff here. Feel free to harass me about missing LS's, and give me a reference to who I can contact that ran the trivia. I realize I'm still missing some...

This week, Spears submitted excellent trivia. Darksabre came in first, while Lenzar took second place. The questions were quite different from the usual fare, and I'd like to thanks Spears for his submissions. :)

Thats it for this week, enjoy the GJW!
