<> Welcome to my new report format... I suppose I just wanted to make my announcements prettier again, or something. Who knows, I'm a bit crazy. In any event, this top box will contain general information and the like, used to talk briefly about my week or whatever I feel like rambling about. Below, you'll find the useful information that relates to DB activities / projects that the membership needs to know about. I'll probably also include random information about when I'm going on leave or that kinda thing here. Additionally, no matter when my report is posted, it will be considered to be from Friday to Thursday. In the near future, I will probably add a little bit at the end which will briefly mention what projects my office is working on or helping with. This list should serve as a reminder to myself, as well as a general tool to allow the members to know what exactly is going on with the Lord Chamberlain.

I also wanted to welcome the Emissary back. I'll let him explain the situation, but we're truly honored to have him back, considering the situation. He's got a lot to catch up on and recover from, so don't expect anything earth shattering from him for a while. Still, welcome back, Tron. :)

<>No Jac? No problem

In the wise words of Bloodfyre,

"You know, we all love Jac, and there are some things that only Jac can do. However, there's a lot of things that Jac does, that other people can do as well. With Jac's life getting busier everyday, he needs help. He's asked some of us on the DC to assist him, and unless you *specifically* need Jac for something, go to Mav, or even FF. Yes, he's the GM for a reason. Firefox is capable of doing some of the same stuff you go to Jac for. When life settles down a bit for Jac, he'll probably be back to his old self, and his regular schedule, but for now, let's take it easy on him. Again, if you don't actually need HIM, talk to Mav or FF. And if you do need Jac, talk to Mav or FF first, because odds are, they can handle it, or help you get a hold of the awesomeness that is Jac."

So listen to Bloodfyre... so says Mav. :P

<>A brief note about Orders

Since it seems that many members(and apparently some leaders) are still unaware, Order Platforms restrictions have been removed. A member can be a Sith and write, or an Obelisk and fly... Or any combination of activities. We are not restricting what activities a member can participate in based on their Order. At the moment, and for some time in the past, Orders have been fundamentally different in roleplaying, but completely unrestricted in gaming. People should choose their order based as much off of the Order concepts as much as off the activities that Order is known to engage in.

So, essentially, there's not much of a reason for Cross-Order recruiting any longer. If a House receives a new Sith recruit who wishes to mostly play JA, there's no real reason that the member should be urged to change Orders. Obviously, there are instances where someone may wish to change Orders for one reason or another, but right now, members *do not* need to change Orders in order to play a game that was previously exclusive to a different Order.

Just to be completely clear... While the majority of Sith may fly, you can be a Sith and not own any games at all. You could simply like the Sith Roleplay, and that's fine. The Brotherhood is no longer restricting activities by Order.

<>Interclub Training Event

The Interclub Training Event made its return this week... Which was nice to see. :) Suffice to say, participation was greater than that of recent weeks in Celestial Fury, but still short of past ICTE's. Well nearly a half-dozen members earned at least 6 CF's, no one member received 12 CFs, and as such, the ICTE All-Star list will remain at three... Which is too bad, as I wanted to make my lil list longer. :( Sniff. :P A total of 33 matches were played, though I'd like to see double that... I'll take what I can get. :P

As for the top Clan this week, that honor goes to **Clan Tarentum**, which had six different members participating in the ICTE. Congratulations to **Tarentum**! Hope to see you all next Saturday at 4 pm EST in #outerrim. Be there, or, uh, you won't be. Which would be bad. :P

Oh, and since this relates to interclub competitions... I know I haven't sent out the last batch of CFs from CF. The CF site is currently down, which makes it hard for me to recover the records to send out mails for the last lot of people. As soon as the site's dns stuff is sorted out, I'll get to the site and reward medals to those who need them. As usual, if you think you're missing a medal, you can email me... but if its from CF, you might get told to wait.

<>Dark Voice Archives

The Lord Chamberlain's staff is currently at work on compiling copies of the old issues of the Dark Voice from before the split. This project will be an ongoing one as we attempt to rediscover the lost past of our organization. While we've currently uploaded the first seven Dark Voice issues, as well as issues fourteen through twenty-three, we're still missing quite a few issues. Of most importance are issues eight through thirteen, which seem to have disappeared without a trace. Currently, no copies of those Dark Voice's are even known to exist, let alone be easily found. If you have copies of any of these Dark Voices, please feel free to email [me](mailto:mav@chaoslogic.com), or catch me or my Magistrate, Rakhai, on IRC and let us know what you've found.

In any event, beyond Dark Voice issues eight through thirteen, a comprehensive list has been posted at the following URL: [dv.darkjedibrotherhood.com/archive/](http://dv.darkjedibrotherhood.com/archive/). Enjoy the past.. Maybe someone will find some interesting trivia to submit for meetings out of all these old Dark Voice's. It is the hope of the Lord Chamberlain's staff that, in time, we might hold an entire archive of Dark Voice issues... Something that would be truly remarkable. Unfortunately, I'm not too confident we'll ever discover eight through thirteen... Many have tried, and all have failed... unfortunately. :(

<>System Manual

Quick update... The site is still being coded, and due to the upcoming start of the school year, the Chancellor has been a bit more busy and hasn't had quite as much time. I'm confident he'll still get it done and running soon, but it may not be quite as quickly as originally anticipated.

In the mean time, feel free to contact me about possible names for our territory... I've currently had two other suggestions, and that's it. Show you read my reports, and email me ideas for names. If no further entries are received, well, then I'll be greatly disappointed. Or something. :P

<>Weekly Meetings

This week, Sharad Hett took first in trivia, and Lenzar took second. Thank you to Spears for submitting another set of quality trivia. :)

Also, as I've said before, if you have something you wish announced at the meeting, but you won't be present, feel free to email me whatever you wish announced. This goes for Dark Council Members, Clan Summit members, even a regular member with something he thinks needs to be said at a meeting. Our meetings tend not to last long these days, which is fine, but I'd like to get a bit more bulk into them if possible. So, [Log in to view e-mail addresses].
