<> Wow, this week has been busy... real busy. I haven't had so much to do in years. Granted, I haven't actually had a full load of classes in two years, but, still. So, as I'm writing this, I've finished my second week of classes. As of today, I've had two quizes and two essays, which isn't much. Still, I've also been hung over the last couple days, which has made some things difficult. :P Having a great time up here.

In addition to school, I've been hanging around on IRC when I can, and at times, playing World of Warcraft at night. The game shows a ton of promise, though its still obviously in beta. Gameplay is pretty good, and it definately is immersive in the Warcraft universe. I'm considering making a Horde character tonight, maybe a Troll Shaman or somesuch... Though, who knows, as I may end up busy tonight, as I've got some DB work to do and a lot of school work due next week...

As I've mentioned before, I go to school in Southwestern Vermont, which puts me pretty damn close to Albany. Theres been some talk between myself and others of a potential (this is only *potential*, mind you all :P) of a DB gathering some place around Albany, NY. I know quite a few DB members live around the area, so if theres some interest, even if its a plan for the future (Such as something along the lines of going to see Episode 3 together or whatever), feel free to let me know, preferably by email, and maybe we can work on something in the future.

Speaking of email, I've been trying Google Mail. It rocks. Its the best web-email I've ever seen... and uh, quite a bit better than most pop3 email applications I've seen. Its got a ton of really awesome functionality options which create an almost forum-like feel to your emails. Its tough to explain, but I'm loving it. My hope is, evantually, to get the ability to invite people to it. No, I'm not changing my email off chaoslogic.com yet, as I'm trying to resolve a few issues with my email stuff.

To bring my report back to the DB, as you all know, Goatham stepped down from Sith High Warrior. I'd like to thank him again for his excellent service to the DB and the Sith Order over the last few months. Goat has been the most passionate SHW in a long time, and really gave a lot of effort. I'm sorry to see him go, but I'm confident the new SHW will be able to use his help(no, I won't tell you whos applied, so stop asking), should Goat wish to offer it. As for when a SHW will be chosen, expect an announcement soon.

Due to some issues folks were having with the .doc version of the puzzle, Kaiann kindly created identical .rtf and .html files, which are available from the Orders page. If there are any other problems with the puzzle, let me know.

Other GJW news... Remember, submissions due on September 17th, 11:59 pm EST. Late submissions won't be counted, so get them in. We're aiming for a release of the next part of the GJW shortly after, which will wind up the plot and resolve what issues remain.

Got questions? Email me. [Log in to view e-mail addresses].

As I'm sure most of you have realized by now, all the Clans currently have at least one Multi-Order House, with a number of Clans completely moving over to Multi-Order Houses. While I realize this is a bit controversial among the membership, I believe it is truly the best way for the DB to grow and evolve. Should any Clan summits wish my opinion or help in determining when the best time for them to become full Multi Order, feel free to contact me. More changes are undoubtedly on the horizon for this club, so bear with us as the structure of the organization develops and evolves. I fully expect that Battlefield's release will have a significant impact upon the Brotherhood in ways we can't predict completely at the moment. I know I'll be gaming much more, at least. *grin*

The [Star Wars Gaming News](http://www.swgn.org/) site is live. This site, created by Cannabisia, will be housing most of the information and helpful links to current, future and past Star Wars games. The site will provide a portal from which the rest of the world can find game information, as well as find a bit out about the Brotherhood. The site will be widely used in the near future, and, with a bit of help from others, will have informative articles and just a ton of useful stuff available to people browsing by lookin for information on SW Games. While the SWGN is being staffed by DB members at present, and is closely tied/affiliated with the DB, the [SWGN](http://www.swgn.org/) is not solely a DB news item... We're hoping to get the site going and used in such a way that even people outside the DB will find its information handy.

Participation in this last ICTE was atrocious. I mean, real bad. We had under a half dozen matches. I suppose you guys are getting a bit bored of multiplayer, which makes sense, but still. Makes Mav a sad Mav. No one likes a sad Mav. :P Planning has begun on the next interclub competition, but thats quite a ways off... Also, we're talking about ways to integrate SW:BF into the ICTE when it hits shelves, so that ought to be fun.

Flech still too busy, so progress has slowed. I'm going to be looking into setting the sucker up with HTML until Flechie can get settled into his new living quarters, wherever they may be. Either way, apologies for the delay, I had expected this done a while ago, but sometimes, real life comes up. It happens.

Lenzar created trivia for the last meeting... Thanks to him. :) Arcturus took first, and Goatham took second. Congratulations to both of you guys on your trivia performances.

I won't be at today's meeting, and I apologize for that. My glasses are broken and my brother needs to go to work in mid afternoon, so he has to take me in early afternoon to get 'em fixed, otherwise I'd be there. Whoever runs trivia, feel free to let me know who got what medals, so I can post it in my report.

/me coughs.

Tarentum doesn't have a MO House. Stupid non-conformists. :P

That's because we didn't just jump on the bandwagon; we're waiting so we can do it right. :P Which Mav is well aware of.

Personally, I consider my view on Multi-Orderness to be the best approach.

I also tend to be an arrogant prick, so... naturally, it will be the best approach :P

Arrogant pricks are always right. It's an indisputable fact of history.

The only real question is whether or not an arrogant prick has enough balls to start a war and enough girth to choke the enemy :P
