Clan Arcona Weekly Report

"Light is limited, Darkness is infinite."

Greetings, all.

Just a few things to report for this last week. On my personal side of things, this past week was extremely busy for me, work-wise. I did several hours of overtime, and was not on IRC all that much. I'll get back into the swing of things quickly, though.

-=PCON=-

Firstly, congrats again to Lan on PCON. He and I have already been hashing out ideas for what is to come soon with the Clan, as well as the duties of the ProConsul office.

-=MB Discussions=-

I am most pleased with how the "elevation requirements" discussion has proceeded. Once things seem to have come to a close with that, I'm going to have a pow-wow with Halcyon (the author of the current outline) and see what if any changes/tweaks might be done in light of the discussion. I hope to soon have a "reference guide" of some sort incorporated into the Arcona.net site for easy use by Clan members.

The Clan Headquarters is something I'd also like to wrap up soon, so far as general design. If you would all take a moment and post a brief, one sentence "I think the HQ should be..." to the list, we can tally the results of the suggestions, make a polling list, and open it up to the whole Clan (unless the whole clan posts their ideas to the MB...then we won't have to hold a poll).

Clan summits (and yes, even HQD who has already decided on their portion) I need you to send me written outlines of what your Houses will contribute towards the post-GJW plan. ASAP, please.

-=House Identity=-

This came up randomly on the Clan channel, but it's something I've thought was overdue: If you (yes, You) have an idea for something that would better separate your House from the pack, say a House/Battleteam uniform, or an insignia, or...who knows? Theme song? Send the idea up along to your Quaestor and Aedile. You never know. Your idea may become a permenent part of the Clan legacy.

My idea almost did, so many years ago. But then, I was a good sport, voted for the other guy, and now his Clan motto idea graces every Clan report.

So, trust me. I know what I'm talking about.
