currently. I've got a few dozen or so projects and ideas running though
my head. It makes me wish I had more time for them ... or was less lazy
...whichever. Nevertheless, work progresses on a great many number of things
in-between my meanderings in real life. The semester is winding down and its
time to start looking at classes and such for the next term. Not only that, but
Halo 2 comes out on Tuesday ... and yeah, I'm going to be playing a hellva lot
of Xbox this week. :P</font></div>

<div>Invitational MP Tournament</div>
<div>10 members (including <!--StartFragment -->Pyralis, X-Pilot,
Dranik, Shimas, MERLANCE, Telona, Anshar, Dox, Welshman and Zekk) of
Tarentum qualified to play in the Sith High Warrior's one-day tournament. From
our clan, two members placed. <!--StartFragment -->DA Pyralis, with a <!--StartFragment -->record of 23-2, placed first. While <!--StartFragment -->OT Dranik, <!--StartFragment -->with a
record of 8-9, placed third. The competing members combined earned a total of 89
points I believe. Items that can be purchased with the point can be viewed
here.</div>

<div><!--StartFragment -->Episode III Teaser</div>
<div>That's right kids, its time for the hyping of the new Star
Wars movie to begin. Both the traditional teaser poster and trailer were released a few days ago. The poser
has a grim and evil looking Anakin Skywalker with his cloak taking the shape
of Darth Vader's helmet. The trailer has some classic Episode IV
dialogue with mixed scenes of Episodes IV and II. And just when you think
"wtf, this isn't new stuff .." they bust out the birth of Vader and a ton of
awesome looking clips including: Wookies, Yoda with a lightsaber, some space
battles, Anakin fighting Obi-Wan, and a grizzly looking Emperor Palpatine
brandishing a lightsaber. Overall, it all looks really cool and I can't
wait for May 19th. </div>

Voice and Great Jedi War Results</span> </div>
<div>The latest issue of the <span class="headingsmall">Dark
Voice has been released and with it, the results of the Fifth Great Jedi War.
You can view the final results in HTML or Excel
format. </span></div>
<div><span class="headingsmall"></span> </div>
<div><span class="headingsmall">Unfortunately, we did not win;
instead placing second by a mere 600 points. But really, 600 points is chicken
shit, a <!--StartFragment -->mere technicality in our path to
greatness. To quote <!--StartFragment --> Pyralis on some statistics:

<div><span class="headingsmall"><!--StartFragment -->"No fewer
than 36 members of Tarentum participated in the GJW - both present and recent
members. That's easily over 50% of our current membership - quite a feat indeed.
Further, 14 of those 36 people received an array of novae. 37 of all of the
novae awarded in the GJW will belong to Clan Tarentum. That's incredible."

<div><span class="headingsmall">We did good, and you should be proud
of your performance. We've won the Third and Second Sith Wars, placed second in
the last Obelisk RoS, took first in the last major Krath competition and now
placed second in the first major competition of the Brotherhood since before the
Exodus. No other clan has consistently performed that well.</span></div>
<div><span class="headingsmall"></span> </div>
<div><span class="headingsmall">The thing to keep in mind, is that a
competition like this is about pure activity and there is a hell of a lot more
to being a great clan than just activity. In no way shape or form did the
Great Jedi War begin to measure the leadership, loyalty, or contributions of a
clan. All of which are qualities that Tarentum is rich in. </span><span class="headingsmall"></span></div>
<div><span class="headingsmall"></span> </div>
<div><span class="headingsmall">It was also announced in the DV that
clan awards will be <!--StartFragment -->purchase in relation to point
standings in the final results. Also on the topic of rewards, a
commemorative <!--StartFragment --> Seal of Memories <!--StartFragment -->will be given out once to each person who
participated in a specific event. </span></div>

<div><span class="headingsmall">And finally, for all his hard work in
the GJW and DV, <!--StartFragment --><font size="3"> </font>Oracle <!--StartFragment -->Trevarus Irad Caerick was promoted to
Dark Jedi Master.</span></div>
