What can I say? My classes have been keeping me busy as hell. It's not real difficult work, its just bitch work memorizing and such. Nonetheless, it doesn't leave me with as much time to work on things as I'd like. With the completion of the SysMan I'm finally able to say there's something to show for it all. We've been though some though times, and more are ahead. Just remember what makes this clan great you, all of you. Remember that we're a family. A dysfunctional family, perhaps, but a family nonetheless. We don't always agree. We don't always get along. But when push comes to shove, the reason that Tarentum will always be better than the rest of the Brotherhood is that sense of loyalty and dedication that we all have to Tarentum as one big family.
_Policies Uploaded
_The GM
uploaded the policies for families and fiction races as well as the clan and
order powers on his site. You can view them here.
_For the
Lady
_Being the splendid person that he is, the Emissary decided to take
it upon himself and award our Proconsul for her work within the clan. Thus,
Telona has been awarded a Sapphire Blade for her dedication to
Clan Tarentum.
Honestly, she deserves more. You know it, and I know it. Telona is one of those
special people in Tarentum who has given so much of herself to the clan that we
couldn't ever hope to pay it back.
LM/CM/CoG and GMRG
Both the
Commander of the Guard and Lord Marshal have resigned from their positions. The
former Combat Master Alaric has been replaced by Dalthid. The Grand Masters
Royal Guard has been restructured (you can view the plans on the GM's policy
site) to be bodyguards assigned to members of the DC. Applications for CoG are
being taken by the GM and Co.
New Message Boards
Jam3z has set
the Brotherhood up with a new
message board system, now referred to as the "forums." The old message
boards will remain up permanently, but will be turned off for posting following
the conclusion of the Krath RoS.

Krath RoS & Scores
Speaking of the
Krath Ros, here it is. Results for the first two
chapters have been released. Like the painful case of herpes that won't go away,
it appears that Taldryan is still at the top with Naga Sadow coming in second.
Sadly, Tarentum isn't doing so well.
Don't become discouraged though, regardless of the final outcome, there will be other competitions and we will have victory. For now, look ahead and concentrate on Chapter 3.
Elevation to Knighthood
Following the successful
completion of his Trials of Knighthood, Ma'ar Tyrius Ga-Tir has been elevated to
the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Ma'ar, or Smoke as we know him better, is one of
the hard working members that happen upon Tarentum by that accident of chance we
call fate. Through loyalty and commitment to Clan Tarentum and by virtue of his
Master, Trevarus Irad Caerick, Smoke has earned the mantle of Knighthood and the
right to train his own apprentice, Novice Sephiroth Storm.
_Dark
Voice
_Another issue of the Dark Voice has been released. If
you like fiction, you'll love it. If not, you might want to check it out for all
the announcements, and a preview of the Brotherhood's new
flagship.
_Medal Changes
_New extensions have been added to the
Grand Cross of the Dark Side, Steel Cross, Star of Antei, Dark Cross, and the
Seal of Loyalty. For Dark Side Scroll and the Scroll of Indoctrination, the
requirements for certain extensions were deemed not realistically achievable and
have become more reasonable; while the Legion of the Scholar under went the
opposite change.

All Hail Spears!
For his hard work
as Headmaster, Speares Tarenate, Brother of Tarentum, has been rewarded on of
the very first Amethyst Kukris. Spears is great guy, and its always an ego boast
for Tarentum to see one of its very own in the Dark Council, kicking ass and
taking names. Spears has done a lot of work on the Shadow Academy, coming up
with new ways to keep it running smoothly by revolutionizing the envoys and
making a new assortment of courses. And when he's not doing that, he takes the
time to keep in touch with Tarentum on IRC and work on some graphics for me here
and there. Overall, Spears pretty much as kick ass person and really deserves
that Amethyst Kukri.
Flagship
As if I didn't kiss his ass
enough, Spears also did the incredible piece of work the Brotherhood is calling
it's new flagship. If you haven't seen the flagship, go check it out in the Dark
Voice.
The plan is to have the ship named by the release of the next issue of the Dark Voice. Now, since the ship was made by someone from Tarentum, would it be really kick ass for it to be named by someone from the clan as well? Jac is offering a SC to the winner, if you can manage to win, I'll throw in something extra.

Yridia System
After working on this
seemingly forever and constantly putting it off to take care of other things,
the revamp on the System
Manual is finally done. Honestly, it looks amazing. When I first started
toying with it I hadn't imagined it would turn out like great. For that, we have
Spears and Pyralis to thank. They've been working on it with me the whole time
and it wouldn't be anything close to as awesome as it
is.
Quickies
- Congrats to Merlance on completeing my
challange of winning 100 matches in 30 days.
- Tarentum is up to 702
Points in the Sunday Tourny. But for the 2nd week in a row no one from Tarentum
has placed in the top 3.
That's it for now. I congratulate you on reading through all of this. It's a lot to read and take in, but new things and changes are always exciting. More to come, of that I'm sure. For now, keep up all the good work and push forward. The crucible is coming up, but we'll come out ahead.
