ARCONA NEWS

Slowish week compared to previous reports but in terms of actually activity, it has been one of the better ones. Ive received a few submissions for the Arcona Monthly topic, and Im sure the other competitions currently ongoing are also receiving submissions. Remember, to received both rewards and promotions, being active in terms of participating in competitions is key. The more you participate, the more that you are rewarded. Its that simple. And were here to help you so if theres a specific competition youd like to see run, tell us and well do our best.
In terms of rewards, Wrath has continued his writing prowess and garnered another Dark Side Scroll, while Karan received a Steel Cross for all of the hard work hes put into his BattleTeam as well as his constant activity! A number of competition medals were also handed out, as well as all the Seal of Allegiances from the Independence Games.
On the big promotion front, Dark Hunter has been elevated to full Dark Jedi Knight! Be watchful as he practices using his new lightsaber :P Lucius, Ark Dowell, Wrath and Tuskani have all been elevated to Guardian as well! A wonderful accomplishment.
There are two Summit members currently on leave for a week. Quaestor Denath of Qel-Droma had his arse handed to him in karate, and as such, is on medical leave while he licks his wounds, heh :P Aedile Octavian of Oriens Obscurum recently had a close member of his family pass away and will be attending funeral functions. Our sincerest condolences go out to him and his family on behalf of all Arcona.
I continually do this, and I will be making a habit of updating it more, but for now, can all MASTERS (not apprentices) mail me at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] stating who your current apprentice(s) is as well as an update on how theyre doing since last we spoke (if ever). This will help me greatly in organization as well as perhaps rewarding you.
Since my last report, another new topic has been posted on the Messageboard, and this one concerns Promotions. I urge anyone under DJK or those of you wanting to become a leader in this Clan, read it and get to know it intimately. The Lightsaber Guide has been released! This is a wonderful document that will come in handy once Rebirth hits (which is still on schedule for August 1).
For those of you able to play online, there is a free flight-sim that you can download and play! It will be used soon in large-scale DB competition, so I suggest looking into it. You can download it at http://www.freeallegiance.org/
