Greetings everyone,

Its time for my first report as Consul of Clan Tarentum. I would like to thank everyone who has offered Rekio their thanks and me their encouragement over the past week. We have a great clan, actually, scratch that. We have an AWESOME clan and it was more than proven this past week. Also, seeing some new people on IRC was really cool.

Hopefully, my reports will be short and sweet, getting to you only the important stuff.

So, what's going on in the clan?

 Well, Oberst is running trivia on the history of Tarentum. October is Tarentum history month and though it is wrapping up, I think we have a good start to an annual tradition. There will be a clan run-on starting soon, hopefully one that will follow in the foot steps of "In the Shadows" and other such projects.  

In Gladius, there's an AWOL check going on. Talk to Frosty (iulian872003@yahoo.co.uk) as soon as you can if you don't want to find yourself on the wrong end of the boot.  

In Tridens, Merlance has stepped down as Aedile after a period of excellent service. Last I heard, he was still going to be around, just not as AED. Many thanks to him. Applications for Aedile are not being accepted. Also, Tridens has several competitions running. Talk to Ma'ar (smoke20ster@gmail.com) for all the details.  

Speaking of the clan, a few changes on the horizon

There will be, very soon, a "circle" audit. In fact, I've already kind of started the process now. In short, each circle will have to prove that it is capable of sustaining activity and that it is active as a unit. Circles that fail the aduit will be closed. Remember, anyone can open a circle. All you need is at least four people and a common activity (a specific game, writing, etc). Well, and permission from the House Summit (keep the clan summit in the loop).  

Next, Frosty is now a Trainer of Clan Tarentum. He will train anyone in JO or JA. All you have to do is ask him for help and he'll do what he can. The two of you can set up individual times to work on skills, or you can practice whenever you find each other. Other trainers, for any platform used by the Brotherhood, are still being sought. If you have the time and the desire, drop me an e-mail.  

The new PCON will be announced shortly, but I don't want to take away from this report.
