Pecan Report 1/12/05 till 8/12/05

Hey there Guys and Gals.

Well as you’ve pretty much gathered from many other people in the DB and possibly with your own experiences the first semester of the Academic year is drawing to a close for many and as such everyone is inundated with assignments and exams. Thankfully I finished my exams last week, did ok in them as well, well I passed anyway :P Anyway I’m in a grace period of a month or so before my next batch of exams so expect me to be doing more stuff around and about. I might even make myself available for gaming nights, whup the Pecan evenings at #gmrg ;)

It’s been a relatively quiet week with not much happening, only a minor bit of news concerning some guy called Sith who resigned from somewhere or other and decided to come back to Tar. Go easy on him Gladius ;) On a serious note (hate seriousness) welcome home Sith : )

Other news type stuff is that Dranik is putting together a cool Role Playing project for the Clan which will be a great way of developing characters and having a laugh within Clan Tarentum. At the moment he’s looking for people to help him with this project so all you budding RPGists mail him and offer your help.

I’d also like to take a moment to congratulate Rekio on his new land grant, Arx Solitas and his flash new title of Equite Noctis (Dark Knight or close enough I think). Congrats Rek.

Oberst to has gotten himself a nice new medal this week, a brand new Amethyst Kuri which he will undoubtedly be using as a tool in his own lovable ways of torture and sadism. Congrats Oberst :D

Before I go onto the next section detailing all the available funneries available to you gentlebeings of Clan Tarentum to partake in over the next few weeks I’d like to take this time to explain something to our members. The Mailing lists be they House or Clan level are for use for important data only such as advertising a competition, reports or for telling everyone what a great guy I am (ok so ignore the last one). As such using them to introduce yourself is not advised as more often or not such “spamming” will only annoy members and get them frustrated with you, which as a new or old member you do not want. So should you wish to introduce yourself download yourself a copy of mIRC (http://www.mirc.com/) or visit the DB webchat applet (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/irc_guide.asp#webirc) these will allow you to join the official Brotherhood channels and get to know people in a much more fluid manner and also make problem solving that much easier. It also keeps Karel’s inbox nice and tidy :P

So as you can see, plenty of chances for fun and games in the festive period and expect to see in the next report a good old humour comp from your neighbourhood Pecan, and yes it probably will involve sheep :P :D

Medals and promos along with any other meritful activity (SA courses basically) are included in the traditional affixed spreadsheet so knock yourself out, you can even make yourself some nice graphs should you choose ;)
