Proconsul Report

Ye Olde PCON Report 28th of March 2006.

Hey everyone

As of tomorrow my latest batch of exams will be over and you shall unfortunately be graced by more of my time and effort you lucky, lucky people :P

A important titbit to start off with, Rekio is after some GFX people for the Tarentum website, a important job for sure especially with the extensions planned for the site in the foreseeable future.

A couple of important bits of information I'd like to pass on to you. Shadow Academy EPs can and will deduct points from your answers if they deem that you've copy and pasted your answers from the notes section. To clarify, if the answers are one word answers then obviously they can't deduct points from you as there is only one correct answer (/me plots Sith Core deductions for one word answers) but if the answer entails you typing in a few sentences or paragraphs and you lift them straight from the site, even though you are correct you will loose marks.

Secondly Clan Naga Sadow have extended an invitation to members of Clan Tarentum to take part in a training event twice a week. I strongly recommend people popping in to see CNS peeps in their Clan chat room at #naga_sadow on IRC.

Following in quickly from the last point, IRC is a really good tool that can both be great fun and of excellent use for people's progress in the Clan. You can drop by and talk with fellow clan members and discuss things with your summits should they be on, even The Mean Spears will take time to talk with you. A good link to help ease you into the world of IRC is

http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/irc_guide.asp

That link also has a link to the Dark Brotherhood's IRC applet should you not wish/are unable to download a standalone IRC program. Using it you can do most of the things you can with other programs like mIRC without having to download it.

For those of you gagging for activity and an option to win medals here's some comps that you might want to participate in:

And as I am inherently lazy at this time of night and as I'm sure he wont mind I'd like to copy a email from the editor of the Plageuis chronicle I just received which might interest you.

"Greetings Consuls and Proconsuls of the Brotherhood,

I am Braecen Kunar, the Editor of The Chronicle, and a team of writers and I publish The Chronicle every month. If you are not familiar with this monthly newspaper... allow me to introduce our product. Several months ago SBM Godo Nurok set out to create a Clan based newspaper that brought intriguing ideas, personal accomplishments and Star Wars related news directly to the members of Clan Plagueis. Now, we look to expand and bring the credibility and size of our publication to the Brotherhood.

If you would like to read several of our issues, you may peruse every one of our articles: http://www.plagueischronicle.darkjedibrotherhood.com/index.htm

What do we offer to your members and Clan for joining our pool of readers?

-We offer a chance for anyone in your Clan to publish their ideas.

-If an author contributes to three separate Issues, we reward them with a Star of Antei

-We will bring information pertaining to the DB (GMRG, KSoE, PA) to their doorstep, in an attempt to create greater participation in the Brotherhood

If you have any questions, concerns or comments - please contact me personally ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and I will do my best to allay your fears.

Thank you for your time! I hope to hear from you soon.

I am, your servant,

KAP Braecen Kunar (Krath) / GC - QUA / Exar Kun of Plagueis"

All Spears and I ask is that if you do submit a story please CC us on the submission so we can take note of this activity.

That's all for this time round. Take care and enjoy your week.

Welsh
