CNS PCON Report #12 - July 1st, 2006
Okay guys. Total PCON Emails is going to be a bit inflated for the next few weeks since I get an email for every damn multiplayer match played. It's a bit annoying.
Total PCON Emails: 72
*Well, if I knew the JO SP mission was going to be that easy from the beginning, I would have encouraged you all to play. Unfortunately, the JO mission is so easy that it's probably going to end up being a huge tie. I was able to get through the entire mission without firing a single shot. And since it is a huge tie, and probably going to be graded based on how many people submitted (something I hate about how the events in the GJW are graded), adding more tied scores will only help the winners. And since CNS only has 3 submissions so far including mine, I'm betting that the winners are mostly non-CNS people, and we'd just be giving them easy points.
*There are other events out there. I've gotten a grand total of one fiction submission. Wow. I know I haven't written mine yet and I hope you guys aren't submitting because what you're working on is good.
*There sure has been a trickle of activity on the multiplayer front. I guess that's mostly because the whole system is confusing and limited, because you have to play people who are A. an opposing color and B. another clan. Btw, who is this Vardar guy and why does he seem like such a jackass?

Our very own Macron Goura is the new DSC Tribune. So, at least if we can't win the GJW, our goal to put CNS members in every position of power is proceeding as planned.
Yeah, I'm not sure what to expect at this point with the GJW.
I would like to talk about advancement. Why do I get the feeling that people are being active solely because they want to be placed in a position or because they want to be promoted? I mean, I hope you guys are participating in these events because you want CNS to win.
I was so frustrated with the idea that people were being nice to me (and jackasses to others) because they wanted to get promoted or something. I'm sorry but I cannot comprehend this. Perhaps unusually, I don't do things for power. I care more about legacy. I want CNS to win. I almost thought about taking a voluntary demotion to SBL just to show that it doesn't matter, but someone else mentioned that if I did so people would assume I had gotten in trouble for something, so I decided against it.
Of course people want to get promoted and stuff, and of course we're going to reward people for helping us win this thing (if we win this thing), but I just hope people are thinking about the clan first and letting the rewards come naturally.
It's like, supposed to be about the music man, not the money, or something like that.
Can you tell that this GJW is really screwing with my head? :P
