CNS Consul Report #7 - September 2nd, 2006

Hmm, I think I'm going to have a lot to talk about. I'll have a lot more to talk about next week as over the next few days you are all rewarded for you work during the Great Jedi War. Even recently the first wave of awards was given out.

Total CON emails: 85

  1. Introduction

Well, the first consul report that I get to write in peacetime. I must say I'm feeling quite relaxed at the moment. Maybe the next few months we'll be coasting. NOT.

I've already said this before, but I will reiterate that we did very well during the Great Jedi War. This is seriously the strongest this clan has ever been. I hope we have sent a message to the Dark Brotherhood that we are a force not to be ignored.

Alright.

  1. New summit

Obviously big news is the appointment of Thorin to Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos, and Lucius will be taking his place as Rollmaster.

  1. Gaming

In gaming last week, Clusters of Fire were awarded to Lucius and Xayun.

In last Saturday's ICTE, Clusters of Fire were awarded to Lucius and Ylith.

In yesterday's ICTE, Clusters of Fire were awarded to Ylith, Xayun, and Ruluk.

In the Sunday Tournament, Clusters of Fire were awarded to Lucius.

Hmm, I should start playing games, but I just have so much to catch up on.

  1. Medals

The first wave of Great Jedi War medals have arrived. Remember, if you haven't gotten them, you should within the next few days, as should your Novas and Clusters of Fire.

Rai and Syrus got Steel Crosses (SC).

Imperial got a Star of Antei (StA).

Talon Jade, Trev, K'Tol Niroth, Maol Nor Lexu, and Sai Alabaster were awarded Dark Crosses.

A few crescents and Legions of the Scholar were awarded for Thorin's trivia competition. I'm not going to make a habit of discussing these. I'll only be discussing merit medals.

  1. Promotions

The big event this week was Shin'ichi's promotion to Krath Epis, which we've already talked about.

I'm making a bigger push to make sure that the newer members get promoted. That is why this week there were a total of 7 journeyman promotions, which weren't even GJW related. They were for completing the trials, which take some work, but are well worth it.

  1. Conclusion

I will be running my first post-GJW competition starting a week from now, starting September 9th, and running for two weeks. I was working on the website and then realized I was going over the top and so it looks tacky, so I'm going to redo it. I hope you will enjoy it. It's light fare, so relax.

Take advantage of the many opportunities you will have to get Crescents. This seriously goes for those DJK and below. Amassing a large number of Crescents (look at my dossier, #705) is fun will get you promoted faster, because it's easier for me to convince Kaek to approve your promotion if you're active.
