Okay, anyways, apologies that it's been a WHILE since I did one of these, works been hell, I've been screwy, and happily screwing, but I'm here now, and I'm here to enlighten all of ye of little faith, knowledge, and caring.

Big news right now:

FEUD

Yesssss preciouses, FEUD is coming.

CSP has just finished their House Feud, and feel up to take on US, ARCONA!

Well, we'll just see how that turns out, the Feud is fast approaching (a mere two weeks away, I believe), and some of us are rather pumped!

For those of you who don't know, Arcona and CSP have quite a bit of history, so those of you who do know, run, for the rest, sit down while I find a pipe and some old looking book to lay on my lap while I talk to you like dumb children.

Once upon a time, long long ago, Scholae Palatine got pwnd by the Dark Council and the Star Chamber, why, nobody says these days. When it happened, the Clan got torn apart, one of the Houses got dissovled, the members of the other two were shoved in to a new home. Arcona. This was the formation of HOO. Yes, sorry HOO, your the leftovers of CSP, I know you didn't want to hear that, but it's sadly true, I feel much pain for you. Sometime later, Scholae Palatine reformed from the dissovled House, and took most of it's members back from Arcona, an act of theft and violence our Clan has never forgotten, or forgiven. We opened our Clan to these vagrants in their time of need, and they stabbed us in the back, not very nice of them eh?

So, now the youth of CSP have hatred for Arcona, while most of Arcona has simply disregarded the so-called 'Royal Clan' as being an annoyance. But such feelings can often lead to violence, and in the recent House war within CSP, they had an attack that neither House claims they were responsible for. Some of them are pointing fingers towards Arcona, and only time will tell what they attempt in retailiation to these false accusations.

So, enough about the Feud, and how much CSP is evil and bad and such, on to the rest.

Some folks left recently, among them Karel and Odin Bruth'Kothae to their homeland in Tarentum, wish them well and maybe they'll come back to us again someday.

As you may have heard, Odin was Aedile of HOO, and that spot is still open (at least four more days will Alex and I accept applications before deciding upon his successor), so mail Alex and myself.

Specifics: In the light of our upcoming struggle with CSP, we'll need some momentum. And nothing builds up that momentum quite as effectively as a well-written motivational speech. For those of you clamoring for one now, rest assured, you'll get plenty. But here's the twist... aside from the normal stuff provided by your friendly neighbourhood leaders, someone up there had the novel idea of letting you write your own motivational speech to the Clan. Just to get you in the spirit of the games. :)

Now, this can be either in-character or out of character, your choice. Whatever you deem most effective. It'd be great if you kept it under a page, since no-one likes to grow bored reading something like this. Send entries to me and Psyko before next week. First three get Crescents, and every single good one will be posted in the end. Enjoy!
