CNS Consul Report #26 - January 13th, 2006
Ugh. Just watched the Baltimore Ravens lose to the Indianapolis Colts. There's this whole bitterness about the Colts in this town, although the event in question happened when I was 2. But, the older people I work with definately remember it. I honestly wanted the Colts to lose because I'm sick of seeing Peyton Manning smirking in those damn commercials. Someone needs to break his leg or something. Or like, punch him in the face so that when he grins he looks like an idiot. If it weren't for Peyton Manning, I might actually want the Colts to win. But then again, the Ravens (my home team) aren't very well liked either. The only team remaining in the AFC, that I like, are the Chargers. Although at this point, I'd like to see the Bears win the super bowl. Or the Saints. All of the remaining NFC teams are likable.
So, if I'm not my usual ebullient self today, that's why.

So many medals were given out. I'm going to summarize some of this stuff, since mentioning why each person got a medal would take a long time.
Dark Crosses were awarded to Sai Alabaster, Kinilus, Tron, Aticus, and Xhedias for their participation in the House Feud.
Anteian Crosses were awarded to Macron, Lex Darkfire, Malik, Lanius Sin, Zak Mandalore, Ashia Kagan, Sledge, Tyron Havik (are you new?), and Maol Nor Lexu for their participation in the House Feud.
Steel Crosses were awarded to Corin and Vladek for their participation in the House Feud. A Steel Cross was awarded to Ylith for his work on the Writer's Corner. A Steel Cross was awarded to Goatham for doing things to help the clan when he really didn't have to.
A Grand Cross was awarded to Mifune for being the MVP of the House Feud. And finally, a Grand Cross was awarded to Xayun for doing his job as Clan Envoy as well as Aedile, simultaneously for a while.
Last week a ton of Crescents were given out, and this week a lot of merit medals were given out. I still have a couple of unresolved rewards for people, that I'm working on at the moment.
In last week's ICTE, Xayun earned 18 CFs, Magnus earned 12 CFs, Thorin earned 2 CFs, and Vladek earned 1 CF.
In Friday gaming, Xayun earned 8 CFs, Magnus earned 5 CFs, Raven earned 3 CFs, Rai earned 1 CF (really?), Ruluk Okoth earned 1 CF, Vladek earned 1 CF, and Garusus Finkai earned 1 CF.
In Sunday gaming, Magnus earned 8 CFs, Raven earned 7 CFs, and Vladek earned 4 CFs.
In Other Gaming, Vladek earned 10 CFs, and Magnus earned 2 CFs.
So much gaming. Obviously I'm taking a break from gaming because I am very tired from that end of year extravaganza of mine.
I've made a new life goal for myself. I want to watch a thousand movies, because my friend implied that I must be some dork because I haven't watched whatever movie he's seen. Well, when someone does that to me, I have to retaliate by watching as many movies as possible. If I've seen a thousand movies, and my friend is 31, that means that he would have to have watched 33 movies a year for every year of his life. And seriously, how many new movies that you haven't seen before did you see in 2006? So obviously, if I've seen more movies than this guy, then he can't say, "Hey Manesh, you must be uncultured because you haven't seen [name] Movie." I can say, "I've seen more movies than YOU in your lifetime, HAH!"
Anyways, I've been going to the library and watching about 5 to 10 movies a week for the past three weeks. I just finished American Graffiti, trying to forget that the Ravens lost. Meh. Now I'm sad again.
