This one will be short. I just got done with a killer brunch day at work, and got sick from some bad milk in my coffee. Yuk.
Can we say- stress? Really, everyone take a minute and breathe. The important thing to remember about this RoS is - to have fun if you can. If you take it too seriously, it rapidly stops being fun. I can attest to this personally.
Yes, I am dissapointed with my own performance, but I can honestly say I am indeed trying hard. I had hoped to win or at least place somewhere, but alas, t'was not to be this time. There will be others, and I will be even hungrier then.
Sure, it is a bummer that certain Clans always seem to win no matter what, and "graciously" remind others of that fact ad nauseum. Let's be better than that, and have some sportsmanship. We ARE the best Clan in the DB, anyhow. Who cares what anyone else thinks. In short, relax.
What have I done this week?
Written two fictions, fought 4 ACC battles and am about to fight 4 more, tweaked some Wiki pages, sent a bunch of emails, and spent some time on IRC.
Kudos: to every single one of you who have participated in the RoS, no matter what your personal opinions of it may be. To Shin, for his awesome work on the Battleplan. To Raist and Manji for kicking tail in the ACC. To everyone that wrote fictions, or gamed. To Manesh for not going insane this time :P
I leave you with a bit of poetry that I wrote from a Sith perspective, that fits I think:
