Welcome to another edition. Yes, it has been a while. I had some 6 and 7 day work weeks, and it really took the wind out of me. Not to mention food poisoning Saturday. Don't eat bad eggs. It's just not cool. However, the nice bathroom tile floor and commode is. Good thing my cats were looking out for me. I have a new springy kitten that is funny as hell, and he just couldn't figure out what was happening. Poor fella.

Couple of things:

The Orian Invasion comp kicks off in 2 weeks. This looks to be a lot of fun, and the design team has put in a lot of work. Shin'Ichi and I will handle most of the judging, and will not be participating this time. That way, you can all go out and have fun! Yayy!

I am seeing a lot of new members coming in, and that is great! With the current AWOL checks almost finished, we can separate the chaff from the grain and get rolling. So many SA tests passed... Envoy work galore... I love it.

I just got a new apprentice, as my old one has largely gone awol again. Congratulations to Iknit Star, and wish him luck.

We have a new fleet, after far too many revisions and dithering. Once it is offically approved, I'll make the official announcement. We already have the names laid out too. So exciting to have a nice powerful fleet that is many more times what we had in the past. And since the names were done democratically, no whining about ones you don't like. The populace has spoken. Some of them were not my personal faves, but the votes count. Thanks to all who voted.

Less fun things. I have noticed a bit of jackassery lately. People being harsh, saying bad things, being mean to each other. That is not why we are here. We are here to have fun.

If it's not fun, question your motives. I really want this to stop, and won't hesitate to deal with trouble makers no matter who they may be. Yes, I am a nice openminded guy that tries to see things from all viewpoints- that is one of my strengths as a leader. However, I will do what is in the best interests of this Clan. So let's all be nice and remember why we are here- to have fun. This is a fictional club after all, so relax.
