Clan Report: Volume 2 Report#7 for Week Ending 28/10/07
Introduction
I'm pleased to report on a more "normal" week in Clan Arcona. There were no massive changes taking place, just bog standard business as normal! There have been a huge variety of activities put on by almost all the summit .My own "Caption Competition" and "Name That Fleet!" competitions have also come to an end. It's time for us to settle in with our new roles and responsibilities and start to gel as a team in our Houses and Clan. I'm very pleased to see a lot activity going on, but we could always be doing with more! Can I urge more of you to get involved with the run-on and the other Clan activities taking place.

My Role As Consul<>
This week, as many of you will be aware, there was a big incident with the man they call "Morg". As I stated over the Clan mailing list, I don't really want to discuss the in's and out's of what went on, purely to help bury it. However, I would like to once again point out to everyone that I am here for the long haul. Yes I am an older member, but I amn't here to do bad things. I am here to help "fix" this broken Clan. I came back out of a fear that the Clan may close completely, something I could never allow to happen. I know that I like to rant in character a lot, but I am only using this as a motivational tool. Some of you who don't know me should NOT be judging me on these rants! Morg clearly found it impossible to discern between me as the Consul and leader of this Clan from the maniacal tyrant in-character Mejas. WE ARE NOT ONE AND THE SAME THING! I do NOT want people to think that I will banish anyone who speaks out against me or is worried about my policies and practice. If you have an issue, come to me on IRC or mail me and we can discuss it. BUT, can I be clear that I amn't about to accept a tonne of abuse about how crap or worthless or destructive I am! Think about how you are phrasing things and show me the same courtesy and respect you would a friend or business colleague. I am here to have fun too - not be verbally abused! We should all be here for the same reason - to create a fun clan where we enjoy spending time. Beyond that we need to see how much we as a Clan value our name and then the competition and the drive for top Clan will kick in. This will all take time. I will be here for as long as it takes and you should all know that you can come to me with any concern or issue you may have.
ACC Clan Training <>
Congratulations to DJK Juda, who has been appointed ACC Clan Trainer for Arcona and Tarentum. Juda is now in charge of starting training matches and is also the Clan contact if you have any ACC problems.
Project: RESURTRECTION - Ongoing Wiki Work <>
As you are aware we are working hard to update and revitalise all our Arcona WIKI pages. Proconsul Sashar is currently looking to assemble a team to work with him on this. If you want to get involved, drop him a line.
Brief and to the point this week. Lots of comps have been running/are running and I'm glad to see lots of folk getting involved. Let's keep the activity levels up and feel free to submit your own competitions for running (just as JH Draco has done). Congratulations to JScumm and Malidir, who as per usual, are flying the Arconan flag in the gaming comps! Great work guys!
